How do I roll down my windows with keyless remote on 2007 Camry LE V6? Honda Accord has the press unlock twice and hold on the 2nd press. Does Camry have anything like that?

worked great the first time... then the 2nd time I tried it the passenger rear window would not roll up... 3rd time the driver passenger window would not roll up...

View 5 RepliesI just bought a 2008 Passat last week, and am still learning all the features in the car. I previously had an '05 Jetta, and I was able to remotely open all of the windows by holding the key in the unlock position.
My manual says that I can roll down all of the windows from the remote by holding the unlock key on the remote, but it doesn't work. I have even checked the settings to make sure that the "Convenience" option is set to "All" windows. Am I missing something? What do I have to do to get the windows opened / closed remotely?
I was minding my own business when my 2002 Audi A4 started acting up. All of these issues occur on an intermittent basis.
First, none of the windows roll down.
Second, the interior lights come on and stay on even when the doors are closed.
Third, the obnoxious seat belt warning beep stays on even when my seat belt is on and the doors are closed.
Fourth, the remote control will not lock the car (although the key works).
Fifth, the remote control will not unlock the trunk.
All of these seem to happen at the same time. My car is silver color.
Is there a way to mod the automatic windows up and down. What I mean is that If i arm the alarm with remote, all four windows will automatic roll up. The honda accord has the function which will roll down the windows by the remote before you enter.

View 15 RepliesI have a 2003 Camry I4. My RKE stopped working. First I checked the battery in the remote, it reads 3v like it should. I searched and found how to reprogram the the receiver, so I tried that. I did the door and key dance and got to where when you pull the key out and the door locks lock then unlock. I try pushing the lock and unlock button, then just the lock button as per the instructions and I get nothing. Supposed to get one cycle of the locks if it works and tow cycles if it doesn't. I get neither of those, nothing happens. So I buy a new remote off of eBay (brand new, never used, OEM remote). I try the reprogram door dance again and get the same results. The battery in the new one reads 3v like it should as well. So I go off to a junk yard to replace the receiver door controller, I found one and replaced it and I get the same exact results.
View 8 RepliesMy IS has the feature where I can open all of the windows and the sunroof by holding the remote unlock button which has come in real handy during this extended heat wave in the Midwest. But, I can't find out whether or not this feature is on my 2012 LS 460.

Other cars I have seen will allow you to use the remote and close all windows and moon roof. Looking at the LS460 manual it looks like the dealer can program our remote to open the windows and moon roof with the remote. But it does not say anything about closing.
Also a question on the Navigation. Can you change the default screen to the Information screen? Mine always goes straight to the map when I start up. Could not find a place to change it.

View 14 RepliesI drive a 2011 GTI. The other day I left my car parked in the sun for a while so it was all hot and stuffy inside when i came back. I rolled down all four windows and then pulled out the key after they were all the way down. Within like 3-5 sec, all four windows rolled back up by themselves.
This kinda threw me off cause I didn't expect that to happen. I tried to show my friend later to impress him but it didn't do it. So im thinking whether that was just one of those freaking moments that only happens once, or is this an actual feature that comes in the GTIs.
OK, all the cars/SUV's I have owned in the last 4 years had a great feature. If you held down the unlock button on the keyfob for a few seconds you could roll down the windows and open the sunroof.
A GREAT feature to let the heat out while you're approaching the car on a hot day or to just let fresh air on other days. Can it be done?
The windows/moonroof wont open when using the fob. I unsuccessfully tried pressing and holding multiple button combos. with every other car I've had. I just had to hold down the unlock button or press it a few time.
