Camry :: CCT Breaker Died / How To Find Which One To Replace
Feb 13, 2012
I don't have power 12V inside car, means I cant charge my phone, nor anything else. On both places, on dashboard below radio/CD and inside compartment between front seats.
I'm assuming cct breaker died and have to replace it.
I know where cct breaker panel is but how to know which one I have to replace?

While raising both front doors windows, both windows stopped moving. Checked power locks and they didn't work either. Manual said to reset circuit breaker for this problem but where it's located and the manual doesn't specify either. Just need to know where the circuit breaker for the power windows and locks is located.

I need to replace my coolant temp sensor, but can seem for find where it goes. Bentley says it's on the rear coolant line, but that eludes me as well.

Where is "Plug A" and "Plug B". Is it near the OBD port or behind the controls for the A/C, etc? I will be splicing in a URD MAF calibrator.

I am currently researching a new car to get. It will most definitely be a hot hatch of some kind. But there is one problem, the traction control and ESC cannot be disabled on the Mk6 and Mk7 GTi's. This is a huge problem for me because I plan on spending between $20k-$30k and that's a decent chunk of change so I better be having $20k-$30k amounts of fun. It's been well established in other threads that there is no way to disable the ESC without a flash or voiding the warranty (or usually both). I just want to be able to occasionally compete in autocross or handbrake turn around a corner or drift through the snow. Or even more occasionally, I like to put serving trays under the back wheels and lock the handbrake and do a little parking lot drifting. Those things are what makes FWD cars so great, and if I can't do that then I should just get a AWD car or even better a RWD car. I don't want to spend more on a new car to be able to less with it.Most of the contenders allow me to do this. FoST, FiST, Mazdaspeed 3, even the Mini Cooper S will all allow me to do this if I want to but the GTi won't as far as I know. So my question is, Will the ESC kick in and ruin my perfectly executed handbrake turn? Will the car even move if I've locked the rear wheels on serving trays? Will it automatically brake when I try to kick out the back around a snowy bend? This stuff may sound pretty trivial to be deal breakers but I really like VW's and want to get one really bad, but I am not so sure about it when they are so crippled by the nannies and may be forced to look elsewhere. Does ESC/traction control ruin a good time?

2010 Camry 4 cylinder XLE. Manual, page 385, shows reset button at glove compartment. It is not there. I'm guessing it's under the dash somewhere, where only a contortionist can see or get to it.

I recently got an iPhone 5s which I paired to my '12 SE with the premium display audio with nav & Entune head unit. When I try to enter a nav destination from my phonebook I get the message "address not found on map" for a lot of entries. I have confirmed that the addresses look OK in my contact list on the phone. The addresses that don't work are not dimmed out so the system sees them but for some reason when I go to edit them from the nav, destination, phonebook list the street name and # are not there.

My 2005 Camry LE four cylinder is past due for plug wires. I have tried Googling the correct part number for either NGK or Denso. The newest ones I can find are from 2001. What are the proper part numbers? My local parts store claims NGK and Denso does not make them for my car. I have a hard time believing they don't make plug wires for my car. If nothing else what is the correct Toyota part number?

We have an 86 Chevy Silverado C10, all of the lights work on the truck except the headlights. We have replaced the switch, it has new head lamps. We hear that there is no fuse for these lights, that there is a circuit breaker but how to locate it or if it is really the issue. How to get the lights back on?

I have an 4cyl 02 Camry LE and I'm getting an P0420 trouble code. I've changed Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor that comes off the front Cat Converter and the rear 02 Sensor that is off of the rear Cat and I'm still getting that code, so as a result I'm changing the front converter that comes off the exhaust manifold. Now my questions is:
#1. Do I have to put any type of compound or anti-sieze on the new gasket that goes over the cylinder head studs?
#2. Do I have to put any compound or anti-sieze on the O-Ring at the bottom of the front Cat. as well before I re-assemble everything?

Is there any way to replace the keyed ignition with a simple momentary switch of some sort? Or is the built in security features too intertangled in the whole design? IE I suspect I'd have to disable tronsponder, keyed ignition, security system, steering column lock, some computer features? I definitely no expert but wondering if it's possible.

I've been researching how to replace the coolant in my 2004 Camry XLE V6 1mz-fe engine with 55k miles but I need a little more information. It uses the super long life pink coolant. It says service at 100k or 10 years but I feel it is time to replace and or flush the system. I wanted to used distilled water to flush the system but I guess this won't work because the pink stuff is premixed. I would like to drain the entire cooling system and fill again with fresh toyota pink so I can leave it alone for another 5 years.
So my question is, what is the best method to service my cooling system considering I am going to use the same toyota pink coolant. If the proper way is only a drain and flush, I've heard there are two drains on the block in addition to the radiator drain on the v6 1mz-fe. Where are these block drains on the 1mz-fe and will this drain the entire cooling system?

Is there any way that i can swap or replace my 03 camry cluster gauge for an 05 camry gauge? I'm getting tired of the way the cluster gauge looks in the 03 camry. i know the odometer is not interchangeablee unless i go get it programmed by the dealer or whatever. i'm not too worried about that though. (not planning on getting rid of this car till it poops out on me). So do any parts of a 2005 Toyota Camry fit a 2003 Toyota Camry? ie: Cluster Gauge, Grille, front bumper etc.

My 1999 Camry (4 cylinder) has 97, 500 (+ or -) and back when cars had points etc. I used to do some of the work myself.
Anyway, I want to change the air filter. I did some research online which instructed me to push back the "accordian hose" connected to the air mass meter (or whatever it is called). Easy enough, however, the accordian hose is solid. It does not have the ability to flex.
