I am planning on adding fog lights to my Corolla 2011 LE.
I am considering this one ....
and these LEDs for my license plate ....
Combo of interior and internal LED bulbs. What particular bulb type to get for my MAP lights and license plate lights.
This was suggested by V-Leds for my license plate... [URL] ..... What do you think?
They did not suggest any for the MAP light, I'm thinking these are the ones... [URL] ......
Was parallel parking today, and bumped ever so gently into a person license plate and it scratched my bumper. Not too bad, but I notice it of course. The scratch is about an inch or so long. Are there any quick fixes to buffing this out. I have touch-up paint, but I'm afraid that will look sloppy.

View 7 RepliesOne of my light bulbs for the rear license plate light is out.
what kind of light bulb I need to get?
So I bought LED license plate lights, the same ones Track5tar has (who sent me the link to get them). I got em off the bay, and I put them in and they don't work! The Heatsink gets hot but the lights don't light up in both of them!
View 24 RepliesSo I was replacing the lights with the new leds change one toke some pics to compare. Everything fine...
Removed the other feston put the new led and they won't turn on anymore..
Change them back. Put them upside down, up, sideways... Nothing
Check all three fuse boxes all ok
Every other light on, inside trunk on, side markers on...
Everything but the license plate lights.
Bulbs are fine, I turned the light switch from off to on (12 o'clock position) and they flicker for a split second. What can be wrong? I checked the harness on the rear hatch and it looks fine. Maybe the switch itself?
View 2 RepliesFor a few weeks now I noticed my stock license plate bulbs started to act strange. My left one is about half burned out, and the right one started to flicker and burned out entirely.
So.. Easy fix right? I bought 4-smd led lights to replace the burnt out ones and as soon as I installed them they worked perfectly! But about twenty minutes later .. The right one burned out. And the left one is dim.
Is there something wrong with the wire? what can I do?
I have a Ford Windstar 1999 . My license plate lights are both out. I remove the inside panel of the back door, there is a connector between the license lamps and the rest of the car electrical system. I disconnect it. I go turn on the lamps at the dash board, I then reconnect the connector to the license plate lamps at the rear door… and they work! I go back to the dash and switch the lamps (controls side +rear lamps and license) OFF and then immediately back ON, and the license plate lamps stay OUT. All the others lamps on the fuse circuit work fine. When lamps are lit, shaking the wiring harness has no effect. What is happening and where? This is very strange!
View 4 RepliesI found some threads about changing the license plate light on a 2009 Hyundai Accent and all of them involved removing the plastic trim inside of the hatch. However, I saw a few people mention that they broke a few plastic clips. I want to prevent breaking any clips.
Also, this ( hyundai-forums.com/184-mc-2006-2011-accent/94825-2009-accent-replacement-bulbs.html ) thread says that the replacement lights for the license plate are 168 or 168LL, but other posters say that they replaced them with white lights. What code are they?
I have a 90 Honda Accord and can't figure out why the lights aren't working. I have no computer codes and all the fuses are good. The headlights, brake, turn signal lights, hazards and interior lights work fine but the tail lights, license plate lights, and all marker lights won't go on. I only noticed by a chance walk around on the car. I've checked every fuse inside and outside fuse panels. The hazards and brake lights going on makes me think that it can't be a ground problem.
I have spent a lot of time trying different things and checking wires andd fuses and can't find any problems. Is there a relay or something for the marker lights?
Where the license plate lights get thir power from? I have a 2002 SC430 and the plug is just dangling. It goes behind the plate and then if I look under the car, it is just there by the bumper and I cannot find a connector that it can reach.
View 3 RepliesOne of my license plate lights doesn't turn on until I tap it..
What could be causing this? I installed LED's in them but a few months later I noticed this happening.
I try to install LEDS on it and I guess I accidently blew the fuse and when I try to search for it, I can't locate it.
View 3 RepliesWas installing led license plate lights and they turned on for a second then shut off, I began trying to switch them around and do whatever I could but still wouldn't light up even put the stock ones in again and they wouldn't work.
View 8 RepliesMy Pathfinder has the license palate in the middle/center of the hatchback door, with one light on the left and one on the right. I cannot figure out how to change the bulbs and my manual is no dice; it shows the process for a different location of the plate on the door, maybe a different version of my year model.
View 6 RepliesSo my tail lights and license plate lights are not working. The head lights work also my gauge cluster lights are not working. Which fuse I should check. Or what it might be?
View 6 RepliesI was just washing my 2016 superduty that just turned 3000mi and noticed the light housings and plastic are broken on the license plate lights. The one just fell apart in my hand. 55k and this happens at 3000mi.

View 4 RepliesI just got a 2011 corolla le with 45k miles and the gas millage is terrible. I have a 2005 acura rsx and I drive about 20 miles a day and I can go a whole month without refilling. I Put in half a tank in our corolla and only got 115 miles out of it. I drive the same way I do in my acura which Is pretty fuel efficient. My car tells me I am getting 27 mpg. But if I calculated correctly (115miles /7 gallons= about 1 8 mpg, my acura will get nearly twice that millage. What do you think I need to do. I've only put 500-1000 miles on it and not sure when the last tune up was. Should I take it to Toyota?
