Cherokee :: No Right Turn Signal After Combination Relay Replaced

Jan 28, 2013

My left turn signal stopped working all together after months of toggling the hazards to get it to work. I attempted to solder the combination relay myself but bridged two contacts together. I guess I didn't do a good job separating them again cause when I plugged it back in, neither signal worked and it must have burnt out the #20 10a fuse cause the heater control had no power, neither did the heated seats. Also found the #26 15a fuse was blown too. But before I replaced the fuses I got a used combination relay I pulled from a jeep at a junk yard (free). Plugged that in (nothing changed) but then replaced the fuses. Heater control and heated seats came back, had hazards but no directionals. Took used relay out and heated that one up to reactivate the solder, plugged it back in and had a left signal but now no right. Tried to reflow the solder second time but still just the left. Dropped $58 on a new relay at the dealer, plugged that in but still no right signal!! I tried other fuses in those to spots I replaced, pulled everyone of the others and checked them, checked the fuses under the hood and still no right.

Lexus IS 2014+ :: Turn Signal Relay Location?

Where the turn signal relay is located? I want to change my stock turn signals to LED. However, I don't want to use those "load resistors" or "cancelers". iJDMtoy sells an LED relay for the 14' IS (confirmed). After looking through the manual and at all 3 fuse/relay locations I can't locate it.

Passat (B5) :: Turn Signal Relay Stuttering And Clicking

My turn signal relay clicking and stuttering randomly. When turn or warning signal used it operates normally with absolutely no problem and sounds healthy. But when not used and supposed to be quite - it goes again. When stuttering - there is absolutely no indication other than clicking sound that something is wrong.

Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Turn Signal Relay Replacement?

I've changed out all of my external lights for led's, including the turn signals. I had planned on replacing the turn signal relays with led comparable versions but have been unable to find the relays in the fuse boxes. The box that does the actual clicking under the dash seems like it could be it but it looks completely proprietary to this model, and not readily available in the compatible version.

I ended up installing resistors for now but that's caused other problems with my lights. Now when I turn my high beams on all 4 turn signals light up solid and I am unable to use them until I turn the highs off.

So, I would love to know if I do have a relay replacement option for my 2012 Santa Fe...

Ford Excursion :: Electronic Turn Signal Relay Clicking Away

I installed an EP27 electronic turn signal relay and changed the tail bulbs to Sylvania red 3157Rs in our Exped and everything works fine. I installed another EP27 in our Excur and the relay starts clicking when nothing is on and nothing else has been changed - all stock bulbs and working fine before.

No lights are blinking, but the EP27 turn signal relay is clicking away. Select left turn, right turn or hazard lights and they blink fine. Deselect the lights and the relay continues to click. Swapped the relay from the Exped to the Excur and it clicks, too. Reinstalled the stock turn signal relay and all is fine. There must be some difference or problem in the wiring, it doesn't make sense.

Passat (B5) :: Turn Signal Relay Work Sometimes For A Few Clicks But Then Stop Working

The turn signal lights in my brother's 2000 passat are staying lit when he turns the signals on. They work sometimes, for a few clicks, but then stop working.

1. is it the turn signal relay. It sounds like its in the middle of the dash.
2. how do you get to that relay?

Have to remove the HVAC controls? if so, how the heck do you do it?

Ford Wiring/Electrical :: 1994 F350 - Location Of Turn Signal Relay?

Long story short, my truck's front turn signals and rear turn signals/tail lights won't work. I am thinking that the relay is burnt. Whenever I look in the manual I can't seem to find the location for this relay. Is is built into the flasher?

Also, I am just assuming because the rear turn signals and tail lights are the same bulb that fixing this should clear up both problems. Am I right in thinking that?

I have already checked all of the fuses. Also, the Hazards don't work either.

Accent RB (2012+) :: 2013 - Left Front Blinker Dim / Location Of Turn Signal Relay?

I need to know the Location of the turn signal relay, my left front bilnker is super dim, and the rear left blinker is normal brightness as well as they blink rapidly. I've replaced both front and back bulbs as well as the flasher and turn signal fuses, so I am assuming the last and final one is the turn signal relay.

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: Turn Signal / Hazard Relay Is Clicking With Key Off

My neighbors 02 250 6.8l the turn signal/hazard relay is clicking with key off, sounds exactly like a turn signal when truck is off and switches are not engaged. Here's the weird thing, if you hit the brakes the relay stops clicking, if you engage the turn signal or the hazards the lights on the dash are in time with the relay as it should be, but when the turn signal switch or hazards are turned off the relay keeps clicking except when you hit the brakes. Also the turn signal will work with ignition off, if you pull the relay out the turn signals and hazards are inoperable but the brake lights still work. I swapped in a new relay and same thing...

