My limited has lost it's low beams when the switch is set to head lights but not when set to marker lamps. They still shine at a reduced output then. I've read this may be an issue with the BCM?
View 1 RepliesI recently got this car from a friend, and when checking all the lights I noticed that only the high beams work, not the low beams. I replaced the lamps, and checked all the fuses, but the low beams still don't work.

View 13 RepliesI bought a used 2002 Camry (at a discounted price because of a few dings and dents) and the headlights are not working. The high beams and turn signals work but not the headlights. I changed the bulbs, checked all the fuses and got a new relay but still nothing. I brought it to an electro-mechanic and he told me the ECM was busted and that he could maybe grind it down. This seemed odd to me so I called my old mechanic in the states who said he has never heard of an ECM causing headlights not to work and suggested I install a toggle switch. Does this sound like it could work? Could I do this on my own? I'm pretty handy but am a little hesitant to try any electrical work on my car as I have no experience with electrical work.
View 3 RepliesI installed the Low beam HID kit from xenon supply today and I bought an LED Fog Lights to match the color of the headlight. I tested it after I finished putting it all back and It works fine. I waited for the sun goes down and test it on the road. while driving my fog lights just stops running and there is no green light on my dashboard.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2013 elantra limited with the tech package. Today I discovered that my parking lights or headlamps stay on after the car is turned off and the vehicle is armed. The interior blue lighting ( gear selection, push start ignition button, a/c selections, Eco button etc. ) stays on as well. I checked the fuses, but couldn't find anything that pertains to the parking lamps.
I usually run my lights in the drl or headlights position as I lost the auto feature when I installed my H.I.D's. And they usually shut off after a good 15 seconds.
I installed a powered compact subwoofer today and initially wired it to the same battery terminal as the H.I.D.'s but now have switched to another terminal.
I noticed tonight that my low beams are both out, and they were both working yesterday. Fuse #19, a 40A in a cluster of two 30A fuses appears fine when I look at it AND my horn and backup lights work just fine too. In the owner's manual it say that fuse position #19 controls the low beams and the horn (which is working) and the backup lights. SO, that says to me the fuse is ok because the other items are working.
FWIW, I can use the high beams, but recognize they're on a different fuse anyway. Also, I replaced BOTH headlamps with new Sylvania bulbs about 6 months ago when one of them went out. Could both low beam headlamps have burned out at the same time???? Is there some other fuse that controls them both other than the #19 fuse inside the engine compartment? Could this also be a problem in the control stalk switch on the steering console?
How can I turn off the day time running lights on the car? I turned the light switch to the off button but it still turns on when I drive. How do I go about to turn this off?
View 171 RepliesAfter replacing the battery on a 2012 Hyndai Elantra the Clock, radio, remote control and the inside light stopped working. I saw a thread that says open the fuse box inside the car to the left of the steering wheel and push the Yellow Fuse switch to the Off position then click any button on the remote control then put the switch back to the On position and everything should work again which it did for about a month.
Now the remote, the radio, clock and inside lights are not working again. I did what i did last time and everything works fine when the switch is in the OFF position, but when I put it back to the ON position then all these things stop working. All fuses are fine I checked the Memory, Multimedia, BMC fuses and they are all good. When the switch is in the OFF position the car gives you a blinking message SWITCH ON , which means it's telling you to have the switch in the ON position. I have 64, 000 miles which means it's out of warranty now.
I have a 1984 BMW 733i and can't figure out why the Low Beam lights do not work when the light switch is on. The Low Beams work when the High Beams are on. I've replaced the Low Beam lights and checked the fuses.

View 19 RepliesI recently installed new halo HID headlights in my 2003 f150 with HID bulbs and ballast the passenger side worked and the drivers side didn't nth lights wired exactly the same. I switched everything from the passenger to the drivers side still nothing I switched everything back to passenger side and they don't work now. I tired regular bulbs in the passenger side an it worked then on the drivers side and it worked for a split second and went out and then I retried t on the passenger side and it worked for a split second and went out a now neither are working. I checked all the fuses and their good. What the problem could be?
View 5 RepliesI tried cycling my Hi Beams this morning and noticed they are not operational. When cycling them, my fogs turn off, the indicator on the dash goes on(blue) but the Highs Don't come on. I've tried with fogs off, fogs off and reg. lights on, both off, etc. I can't find the fuse relay by referencing the label on the driver's or engine fuse boxes.

But when i turn the knob off the auto headlights turn on. Any insight on this? when i first got the car everything was working fine. It only started to happen after I replaced the radiator.
View 6 RepliesBasically, my high beams work when flashed (pulling the lever), but they don't work when I want to leave them on (push the lever). It's obvious that it's not the bulbs since they work when flashing. I'd really like to avoid taking it to the dealership since the Lexus dealerships in my area are notorious for overcharging their customers and not doing a good job.
View 7 RepliesI have a 2011 Elantra Sedan and my low-beams quit working. The high-beams work fine. I assumed the obvious and went to replace the bulbs but they appear to be intact and not burnt out. This led me to believe that it is related to a fuse or a relay. That being said, I cannot locate the fuse/relay in the fuse box under the hood that relates to this. What the fuse/relay is labeled as? I assumed it was under the hood but is it located in the fuse box in the cab?

We the car was started and she drove off, the Day Time running lights were not on. Will the DRL not work with the FOG lights on? Am I missing something?
View 19 RepliesFor some reason my headlights and fog lights dont work as well as the turn signals, however the marker lights and 4ways do. The ac and fan also dont work. This all happened at once yesterday. I checked the fuses and they are fine. They must not be getting any power.
View 7 RepliesI just bought a 97 Dodge Ram 1500. The Tail lights work when I just have running lights on, but don't work when I pull the light switch out far enough for the headlights to come on. Also, and probably related, the dashboard and radio lights don't work at all. I replaced the switch assembly already and that didn't fix the problem (i didn't use the supplied wiring though, only the switch). The previous owner used it to pull his boat so the rear end may have been backed into the water. The brake and reverse lights.

I've looked online and it seems fairly easy to change out the bulb but I wanted to know if there any specific bulb brand recommended and also I wanted to know how to add fog lights since I live in a part of the country where it snow alot and its foggy in the summer.
