Elantra HD (2006-10) :: 2007 - Sudden Horn Blowing And Hazard Light Flashing

I would like to know what to do. My gf's 2007 Elantra (Saloon) keeps blowing the horn and flashing the hazard lights even though we haven't installed any alarm system on the car. It happens at times when the car is just parked. I have realised that the car might probably have a factory alarm system installed but not connected. I would like to know what to do to stop this sudden horn -blowing and hazard-light flashing. Also, I would like to know what to do if I wanted to order a transponder for the alarm system to be fixed.

My girlfriend went to start her car this morning only to find that it would not start and there is a click coming from the horn fuse. Went to try to jump start the car and the horn actually came on, but still would not start. I have researched a little and found this can be a common problem with the rubber bumper under the hood or caused by unlocking the door with the key and not not the remote start. She called hyndai and they suggested to charge the battery and then try to shut the alarm off with the fob.

I drive a 2007 Lexus GS 350 with 60,000 miles on it. Today I was running an errand I parked my car and then went back to work. After four hours I came back to the parking lot and heard a really low beeping sound coming from the parking lot. It turned out to be my car. I tried to open the car door with my keyfob and nothing was working. I opened the door manually and was not able to turn the ignition on as there was no internal power. I finally jump started the car and alarm went off as the car started.
I got the battery tested and the battery was completely fine. I called the Lexus dealership and explained the problem and the technician did not think there was anything wrong with the starter or anything else with the engine. The gentleman I spoke to thought you might have been Keyfob battery that may have caused this. One thing that I noticed last couple of Was that the car air filter needs to be changed. Could that have caused this to happen?
Temperature has been in the 90s in the week or so! The car was parked in a covered parking ramp!

My father is having electrical issues and I'm hoping this is the cause. Where this ground cable originates from?
He replaced the battery last week after vehicle would not start. Noticed he blew a radio fuse but nothing else until yesterday. Major issues of all instruments, ac, windows, etc going out. Unable to start vehicle without jump.Had a error code B1676. So today we switched the battery, all is good (for now) except for horn fuse that keeps blowing.

I have a 2011 sonata gls. Today I noticed when locking the car with the remote keyless entry, the hazard lights don't blink, and also no horn feedback when the remote is pressed twice within 4 seconds. I checked all settings in the display and horn feedback is set to "on". The unlock on the fob works fine, the hazard lights do blink for that. I know this is not a serious issue, just used to hearing and seeing the doors lock. What to look for to fix this?

I have had this issue on and off for a while. happened about 2 years ago just after i bought the car, and just started last week again.
The car will be running fine, then will start to buck while accelerating, shortly after the check engine light will start flashing and the car runs like it is on 1 cylinder. shut of and start again, light remains on( not flashing), car runs smoother, but does not accelerate like it should.
took it to autozone, they said it was giving the code for random mis-fire, and O2 sensor.
2 years ago the dealer said it was loose coils, and they fixed the problem, all the coils feel tight this time.

I was going to check the oil so I popped the hood and as soon as i did that the horn started to honk and the 4 ways came on. didn't have the key in the ignition. it wouldn't start either while this was going on. had to take battery cable off. Rehooked after awhile and the same thing.

The hazard lights (4 ways) have a mind of their own and will randomly flash once and then few minutes later it'll flash again.
I've checked the dash switch, did a quick clean with electrical contact cleaner, that's working fine.

Driving in sunny so cal yesterday never a problem with the car just an oxygen sensor- I was cruising along at 75 and all of a sudden the oil light comes on - immediate loss of power and i pull over to the side of the road and shut it down. try to restart and it just clicks.....tugged on the crank through the wheel well and it will not budge...oil is ok and plugs were pulled and they seem fine....oil pump...fuel pump....starter hopefully something simple and inexpensive I hope.....what is the difficulty in changing out the starter and could this be the issue?

I have a 2007 Elantra and I have been having problems with the clock light flickering intermittently. I took it to Hyundai and they replaced the clock unit and that hasn't fixed the problem. They said they have checked all the fuses and there isn't a problem with the fuses. What the problem might be? It is very annoying when driving, especially at night.