Ford Super Duty (1999-2016) :: 2003 F550 - Turn Signal Relay Flashes At The Speed Of Sound

Ok so my fire station has a 2003 f550 rescue truck with a rescue body with the round tail lights, we recently upgraded them to the LED ones that are much brighter but of course it flashes at the speed of sound. The question I have is:

1. the relay {flasher} is located on the driver side inner fender? I think....
2. does the same EP-27 relay/flasher fix the problem?

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Turn Signal Replaced Still Blinking Rapidly

The other day i noticed my turn signal was blinking rapidly. I found that my drivers side bulb was burned out. I am trying to convert most of my lights to LEDs on my truck and figured that I'd replaced the tail lights with LEDs. After replacing both rear taillights with LEDS I still have the rapid blinking turn signal. Whats the deal? is it just the LEDS or what?

Sonata I45 (LF 2015+) :: When Left Turn Signal Turned On / Right Signal Will Blink

We have a 2015 Sonata 2.4 Sport that has developed an intermittent turn signal problem. When the left turn signal is turned on, the right signal will blink. When the right signal is turned on, nothing blinks. A new symptom that recently started is sometimes neither turn signal will turn on regardless of the position of the turn signal stalk. I managed to get the car to dealer #1 while the LEFT=RIGHT & RIGHT=NOTHING issue was happening but while troubleshooting it, they ran across an inactivated aftermarket alarm system that dealer #2 that sold me the car had installed. I guess the alarm they install is so cheap, it's not even worth removing if they are unsuccessful in upselling you at the time of purchase.

Since dealer #1 would not troubleshoot any further unless the alarm was removed, I retrieved the car and took it back to the original dealer #2 I bought it from. They removed the alarm and the turn signals started working again, however, this lasted about 2 weeks before the symptoms returned. I booked an appointment at the dealer #1 to bring the car in & half way during the drive there, the turn signals started working again. With nothing to show them, I didn't drop off the car. Now the problem is back. Since it tends to come and go, I have try and time when I can drop the car off so it's happening when they get it.

Ford Excursion :: Do Added Signal Mirrors Need Separate Relay?

I added signal paddle mirrors on my 2000 Ex. I found the left and right turn signal wires under the dash. The mirror led signal arrows light up but they do not blink. Do I need a separate relay or am I just missing something here? I did a search about adding mirrors and extra wires but nothing is mentioned anywhere about the blink/no blink remedy.

If I let the directional lever jump back into place, the problem does not occur. Is it the switch in the column, or the relay?

Cherokee :: 98 ZJ 5.2L - Humming Noise After Replaced All Front End Steering Parts

My '98 ZJ 5.2L. I just replaced pretty much all of the front end steering parts because there was a lot of play going on and most of the boots didn't seem to hold grease. I replaced my tie rod ends, center link, drag link, and steering stabilizer. I did my best to align the tires using a tape measurer and ended up within 1/8 inch difference. I couldn't get it any closer than that, so I left it. Now, my Jeep is humming whenever I turn the wheel. Normally, I might look to either the power steering pump or some of the front end parts, but seeing as I just replaced pretty much all of them and I replaced my power steering pump last winter.

Prius (2004-09) :: High Beams Went Out - Replaced Relay But Situation Persists

My high beams went out a few months ago on my 2008 prius. They told me it was the relay. I just replaced it today with a relay from advanced auto parts. My highs work now. But as of 2 hours ago I noticed my lows are no longer coming on. A few days ago I picked up the car after having aftermarket hids put in. The lows were working then highs still no. A few weeks ago I had some other relays replaced and they told me the cap was off and water got in it.

So could it be that my low relays have gone bad now too. It seems weird right when I fix my highs my lows stop working. If its possible I want to try a new relay to see if that fixes it. But I need the part number and location in the relay box. I can post a picture of the inside of my relay box, can't point to which one it is. I am sure it even has the part number on it.

Chevrolet - 1500 :: 1999 - Replaced Resistor And Relay But Blower Fan Not Working?

I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban. The blower fan for the heater/AC was only working on high so I replaced the resistor and relay at the same time. Still no change so I replaced the switch and 30 amp fuse. The first three settings worked but not the high. I checked continuity of the wires between the switch and relay and they were fine. I then thought it might be the blower fan which I replaced but still not working on high.
