Elantra MD (2010-15) :: Water Leaking From Hose?

A couple weeks ago I had my first oil change - not at the dealer - but at a place I've gone a hundred times. After I noticed every day a puddle, not a couple drops but a puddle going down my driveway or wherever I parked of water.
I thought for a few days it was condensation off the engine, or the AC, since it was very hot. Except I don't use the AC much & wasn't using it when the water was leaking. I looked under the car & there is a hose hanging from the back of the engine area & dripping water.
I've honestly never looked under the car & noticed the hose & it's only hanging about an inch - so I'm not sure I've just never noticed... But until the oil change there was never a noticeable water leak..

I have a 2013 Elantra and yesterday all this water came into the car underneath the glove box / under the dash. When making right or left hand turns you can hear the water sloshing around behind the dash. Its definitely water. What is causing water to leak into the car?

So I just bottomed out really hard and I pulled over to a gas station to check out my car to see if I busted anything. I noticed on the way to the gas station that for the first two times I hit the brakes hard there was a clunking noise but now it went away. Onto the leaking part though, there are two hoses that run just along the inside of the frame on the passenger side just behind the wheel and one of the lines is leaking a lot of water. What these lines run to/from? I'm going to get the car on the lift tomorrow.

Was fixing leaking water temp sensor today and noticed the nipple under oil fill cap didn't have hose on it. After further investigation I found open spot on air intake hose with nothing in it. Both places seem to have vacuum, what goes here. BTW it is a 1999 Ranger ext cab with 3.0 flex engine and auto trans. Will try to get picture n post also...

I have an '08 250SD diesel. The upper hose that goes onto the water pump has a leak. Is it usually just the Oring or the hose plastic fitting?

I have been encountering issues with my heater not providing hot air when the engine is idling. My Elantra has around 121K miles on it. I have not replaced the thermostat, water pump, timing belt, radiator, radiator hoses, or done any coolant flushes.
I checked the overflow reservoir and radiator. I didn't see coolant at top of the radiator so I topped it off as well as the reservoir. It seemed to have fixed the issue for now but I had this similar issue about 5-6 months back. I also topped off the coolant and things have been fine until now.
I checked the hoses and squeezed them to see if I could see any notable leaks but didn't see anything. I checked the overflow reservoir tank and line and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I also checked the top of radiator to visually inspect for any notable cracks but didn't find anything. Also to note, the coolant inside the overflow bottle was bright green and not discolored.
I did however notice a lot of white chalky residue on the bypass hose below the upper radiator hose and the engine block. My guess is that my upper radiator hose is slowly leaking? Leaking in the thermostat assembly? And I also noticed a tiny puddle of coolant below the lower radiator hose at the engine block. See the pics below.

My girlfriend has a 2009 Elantra and recently she has been experiencing an issue where somehow water is leaking into the cabin. What usually seems to happen is after a strong rain storm she will enter the vehicle and will notice water on the rubber floor mats on both the Drivers and Passengers sides. No one has entered or exited the vehicle during these storms and the windows are all closed so there should be now way for water to enter the vehicle. Every time this happens it seems like there is an excessive amount of condensation at the top of the windshield, but like I said the vehicle has been closed so that much moisture shouldn't enter the vehicle.
We have taken it to the dealership and they say they have performed a water test and can't find anything, however, the last time we took it in and they couldn't find anything the car sat for most of the day and when we came to pick it up there was water on the floor mats which we then showed to the Service Rep and he couldn't explain how it got there.

My area has been hammered by rain for the past several weeks and I've noticed water leaking in around my driver's side headliner and down my column. I suspect it is the moonroof drain hole that is causing the problem, but when I pour water into the hole it drains out of the bottom of the car like it should be.
I want to check the drain nipple under the column trim to see if the hose is damaged there and leaking, but I'm not sure how to remove it. I've read about the Sante Fe trim removal and it sounds like you should just be able to pull on it from the top and work your way down, but I want to check as I don't want to start breaking clips to "test" out if it works.
Is the column held in by friction clips that should come loose if I pull with enough pressure toward the rear-view mirror?

I have a 2010 Prius. After a heavy rain, sometimes but not always, water will drip from the front driver pillar and more recently from the roof immediately adjacent to the sunglasses holder. This happens usually after a turn or acceleration/ deceleration, i.e. when water trapped in the roof somewhere gets to slosh around. Before asking dealer to look into this (which I imagine will be expensive and not definitely rewarding),

I was washing my Elantra earlier and I noticed water spots all over the windshield when I was done cleaning it! Side, and rear windows too. What can I do to get rid of them? I tried 50/50 water and vinegar, and a lot came off but I still have quite a bit.

