View 6 RepliesI've searched and can only find instructions/details on 6.4L and older Super Duty trucks. The process is the same to adjust the gear box for a 6.7L?
View 5 RepliesWhat's the best way to access the adjustment nut I can see it through the wheel well but it looks like I would have to take that off the get to it
View 14 RepliesWas wondering if there is a way to adjust the view angle of the back-up camera? Mine appears to be a little off center.
View 6 RepliesI just happened to look out the window of the house and see that the headlights on my truck were on. However, they were turned off from inside. When I stepped on to the porch, I immediately smelled something electric smoking. I tried turning off the lights by switching the lights from on to off, but that didn't effect the lights at all. There was a humming close to the turbo and the smoke seemed to be in the cabin more so than under the hood. I've had this truck for most of its life and it's never had an electrical issue. What it could be?
View 8 RepliesNoticed a problem on the way to work my passenger headlight doesn't work when they are on automatic but do work when I turn them on manually with the switch
View 9 RepliesMy dads truck is an 04 and we have went through this before. We replaced the whole head light switch and they still didnt work. All the sudden one day they started working again. They have worked recently until now. Same condition as before, the fog lights work, parking lights work and when you pull the lever back for high beams they come on as well but no headlights. Looking for a diagram to track this down.
View 7 RepliesWanted to replace my front headlights on the '06 with the PIAA Extreme White bulbs.
Before I ordered them I looked to see how easy the bulbs were to access...
Looks like its a bear to access. Is there a video??
As a side note I already have the Brite Box installed, which I really like
How do you remove the front grill? I'm changing the bulbs in my headlights, and I know it's stupidly simple just can't remember how to do it.
View 1 RepliesJust bought a 03 F-350 dually today. 6L 4x4.
Headlights don't work , everything else does? Dash lights , taillights , cab marker lights all work. Headlights and front park lights don't?
I also see the overhead console is dead and shows nothing? Plus the ignition turns without a key being in it?
My headlights aren't that bright on my Lariat so I'm thinking about replacing them with after market.
View 3 RepliesI have an 07 Camry LE and I bought a Kensun H11 HID slim ballast kit they worked great for a while but I had one go out on the passenger side, the ballast stopped working so I bought another kit and replaced both sides with brand new bulbs and ballasts so I would know they both would work as they are supposed to This worked for a while then suddenly the drivers side light is no longer as bright as the passenger side I tried replacing the bulb with a spare new one I had and still same light output I know overlap makes the passenger side look brighter but even against the wall they're different
You can see in the pics how one is a nice bright light with the cutoff and the other looks more like a reflection of the light I still have stock projectors by the way and I know I still need to do the squirrel spotters but not yet sure of best way to do it
Find that the elantra headlights aren't bright. I have a 2011 Elantra GL and find my headlights are very dim compared to other modern cars.
View 15 RepliesThe stock headlights on my 02' Elantra GLS Automatic were not bright enough, I could barely see anything at night. So in December I put in Silverstar 55w bulbs. In May the passenger side bulb died. I warranty replaced the bulb. The same bulb died again last week. I replaced it again with the same bulbs. Is it possibly my car can only handle 35W bulbs, or wiring issues, or faulty fuse? Not sure whats going on.
View 9 RepliesI have a 2006 Sonata, last night I was driving and when using my high beam headlights they would stay bright and then dim then brighten up again. The battery has not been replaced since I have had this car, but I didn't know if it could be the battery, alternator or maybe the headlights? They work fine on regular beam, no dimming on this setting.
View 2 RepliesI have a customer that brought this in when he was pulled over by the police. The brake lights burn bright when turning on the headlights. When I unplug the the wiring harness at the left rear the right tail lamp lights up as regular tail lights the left turns off. The voltage at harness when tail light on is 10 wher as the voltage when the brake lights are on is 8.65.
View 1 RepliesI bought an '08 Elantra in October and I notice whenever I am driving on surface streets at night people are constantly flashing their lights at me as if I have my brights on. I don't. At first I thought it might be a coincidence and maybe they were trying to warn me about cops or something, but it happens way too often. On a 10-15 minute drive I get flashed 4-6 times on average.
I've started paying more attention to my headlights since I've realize they might have an issue and at first I thought they might just be too bright, but I do notice that I can see into the back of peoples' cars much more clearly than I can when I'm in other peoples' cars.
As far as I know they're stock headlights. Were they too bright or did they just need to have their angle adjusted? How hard is it to do that and is it expensive?
Since a couple of days whenever I turn the T-reg on even in bright sunshine the lights come on (for night driving and the DRL goes off) when the light switch is in the "AUTO" position. I can turn the lights off by placing the light switch in the "OFF" position and then the DRL lights up (correctly).
View 1 RepliesHave a 2004 Dodge Sprinter. Headlights not working unless turning on the bright lights and also left blinkers are on. At this point if bright lights are turned off then the headlights working.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2009 f150 is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of when the automatic head lights come on?
View 9 RepliesIt's not what I did, but what I would like to do. My headlights are aimed too low and I have not been able to figure out how to raise them.
