Elantra MD (2010-15) :: Phone Not Connecting With USB Randomly

I just got my elantra on monday and on wednesday the usb connected great to my iphone 5s. Well on saturday I tried connecting my friends iphone 4s and the connection was horrible it kept going in and out a few times like it was trying to connect and eventually gave up. We thought maybe it was her phone so we tried mine but it did the same thing. Why its doing it? I just think its weird that it worked wednesday but on saturday it wouldn't connect to anything.

Trying to perform master reset on sync because, from the title, phone button inoperative, No Aux In, and attempting to connect the ipod, you get "connection error see dealer".
The Owner's manual indicates Fuse 40 protects Sync, GPS and Sirius, so I figure that is the one. When you pull 40 you still have gps and Sirius, so I figure Sync must still have power also. So, what fuse powers the sync module?

I have the SEL Premium: My wife drove the car several days ago and may have changed some settings and now the phone doesn't even pop up in the informational display. I've done my homework in the manual but can't seem to find the solution. the closest thing I can figure out from the manual is the phone package was turned off? i didn't even know that was possible. of course it says to put the key in the ignition to turn it on or off which as you know you can't do.

I have recently leased a 2014 VW Wolfsburg Edition Passat. It has the carnet feature on it. I am currently experiencing that my phone is not playing through my Bluetooth setting. I will listen to either spotify, or Pandora. When listening to the streaming music the car will play one song and when it goes into the next song it stops playing all together through the Bluetooth, however it is still playing on the phone. I took it in to the dealership where I got it to service this issue and was given a loaner car. I could play the Bluetooth in the 2013 passat with no issues....but get in my car and it will wither play one or nothing at all! They are saying that there is something in my phone causing this issue. For it to work in my old car no problem, which was a 2011 Jetta, and the 2013 with no problems. So I have a hard time seeing it has to do with my phone. So ok n my phone I did a factory reset....and went back out to the car...and it is still just playing one song and then stopping.

I just purchased a 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS certified pre-owned. When I connect my phone the car, an iPhone 4S, the Bluetooth does not allow me to control the audio on the Hyundai Sonata.
Also when I connect my iPhone via a standard USB cable, it does not allow me to pause the music. Whenever I pause the music on my phone it stops for a second and then keeps playing. When I am connected via USB, I am able to control song advancement. I am just trying to find out if this is normal for this car?

So I have a 2013 Elantra and I have noticed that after hanging up from calls from the Bluetooth using the Red Button on the steering wheel that is it becoming stuck. I can pull it back to its regular position and some times it will spring back with a slight click noise. Can the dealer fix the one button or will they need to replace the entire wheel?

Have cruise control randomly shut off? Mine does it maybe 1-2 times a week and I use it quite extensively. It pretty much only happens while on the highway. I know I'm not accidentally tapping the break, because it'll happen even when I have both feet away from the pedals.

2012 Hyundai Elantra. My alarm goes off randomly. About 3-4 times a day. Is there an easy way to shut off the sound so it will never go off? Naturally, I don't want to lose any functionality of the remote/smart key or the push button start. Just to eliminate the beeps.

2014 Elantra SE with premium package, I've had it a little over a month. Last week the ac plug stopped working in the passenger seat area. BF said have them check at first service.
Now the trunk wouldn't open with my key fob, or the spare. So I thought maybe a shopping bag handle got in the way. On the way home from the store, the trunk open light popped on randomly. Trunk wasn't open. Okay, that's odd...
Now the alarm has been going off randomly. 3 times in the past 2 hours, I'm wondering if it's a massive electrical problem waiting to happen.

I've been driving my 2012 elantra for 3 years now, and the average mpg (on the screen) fluctuates anywhere from 18 to 25 during any given trip (I don't take long trips - after 3 years I only have 14,000 miles on the car). I rarely drive on highways, so I'd expect the average mpg to be in the lower range -- but my lease is up and I'm trying to figure out if this is just a gas guzzler or if there's some malfunction of this tool, or if it's something inherent in the way I'm driving.

The trunk of my 2013 Elantra GLS pops open randomly when the car is parked, unoccupied, and I am well away from it. This happens about once every week or ten days. Last night it popped open during a heavy rain and the trunk was soaked. I can not trust the trunk as a safe place for anything of value. I suspected at first that the remote was doing this by somehow getting squeezed in my pants pocket, but I can not cause it to replicate this by pressing on the pants pocket or squeezing the remote against the key or a pocket comb or such. I have considered abandoning the remote but with no trunk key that is very inconvenient.

We decided to take a chance on Hyundai (never owned one before) and get an Elantra. Anyway, the car has 2,000 miles on it. My husband was in stop and go traffic today on the interstate and said the car just randomly turned itself off, out of nowhere. He started it back up and had no problems after that, but I am very concerned. It makes me question the reliability of the car to be honest. We've only had it 6 weeks! I am wondering about whether to take it immediately to the dealership or wait to see if it happens again. I don't want my husband going down a hill or something and the car randomly shuts off, so I guess safety is an issue. What would you do?

I changed my front catalytic converter yesterday. Everything was installed properly and the repair went smooth. Unfortunately when I started the car, I discovered the connection between the bottom of the cat and the connecting pipe was leaking out a ton of exhaust. The previous cat didn't leak like that. I put in a new gasket and tightened the bolts extra tight but the leak is still there. The worst part is that the leaking exhaust fumes are all traveling up into the hood, which makes it look like the engine is smoking. What should I do to stop the leak? I even tried using muffler tape but that only worked for an hour until it hardened and sounded like crap.

My Galaxy S3 would auto connect every time I got in the car; good thing since it was in a holster on my belt. Now I have a Galaxy Note 3 and it's paired to the Elantra but it doesn't connect on it's own. You have to touch "Elantra paired" then it says "connecting" and does. I don't see any settings on the phone that are different. I don't like to have to take it off my belt then out of the holster and manually connect every time.

I installed from the DVD JBL Camry 2010, the 6th generation. Before that, I had a JBL, but without a monitor. All was fine and everything works, but I can not use the phone. One connector does not come and as I understand it is a microphone / aux. Music on bluetooth plays perfectly. But the phone itself, I can not even choose the menu. Can I buy a adapter for the microphone? Or manual, how can I fix the connector...

I have a 2012 Prius (3) with toyota Entune installed. Everything was working fine until recently. Several time after shutting the car off, my phone (Android RAZR/MAXX) starts ringing. It sounds like a phone call, but there is no call to answer and the ringing continues. Powering off the phone stops the ringing. But the next tine I turn off the Prius, the ringing resumes. I'm not sure if the problem is with the phone, with the car, or with Entune.

How I can listen to the music on my phone through my radio? There is no aux port in the console or anywhere else that I can find. I'm pretty sure there is a way to do it via Bluetooth but I can't, for the life of me, remember how.

I noticed last night that my phone wasn't charging when plugged into the port under the dash. I tried the port in the arm rest and it too wasn't supplying power. The USB port did charge, however; so it's a limited issue, but one that will require a service call. My Prius is only two months old...
