View 9 RepliesI just bought my first Lexus. It is a 2009 ES350 with navigation. I can use the hands free with no problem and even picks up SIRI but when I tried transferring my contacts from my iphone4s to the phone book it loses connection every time. Same thing when I try to stream music.
View 1 RepliesI just purchased a 2012 Toyota Corolla LE. The factory radio has a 'Phone' button on the right hand side of the radio. When I push the button, the display shows 'Unavailable.' What this button is for? With the Blu Logic kit, it has a separate phone button that mounts in the dash knockouts. Can the phone button on the radio be used instead?
View 2 RepliesI have a 2010 toyota corolla that was purchased new. I would like to replace the car audio with a unit that has bluetooth for my phone. Is there a market for old stereos? Where's the best place to sell them?
View 1 RepliesHave a 2010 Matrix with the blulogic added by the dealer, has worked fine till last week when all sound cut out. Radio lights, shows station, volume, i even get sound for 5 seconds when starting, then nothing. If I play music thru my iPhone, it works perfect. What changed, seems like a setting of some sort?
View 4 RepliesI have a 2013 Corolla LE . I have Entune. The radio works but my Bluetooth, and navigation are not connecting. I took it to Toyota Glendale and they said a new radio required without connecting it to a computer to check what's really going on.
View 2 RepliesJust got me a new Prius 2012 and it transferred all of my iPhone contacts into the phone book on the Prius. Is there a way to only transfer part of the contacts?
View 7 RepliesI just bought 2012 Prius Model 4 with the solar package and upgraded Nav. Love the car. I have a problem with the contacts in the phonebook. My iPhone has over 2000 contacts from work. Can't and don't want to load them all. I can't figure out how to load or create a contact without using my bluetooth phone.
View 1 RepliesI recently purchased a 2009 Corolla LE. I noticed that at night, my radio does NOT light up. However, when the car is in the 'on' or during the day, the radio screen is lit. I just know this can't be right. Is there something I can do to fix this backward problem? Or do I need to take it in?

View 14 RepliesExperience issues with their XM radio signal? It seems I have "no signal" more often than not.
I also have XM on my 05 Suburban and never experience a loss of signal other than going under over passes or through tunnels.
I recently got my corolla (2009) repaired and the technician said that the radio was not connected to the battery for about two weeks. Now the radio (even the backlight) won't turn on regardless of any buttons I press. All the fuses have been checked and are fine. Could this be some anti-theft mode in which something must be done to turn it back on.
View 1 Repliesyesterday, I was driving along a stretch of road I have driven hundreds of times. The difference this time was my radio decided to turn the volume very low then back to normal. When I heard the sound start to lower I looked at the radio & I could see the numbers for the volume level decline then go back up.
View 7 Replies2009-10 Toyota corolla hear a lot of noise in the center console below the radio? I know those radio bezels can be noisy along with the area underneath the radio.. The plastic there tends to creak when you go over rough tar roads or uneven bumpy roads. Especially when its hot outside..
Will this be resolved by insulating those area..? Also, when you go over a bumpy road the back of the headliner tends to make a creaking sound..
Display is real light. How do you brighten it up. Basic toyota radio.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2009 Corolla LE and the radio does not work. It keeps popping the fuse for the radio under the hood. Is this a common problem? If not any system wiring diagram? I am about to take the car on a big trip and if I cant get the radio to function....its gonna be a long ride...
View 1 RepliesSo I have the dreaded "rear defroster/radio static interference" issue on my 2011 Corolla LE. I turn on my radio and all is good. I turn on my rear window defroster and my FM reception goes away.I am pretty sure I did it to myself because it only started happening after I cleaned the rear window with some windshield washing fluid and a paper towel. I do have a knack for being a bit gruff on things and people unintentionally so I guess I am not surprised. I must have damaged the elements of the rear defroster in the process of cleaning the window. I should have left it dirty.
Anyway, I've read many posts detailing how breaks in the rear defroster grid can introduce EMI that effects the factory radio antennae in the rear window. Some of the answers I have seen suggested are:
1) replace the rear window (really?)
2) use a repair kit. URL...
3) completely replace the the rear defroster grid with an after market kit. URL...
4) replace the factory antennae with an after market unit that is not internally mounted
5) live with it
Are there any other options that I haven't found? If the root cause is the rear defroster, the repair kit seems like the way to go (even if it looks like an annoying task to perform upside down in such tight and cramped spaces). Might fix the defroster if its broken but will it resolve the EMI problem ...
We have the basic stock CD / radio model number A518A1 and the XM Radio module with the fit kit installed in the passenger side wheel well in the trunk in a 2010 Corolla S.
Installation of the XM Radio & fit kit was dead simple and we're using the built-in OEM antenna on the roof of the car.
The problem we're having is the dreaded NO SIGNAL message when trying to listen to XM Radio.
I have the Lynx portable XM Radio installed in my car and when both cars are in the driveway, I can get the signal all day long and in her car she gets the NO SIGNAL message.
We've already called XM Radio and had the signal resent to the radio numerous times with no success.
I've gone to our Toyota dealer and the only thing they can recommend is to replace the OEM roof antenna. That part alone is $80 and you have to completely disassemble the headliner to get at the antenna.
Wiring up an actual XM antenna to take the place of the OEM roof antenna? I've searched the web and can't find an adapter plug.
I am trying to install the amp and subs that I have. The radio doesn't have a rca jack on the back and I don't know which wires I am suppose to splice into.
by the way I just purchased my 2011 Corolla S 2 weeks ago n loving it!
My iPhone 6 with iOS 8.0.2 was not able to play music via Bluetooth in my 2014 Camry. After installing iOS 8.1 today, I can play music and make calls via Bluetooth. This issue was also present in my wife's 2013 Accord.
View 4 RepliesMy 10 months old 2011 Corolla started acting up. Two days ago I noticed the light on the clock is gone, so now I cannot see time at night or when driving in a parking garage.
Today in the morning I turned the headlights on and oops...the radio is playing fine but the display is black. If I want to see station #'s, I have to turn off the lights.
What's wrong with the clock light and radio display? Do I have to take to the dealer right away or can it wait until I go for an oil change in a week or so?