Is it normal to have water on the door sill whenever it rains? Driver side. Passenger side haven't noticed any yet. Basically the black step cover which has Elantra on it is soaked whenever it rains.

So I lifted the car up to get under there to change the oil when I noticed the transmission side was covered with fluid.
The mileage has never been good with this car for us and it never liked to shift (would race up to 4000rpms at times before shifting with minimal throttle). So I am beginning to believe that this might be the cause of it. We haven't noticed any spots in the driveway and the dealer has done all the service before this.
Car has 9000 miles now and is a 2012. It goes in tomorrow because that's the earliest the dealer had an appointment. Will update with what they say.

I love my Elantra Limited! Put almost 7k on her already. I did notice something about the sunroof recently though. Recently, I noticed it isn't flush with the roof. It sticks up a little in the rear.
Also, I was washing my car today, and noticed that the "drip tray" (I believe it's called, the plastic around the seam of the sunroof interior), had some water in it. It seems a little water got through the area where it's sticking up.

Our Elantra Coupe has 3000 miles on it and leaks ATF. Everyday I see more than a few drops underneath the drivers side. We took it to the dealer. They "re-tightened the bolts" but the leak continues. I crawled under it, removed the plastic belly pan and took some photos.

We had some unusually warm weather and a lot of rain. After work I was driving home in my 2012 elantra limited and stalled in some flash flood water. This was not deep enough to come into the car. When I hit the water the splash went in the intake and I stalled out. I pushed the car out of the water, waited a few and tried to start it. I have the push button ignition so it clicked 3 times and did not turn the motor over. I then saw and smelled electrical smoke. All my lights, radio, windows everything work. I fried the starter which I determined by removing and having it tested. I ordered a new one from the dealer.
I took the intake apart and removed as much water as I could. I ran the shop heater all night to dry up whatever water in the motor bay that I could. Then a couple weeks passed waiting on the starter to come in. It's gotten cold and I'd imagine whatever water may be in it froze. The day I got the starter I ran the shop heater again 12+ hours and drained the oil out. No real water to speak of. I also removed the plugs and attempted to turn the motor by hand via the crank and I can only get about a quarter turn in either direction. When I put the new starter in it does the same. Cranks the motor a split second and seizes. Is there something I'm missing? How could I have tied up the motor from a water accident? Is there something else electrical I may have ruined that would prevent the motor from turning freely?

So I changed my own oil today 2013 Elantra GLS, did everything as I assume I should have, pulled the plug, changed the filter, put a new OEM crush gasket on and replaced the plug. I screwed it in with my fingers until i couldn't anymore, then used a 17mm wrench to tighten it. Now I have a slow drip coming from the bolt. I doubt I would have stripped it, I carefully hand tightened the bolt.

Starting yesterday I noticed that I could hear a sloshing sound when I turn the car. It sounds like pouring water. After some driving around my neighborhood I've found that I hear the sloshing sound ONLY when the AC is on and when I turn left. It also has a sizzle sound that reminds me of dropping bacon in a hot pan.
I laid down in the floor and looked up under the dash. It looks like there's a motor and it's leaking water. That doesn't sound like a motor should be wet...The motor type thing appears to be a cylinder and says Bosch GM-M on it along with some numbers.
The carpet mat in the floor is getting a bit wet as well so that leads me to believe that something under there is leaking water and I can assume that it's leaking onto something hot creating the sizzle sound.

I have a 2012 elantra limited about 9 month's old with about 14,000 miles on it.
About a week ago I began noticing a burning smell. I first chalked it up to being 1,000 over the 3k mark for an oil change. However I then started to pay attention when I parked if there was any sign of fluids leaking. At first I didn't notice any or seemed like one or two drips. Well tonight I noticed a larger puddle that was def not water.
The other symptom is that it's been shifting up at higher RPMs. Tonight when I got on the freeway I was trying to speed up to 65 but the rpm gauge had me at over 4,000 rpms with normal acceleration...I was not gunning it. I also could not get the car to go past 60 at first, all the while the rpm increasing still, until I let off the gas then hit it again and seemed to trip it to shift and was able to get to 65.
