I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. The radio flashed on and of twice in the past three weeks. Bluelink is glitchy too. Dealerships are clueless. Here is a video of the problem.....

TPMS warning light is sometimes on, sometimes flashes, sometimes off. Only 2800 miles. Checked your pressures @ 38 psi. Have had no tire issues, nails. Etc. Took to dealer today. Service advisor said too much air in tires. Lowered to 35 psi. I have doubts about their"fix". Time will tell.

View 40 RepliesI own a 2013 Elantra GT that my wife drives. We have had it since late September 2012, so it is about 20 months old now, with only 2250 miles. Yes, I know, it is not even broken in yet.
Anyway, yesterday when the wife returned from some shopping she told me that the radio in the car is still on after the engine was off, the ignition locked and the key in your hand.
I checked it out, and sure enough, the radio was still on. I restarted the car, and discovered the power button would not turn the radio off, the radio volume could not be changed, and the station could not be changed. Every control for the Audio system was inoperative, along with all the control buttons on the left side of the steering wheel.
Every thing else in the car appeared to work. When I shut the engine off, and removed the key, the radio still played on. I took the car over to the dealership first thing this morning; the service rep, the service manager and a service tech could not figure it out. I had to leave the car with them, so that one of their Electronic Certified Techs who comes in later could check it out.
They drove the car to a service bay, and disconnected the battery, so the radio would not run the battery down. When the tech came in, he reconnected the battery, and everything now works. They have no idea at all what happened.
2005 Elantra Gt ... With a great car like this I hate to be whining about the cruise control but.... the cruise light goes on when the system is turned on, but when attempting to set the cruise, the "set" light flashes on for a fraction of a second and then goes off, and it doesn't set. I've owned this car for over 3 years and it used to work fine. After reading other comments and situations I checked the brake lights which seem to be working fine, and the fuse seems to be OK.
View 1 RepliesMy girl friends car is doing something interesting, well it started off the car died while she was driving home from work, so I towed it with my truck home, the alternator had went bad so i changed that, but no here is where the problem comes in that i cant figure out, the car will start and run for about 3 miles than it will die in and out, loose power but not kill the engine and the check engine light flashes, and now the radio does not work at all (at idle or running) and the head lights are dim.i tested the battery, it was with in ranges for cold starting, output while the car is on and a few other thing, i re checked my belts and they are all tight and in the correct alignment ...
View 9 RepliesI recently got a CEL with a P2096 error code on my 1.8L 2013 Elantra GT auto with 18K miles. This indicates some kind of oxygen sensor discrepancy between the pre- and post-catlyst O2 sensors which could be caused by a bunch of things. I cleared the code and it hasn't returned in a day of driving.
I did a quick internet search and there appears there might be a TSB out for revising the ECU software for this problem, possibly filed under TSB-13-FL-006 or Hyundai bulletin 356015.
While I am driving the car it will start to die and skip. Happens randomly. Today I was driving up a small hill and it went quits on me started lurching with check engine light coming on and off. The car will turn over and start, but only for a few seconds before dying again.
Seems to happen when the car is running for a while. Also the ABS light flashes on then off randomly while driving sometimes although It hasn't been an issue. Will be checking tomorrow to see if it starts.
2011 Limited with Navigation .... Supposedly a 360 or 380 watt stereo.
When streaming from my phone, it's great, using Sirus/XM, it's terrible. I called Sirus/XM, no luck there. I've asked the dealer about it several times over the last 3 years, no luck.
Has any found if there are Line Level input settings hidden that can be adjusted? Since it's loud enough when Streaming, that seems to be the issue. I really don't want to buy an amp, etc. I'd be happy with the volume level I get when streaming if it was that loud with Sirus/XM...
I was able to remove the radio but cant figure out how to unplug the big plug
View 5 RepliesI a new owner of a 2014 and have a question. When on the radio screen the app tab is grayed out. I can access the apps through the menu settings but not the radio. How do I get the app tab to work? I have the enform app on my phone and have it open. I also have all my accounts linked.
View 1 RepliesShortly after buying a used 2013 Sonata the radio started working intermittently then quit working at all.It's the base model radio with no navigation and no reset button. I have tried disconnecting the battery, re-seating fuses and even pulling the harnesses off of the radio and it is still not working. Before replacing the radio I want to see if i can use a battery to power it up on the bench to see if the radio is bad or if the problem is somewhere else in the car.
View 1 RepliesI could barely hear the radio and the volume was not working. A couple of days later, the display screen (GPS, Radio, ...) would not come off after I turned car engine off. The battery discharged as a result. When attempting to start the car, lots of clicks were coming off the fuse box under the hood.
My solution: I removed the negative on battery and put it back; now everything is back to normal.
My XM radio is stuck on channel 1, and won't change. It was stuck on a different channel initially and I unplugged the battery and all it did was make the radio stuck on channel 1 now. I talked to sirius and they told me to take to dealership because their reset wouldn't work. Haow to fix it?
View 9 RepliesYesterday My wife's 2010 Elantra needed a jump start, I had Accidentally connected the Jumper cables up incorrectly. I corrected the issue and the vehicle runs fine now. however the AUDIO fuse in the interior, which controls the radio and any alert Dings keeps blowing. Its a 15A fuse. I replaced it yesterday with a brand new fuse and it worked when tested the first time. this morning however it is now not working again and the fuse is again blown. do I just replace it with another fuse? is there something else I can check? will a 20A fuse work better?
View 1 RepliesSo I just recently got my 2004 Elantra back after 6 months of my dad working on it. The clutch and brakes have been replaced as well as 2 tie rods. The issue now, got it home last night turned it off, removed the key and noticed the radio(aftermarket, came with the car when I bought it) and the clock both stayed on. Called my dad, nothing electrical was touched. What can I do? Is it a fuse? A relay? It has 143xxx miles on it, if that matters

View 3 RepliesI have had the new Santa Fe for about a 45 days now. It is a 2.0T model with awd and no nav. So the basic radio.
Three times I have now had the issue with the radio. Right after the vehicle is started the radio shows it being in a diagnostic mode and loud static coming over the speakers.
Turn the vehicle off and back on and it is gone. I have asked my wife to take a picture if it happens again.
I have a 2013 ES300h with Lexus Navigation Display. is it possible to have on display during driving climate or radio active? It now changes automatically to navigation.

Is this a common issue, or is there a fix for it?
