I replaced my injectors n ficm, truck runs great. Now my wipers dont work. Turn signals, hi beams work. Got power at both fuses and they have continuity but no wipers or washer pump. Looking for a diagram for this? Is the motor located under the front cowl?
View 1 RepliesI have a 2004 Super Duty with a 6.0 diesel. Recently the windshield washer seems to have lost some of it's spray power. It still sprays, just not very hard. I know it's not frozen, as it started this before it got cold.
View 3 RepliesWindow washer nozzle break? My passenger side broke last Friday and then today when inspecting the driver's side it broke in the exact same place. They broke near where the nozzle that is inserted into the hose takes a 90 degree turn up through the hood leaving parts of the nozzle in the hose. I was able to squeeze the rubber hose with pliers to break up the plastic nozzle so that it would fall out. Attempts to grab broken nozzle piece with needle nose pliers were unsuccessful. Of course they waited too break until 8 months after my warranty expired but not a big deal. 10 minute install. I got the last two that the dealer had in stock.

View 1 RepliesIf it can go wrong, it seems like it does.... Washer fluid is not pumping. The other day I am almost sure I heard the pump running but no fluid came out. Yesterday I filled the reservoir and now I don't even hear the pump. It's been very cold so I thought maybe the fluid had frozen? I can't find the fuse listed for the washer fluid pump and was going to check that first. Where is the pump even located? 2006 F350

I need to install a new washer fluid pump. My question is what is the best way to get the old one off and the new one on? Should I go from under the wheel well? Or is there another easier way to get to it? The truck didn't come with an owners Manuel and I cant find anything about how to do this.
getting weak spray/dribble (yea, it could be a "personal problem " on the drivers side squirter. Left side great. I have replaced both squirters and blew out the line where it T's over to the drivers side.
Still weak.. I'm thinking its most likely low pressure coming off the pump and maybe it's time to replace I haven't crawled under there to inspect placement of pump. Thought while there I would also replace the reservoir.
1993 ford ranger ... Having issues with washer fluid not working. Mine has started cutting out or not even working when I push the button. But if bang it on the end of the handle with something hard it will work just long enough to clean the salt off the window.
View 14 RepliesOk I have this issue that I noticed on my new 2011. May sound weird but the wipers come on when I start the truck every time. Not sure if this is normal but I thought maybe I was bumping the lever thing but it does it anyway. I don't like that doing it cause of snow laying on the windshield in the morning will be a pain.
View 14 RepliesI've had my F350 SD for 6months now(21,000 mi) and have seen probably 20 times when I insert the key and turn the switch on the windshield wiper's will make one swipe when NOT turned on. Also have seen several times when starting the truck the radio comes on and it was not on when I turned the truck off. Yesterday when I finished work and was heading home I started the truck and the wipers came up about 1/3 of the way and stopped. I can't seem to duplicate the problem so I have not scheduled it in as of yet.
View 14 RepliesI removed the 4 injectors on the drivers side of my 2006 6.0 to clean them up and replace the o-rings and copper compression washer. When I put it all together (everything torqued per shop manual) I am now getting P0266,P0291, and P1000 codes. I have checked the connection on the #2 injector, it is good, and I didn't have any problems with connectors breaking or going back together on the FICM...
The truck will start after a long crank,but smokes and runs rough. It was running without codes before I messed with it. The reason for tearing into It was it has experiencing a pretty big drop in fuel milage. I had been running revx and fuel additives with mixed results...
I have no wipers or windshield washer. when I turn on the wipers I can hear a click in the cowl at the wiper motor. fuses are good #106 30amp fuse and #33 15 amp fuse. I have 12volts at the wiring on the motor left side with key on and 4.5 volts on the green wire with key off. I replaced the wiper motor and same thing, just clicks when I try wipers. I connected a jumper wire to the ground and no luck.

View 2 RepliesI have an 05 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4x4. I just went to use my wipers and its not spraying anything. The driver side nozzle drips a little bit out, the passenger side does nothing. I can hear the motor engage and there is fluid in the reservoir. I can't see any leaks.
View 10 Replies1999 F250 5.4l base work truck. My problem is wipers, washer do not function. It all started with my wipers staying on. I removed the fuse to stop them. When i put it back in nothing. I have bench tested all relays, checked fuses, put in a new mfs, put in a new/used gem, checked all wiring i can seem to find, refreshed grounds etc. I am starting to lose my mind with this thing.
I have gone through all of section A and B of these tests [URL] .... except for the NGS scan tool.
Tonight checked the pins at the central junction box relays to see what was going on. This is where things got interesting. i have constant power at pin 5 of the run/park relay. if i jump this to pin 3 the wipers run. Pin 5 of hi/lo and washer show no voltage, however show continuity to ground. pin 5 of run/park also shows continuity to ground.
With the key on I have 12v at pin 1 of the hi/lo, run/park, and washer sockets. when cycled through the switches show i have continuity to ground on pin 2 of all sockets as they should. However, when relays are in place they do not "click" over.
What am I missing here? As much as I'd hate to do it, I may end up just throwing a switch in to "jump" the run park relay for temporary single speed wipers.
Last fall had one day for about three miles where wipers and washer wouldn't shut off. Now they won't stop at all. Thought the multi switch might be bad, removed whole switch and unhooked. Washer pump and wipers were still on and wouldn't shut off. Had to pull the fuse.
View 4 RepliesA few weeks ago I replaced my CPS on the 99 7.3. Today was the first day I drove my truck in the rain. When I turned my wipers on, I noticed that I lost power and my truck started hiccuping. I read on these forums that an aftermarket CPS is most likely the problem, so I am planning on getting a ford CPS this afternoon. My biggest concern is that before I replaced my CPS, my wipers only had 2 speeds. Also, if I pressed the end of the blinker switch to squirt the cleaner the wipers would not turn off until I turned the truck off. I am not sure why this would be happening and I wanted to ask if there is more than just the CPS involved with this.

I press the washer lever towards and the washer fluid comes out, but the wipers don't move. They are not stuck on the windshield because of ice or anything either. What can I check?The next question is the turn signal. What does the lever do when you push the lever towards the dash? It clicks, but I don't notice that it does anything?
View 8 RepliesI have an '08 Lux wagon with rain sensing wipers and automatic headlights. When I spray the windshield with washer fluid, the wipers don't come on to wipe it away. This occurred today, and the wipers would not activate no matter what position I put the control stalk in. Then, after a few seconds, they came on and cleared the windshield. I have not noticed any other issues with the wipers. What might be going on here?
View 7 RepliesCurios problem with my car. When I spray washer fluid quickly the wipers do not start. I can literally empty litres of fluid on the windshield and they still will not activate. Now on other cars I have had you can play chicken and pull quickly on the lever and this I can do a off a couple of times without activating the wipers but not constantly. I had it in for service and the mechanic said he has never seen this problem before and does not even know how to fix it. It does get annoying that you have to waste a lot more fluid to activate the wipers "auto" function by holding it on a few seconds longer than needed.
