Camry :: Wheels Don't Have Power To Travel On Hilly Snow Roads

I have a 2007 Camry XLE, all the bells and whistles it was offered with. It's got about 110k miles and is extremely well maintained.

I live in Vermont, where every road is a hill, and every hill is covered in snow. Recently, my Camry decided that it no longer wants to conquer these hills. I will be driving up, and suddenly it will stop. The engine is running, but no power goes to the wheels. I'll mash the pedal to the floor, and the RPMs do not even waiver from the idle position. And we're not talking mountains, I'm talking a nice easy hill with an inch of snow. Tires are new all-seasons etc. The traction light will 'maybe' flash, but nothing out of he ordinary.

A few weeks back, my Check VSC display came up, but went away with a little more driving. Could that have done this?

Expedition :: 2000 - Sometimes Won't Start

Having a real headache with my Expedition. After doing short journey's will park up the car, come back and it won't start. The dashboard lights are on everything seems ok but the engine won't even turnover. Leave it for about 45mins+, it stars immediately. The mornings are no problem at all it starts first turn.

It is now going into the Ford Dealers for the 3rd time, 1st they cut me new keys was fine for 5days problem returned, 2nd they replaced a new ground cable was great for 22days then same old problem returned. They ran a diagnostic test and everything was working fine.

Ford - Focus :: 2013 Not Making Any Noise When Key In Ignition To Start (2 Months In Snow)

So the car was unused and sitting in snow for about 2 months. Now the car will not start, and actually does not make any noise when key is turned. No lights inside the car turn on. No automatic or electronic buttons work at all. Is this a totally dead battery or starter (since it makes no noise with key in ignition) or something else (e.g. electrical)? I tried to jump start the car which did nothing (but honestly not sure if it was done for a good enough amount of time... about 5 minutes).

Yaris/Scion & Vitz :: 2003 Echo / Snow Tires On 15 In Rims Or Snow Tires On 14 In Rims?

I purchased a used 2003 Echo last week. The all season tires are on 15 inch rims. I would like to buy snow tires for this car. The question is - snow tires on 15 in rims or snow tires on 14 in rims? I understand that 15 inch rims was an option selected on the original purchase. Without this option, the car would have had 14 inch rims.

Still have rough idle when it starts up, usually for a few minutes & then it's mostly OK. Maybe a small rumble now & then when @ a red light, etc. Replacing fuel filter & all 4 o2 sensors tomorrow.

Ford - Expedition :: Intermittent Ignition / Takes Several-to-many Attempts In Order To Start

My husband's 2000 Ford Expedition has 94K miles and has been very well maintained. For the past few months, it's been having intermittent ignition problems. It'll start up fine for a few days, and then suddenly will need several-to-many attempts in order to start. Engine cranks every time, but won't catch. A few times it has taken over 10 min to get it started, and on occasion we've had to take our other vehicle instead. My son and I spent 15 creepy minutes in a dark parking lot the other night trying to get the truck to start.

It's in the Ford repair shop for the third time in a month now (last time was for 4 days), and the shop has been unable to replicate the problem enough to diagnose it. (The two times when it wouldn't start for them was when they DIDN'T have it hooked up to fuel-system test equipment.) I'm getting the sense they just want us to go away quietly and buy a new vehicle, but this one is the type we like...paid for! The problem occurs at various times of day...in various types of weather...when truck is hot, cold, or in between...gas tank at different levels...we can't find a common denominator, and all other diagnostics come back fine. The only slightly creepy suggestion the shop had was that maybe someone poured sugar in the gas tank..

Prius (2004-09) :: 2007 - Window Seals Are Melting

The window seals (black rubber at the bottom of each window) on my '07 Prius are melting. They're leaving melted black "goo" on my windows when I roll them down and back up. One of them actually deteriorated all the way and fell off. Granted, I live in AZ and it's been hotter than a Texas whore's crotch on dollar night, but I've lived here all my life and I've never seen anything like this. I'll post a photo when I get a minute. (by the way - my profile says '08 but my ex-snagged that and I've got an '07 now).

Mazda - Mazda6 :: 2010 - Tail Lights Melting On Both Sides?

Ok, I just bought a 2010 Mazda 6 off company lease from a friend and noticed the rear tail lights are melting on both sides - yes, actually melting. Original bulbs are as installed. Brought it to the dealer and of course its out of warranty with 48,000 miles & no Mazda won't repair it (for free anyway). Original bulbs. Is this a problem with Mazdas and are there many documented cases?? I'm in the process of brining it to the next level.

Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Rear Mirror Melting / Side Door Panel Have Ripple Lines

I bought my 2012 RX 350 April 2012. I noticed that the rear mirror had like melting or warp look. Then the side door panel and in back -wing of car (spooler?) had some ripples lines. I went to dealer first they said they would order parts for mirror and side panel (this was fix awhile back sept). but the have to get factory inspector to come out and inspect car for the spooler part.

I dropped my car off because the manager says he needs to look car himself before determining anything. He told me he thinks I parked my car near high efficiency windows and had reflected and caused the melting or warp or ripple on my car.

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2006 F350 - HVAC System Is Melting / Blowing Scalding Hot Air

I was recently on a trip pulling my 32' Travel Trailer, and out of the Hvac system started blowing scalding hot air and soot and smoke into the cab. I pulled over to check things out and could find nothing wrong. When the turbo kicks in it blows even hotter. I could find nothing wrong at the time. As I got back on the road again it started again a few miles down the road.

I made it home and started checking things out. Around the dash, airbag, glove box, on the window , headliner and carpeting, is covered in soot and smoke. the computer is now telling me that ALL the doors are ajar, power locks and key fob do not work, 3/4 of the window switches do not work and 1 window does not work now. I removed the glove box and the panel underneath it to look at the HVAC system.

What I saw about made me cry. The Plastic that houses the HVAC system had started melting and the HVAC hoses have melted. I have still not found the reason for any of this to happen. Also when I got the truck a year ago the Turbo would spool up around 1800 to 2000 RPM. Now it does not spool up until around 3000 to 3250 RPM.