I've blown my turn signal fuse for 3 times until the relay burned out. Now I have had cleaned turn signal switch (with CC) from all of the old stuff in there and replaced hazard switch. But it happens again! After 5 minutes driving, both fuses (7,5 AMP for turn signals and 15 AMP hazard) blown out. I'm afraid there are some shorts in wirings.
I'm looking for the wiring diagrams or any other users experience in this matter... Where shall I start from?
There was a water leakage behind and under drivers seat. I removed trims etc. to lift the carpet to take the Comfort Module for checking as there were some weird thing in overall car electric systems (central locking, saloon lightnings, electric windows and dropping gauges on instrument panel. I found a small amount of water in container, where the module is placed, but on the electric parts weren't any water marks... Also it's impossible to connect to the CCM via vag-com.

I have a 2002 golf MKIV GTI and the hazard lights will flash whenever I pull the emergency break. Sometimes the emergency brake light won't go on when I pull it up but once the light engages the hazards will flash on, also I think it might have something to do with my car not shutting off sometimes. I will remove the key but the engine won't turn completely off unless I press the brake pedal but only if the emergency light is on is when that happens.

Got a weird issue with my Hyundai Accent 2007 SE. Used my key fob to open the driver's door, no problem. Tried to start the car and the horn went beep-beep-beep in synch with the motor trying to start and then on the second attempt to start it, the engine would not turn over at all, nothing--just dead. A little while later my wife said she heard the car randomly going off, no pattern just beeping. She said she hit a couple of buttons on her fob and it stopped. I let the car sit for about an hour and then went out, unlocked the car driver's door with the key (not the fob), tried to start the car and there was no issue...it turned right over. What is going on?

I have had my car for about 3-4 years now and my ac has stopped working. It is only blowing out hot air, for a while it was only when the car was accelerating it would only blow out cold air but now it's just plain hot air, and when I went to charge it would not stay charged. My compressor clutch will kick on for about 5 seconds turn back off. What could possibly be the problem?

Yesterday My wife's 2010 Elantra needed a jump start, I had Accidentally connected the Jumper cables up incorrectly. I corrected the issue and the vehicle runs fine now. however the AUDIO fuse in the interior, which controls the radio and any alert Dings keeps blowing. Its a 15A fuse. I replaced it yesterday with a brand new fuse and it worked when tested the first time. this morning however it is now not working again and the fuse is again blown. do I just replace it with another fuse? is there something else I can check? will a 20A fuse work better?

My 2008 Elantra blows cold air, but just not as hard as it used to. At max setting, it's not blowing hard enough.
Also, my steering wheel starts to shake pretty bad going 70+ mph. What could be the problem for this?

We have a 2007 Prius and have been very happy with it overall. The right rear tail light keeps burning out and we keep taking it back to the local Toyota dealer for replacement, but they have been very good about it. Though an annoyance, if that was the only problem we had I would not be here right now typing this.
Today my wife was driving and came to an intersection at a red light to make a right-hand turn. She braked coming into the turn and as she made the turn. What happened next scared her and is very concerning to us -

I have a 2009 hyundai elantra an think that i need to reset the computer.
The car is not starting and all lights are flashing dimly. I get no clock or meter numbers but the light are dim blue and flashing. The horn is also going off but almost silent.
I unhooked the battery and reconnected but with no luck. This is the most I know. I have the car manual with me and a laptop.

I'm having a strange problem with my 2011 Elantra. Twice this month, I've gotten up in the morning and the hazard lights are on. The first time, I thought it was the parking lights and I'd left the door ajar but I went out and checked all entry points and everything was secure, so I checked interior lights and everything was off so I started the car, all good and when I turned it off, the lights went out but an hour later when I went out to leave for work, car barely started.
Since that time, I've paid attention to the lights. They are always off when I leave the car. This morning, lights are on again. Nothing will turn them off except for starting the car. I'm afraid that the repetitive drain on my battery will soon kill it.

I have a 2013 6.7l super duty Lariat. I want to install flashing LED lights to work in conjunction with the hazard lights. The leds have their own controller and will be separate from any other lights/wiring. What I need is some way to trigger a relay to turn on the led's. Was hoping to tap into the hot lead off the hazard switch itself but that's not an option!
