My wife's 08 Camry the other day the gauges all went crazy and the a/c stopped working. But then the problem goes away its intermittent issue.
I took it to the shop they said the ABS control module is bad.
My TPMS control module stop,working after resetting it.. Is there a way to fix it or do I need to buy a new unit.

View 2 RepliesI have a 2005 Prius Gen II with 114,000 miles on it. I was driving last week when it suddenly displayed a Christmas tree of lights that included VSC and the triangle of death....and of course the battery fan kicked into high gear.
Hooked it into a OBD II scanner:
P0A80 "Hybrid battery pack over temperature"
P3019 "battery block 7 becomes weak"
P3000 "DSL solenoid circut low"
P0300 "random misfire detected"
P000A "engine position system performance- bank 1"
Also C1241, C1242, c1249, c1259, c1310, c1357
I went ahead and cleared the codes. The angry lights went away but came back within minutes of driving. The car went into limp mode but I was able to make it home.
How to fix SES P0670?? I understand there's a whole procedure on checking fault.
P0670:GPCM Glow plug control module control line failure. Open/grounded circuit, open/shorted GPCM, failed PCM
But how did you resolve problem? replaced GPCM, found open circuit, short --if so where?-- or replaced with updated harness.
(4C3Z-12B568-AA connector upgrade kit as in picture)???
Had I to break into my gas cap, replacing the module? is it ok to buy a used one? My door locks quit working too. the same module right?

View 3 RepliesI bought a 2012 Prius C with 17,000mi on it in February this year(2015). The body control module apparently went out about a month after buying the car. The start-up screen would not say "ready" and shortly after turning the power on, the warning came on: stop the car immediately, something wrong with hybrid system, get to nearest dealer, etc.! it also appeared there were suddenly a number of other malfunctions in various systems as various warnings came up, one of which concerned the power steering.

View 1 RepliesI have a problem with the Bold-Sport camera, but am not sure if it is the radio, the camera, or even possibly a fuse. I get a fault code with vcds that says the rvc control module intermittent/no signal. Once I clear the code, and put my car in reverse with the headlights on, the camera does not work, or works for a second, and shuts off. If i turn the exterior lights off, the camera seems to function normally. As soon as I turn exterior lights back on, camera no longer displays again. I have been having some problems with the rns-510, so am assuming it could be the radio, but am not too sure. The problem I have with the radio is that sometimes not all the interior light hard buttons light up. I will post up a pic as soon as I can.
View 3 RepliesMy car was in the shop for 3 1/2 months. When it went in the power trunk worked perfectly. While it was there the comfort battery died and was replaced by the dealer. Since I got it back I've discovered that the trunk no longer functions properly. The trunk control module doesn't seem to remember the coding. Now, based on advice from VW of America, the dealer wants to replace the trunk control module and charge me approximately $750 to do so. I'm left with the question of whether the failure is coincidental and my responsibility or was inadvertently caused by the dealer through some type of voltage surge or something like that?

View 1 RepliesDo our cars have a separate cruise control Module? I drove a new 600 the other day and found that the radar (adaptive) cruise will bring the car to a full stop. My 2009 will not. It deactivates at around 25mph. I emailed another 2009 600 owner who is overseas. He said his also comes to a full stop. So I'm wondering if I can put in a new module, or an overseas module, and get the results.
View 4 Replies1991 Bonny sse. Is the BCM located under the relay panel ? The fan wire harness goes under the relays. Just need to know if it is under the hood. I have the cover off the relay panel but don't see the module. Fan will not shut off. Had to disconnect the battery cable.

Has scanned the car while had the airbag fault present and if so, is this the usual harness that needs to be changed?
Recently I've had problems with my DRL (Day time Running Lights) Control Module. When I start the car, the DRL starts to make a loud buzzing sound. When I turn on my High Beams, it stops making the noise. It sounds like there's a relay that Isn't working like its supposed to be. So, I've thought of replacing it, but I`m not sure if its the DRL that's defective or just a wiring problem...
