Installing a back up camera and need to locate reverse lights on driver's side at rear bumper. What color wire is for the reverse lights on a 2003 F-350 (truck in my sig)?
View 4 RepliesI bought a DVD version of the shop manual several years back. Apparently they expire? Mine will start, but it won't open anything. It says it is expired, and to discard the disk.
Anyway, what color the (+) reverse light wire is under the dash?
I've searched all over and can't seem to find the answer. When I pull the tail light out of my 12 F150 there is a blue/wht wire and a black wire going to the back up light. I assume the blue wire is the positive and black is the ground. Is that correct?

I bought a new radio for him prior to the "CUT" and the new radio comes with a simple wire harness (2 green, 2 purple, 2 white, 2 grey). The picture shows the factory wires attached to factory module. The "New" speaker wire harness identifies which wire is for what speaker but I need to know what factory speaker wire would attached to the new wires. View 14 RepliesI have a 99 f150 XL 4.6, 5 speed. I spent some time tracing the leads around the ignition system to find the EDIS module. The purpose of this is to install a aftermarket tach coming off the EDIS. This seems to be a simple approach and I have a pin diagram handy for it. I am initially shying away from tapping into the EEC. Maybe better yet, what wire color to splice behind the gauge cluster that would be useful too.

View 1 RepliesI just bought a 2006 elantra limited and neither of my keys will turn the lock on the trunk. I have looked all over for secret switches. My key fob doesn't have a trunk button but the lever beside the drivers seat will open the trunk. I don't think it is a valet feature because there is no lock on the glove box.
View 7 RepliesA problem that has raised on my Elantra GT is in the hatchback, the trunk handle gets stuck in or out so when I try to open the trunk it wont, but if I push the handle in first and then open it then it opens, also I have to lock and open the car with the alarm remote several times before it opens. Now I know that the handle is bad and need to change it, the car is a 2002 and this happened on 2004 I told the dealer and refused to do anything about it unless paid for everything, They wanted like 300 to change a handle, i did not do it, I will buy a handle and do it my self, I just wanted to know if other people had run to this problem and if its hard to change the handle, the dealer said they needed to take the whole hatch apart, but as far as I can see its only 2 screws and the handle should come out. This is been a long time coming.

View 2 RepliesI bought a 2005 Accent with 150k one year ago and 3 months ago got AT fluid and filter changed. Color was very dark my mechanic friend said.
I checked the fluid and after just 3 months light driving, noticed it smelled burnt and so just changed it again yesterday and it was very dark.
Another piece of info is that previously when got the fluid changed 3 months ago the level registered way above high when car was off but then then normal when running in N. Same thing is happening now. My knowledgeable mechanic friend just told me to keep my eye on it.
There are no shifting issues, except for just light clunk when shifting into Reverse, but other than that it's great.
I just want to know what problems might be going on to burn the fluid so fast and have strange level readings when car is off but okay when on. I read some stuff about solenoids but because shifting is great should I even consider that?
My car literally started doing this thing where it sounds like a vibration or humm when putting my Elantra into reverse.
