View 1 RepliesLooking to just take off the cap to have wrapped in vinyl. Is there a way to get the cap only without having to remove the light fixture? I was also going to take it off early and try the plasti dip with glossifier to see if i can match the gloss black vinyl on the roof to avoid seams on the shark fin.
View 14 RepliesI'm trying to remove the trunk liner on my new 2013 Camry SE to get to the brake wiring so I can install a 4-pin trailer connector for my bike rack. My bike totally block the taillights when loaded, so I need some repeaters on the rack.
I removed a half-dozen push pins. There appears to be two plastic anchor hooks, one on each side of the trunk for a cargo net or something.
In addition, I removed some push-pins from the plastic trunk threshold, but it is still attached underneath. Are there pins molded into the panel on the back side or some sort of captivating device?
Any effective way to remove scratches from BLACK plastic? (Specifically, my inner door panel which is a matte textured black plastic).
View 13 RepliesMy check engine light is on. I have a 2013 Camry LE with only 13,000 miles. I immediately checked my gas cap and found that it was extremely loose. My spouse put gas in my car a few days ago and apparently did not tighten it afterwards. I tightened the gas cap after discovering this but the check engine light did not go off. Does the light will go off eventually if the cause of was a loose gas cap? If the light isn't going to go off on its own, is there anything that I can do to reset it myself?

View 5 RepliesI bought Toyota Camry 2013 LE and couple days ago Tire Pressure Warning Light appeared!!
I checked all tires and the pressure is 35 PSI but the warning light is still on, how to turn it of or reset it?
The interior light fixture for the back seat buzzes intermittently. It only happens when the radio is on. Is this something that can be repaired easily?
View 1 Repliesi am used to changing the oil & filter in a new car after 700 miles, the thinking was the bad sand castings and after a couple hundred miles some sand and other noogies would fall out of the engine block, heads and other parts. Then begin a 3,000-3,500 miles cycle of oil & filter changes. The dealer where I bought and will have it serviced at, a large Toyota dealership in Henderson, NV., says the oil and filter in this new Camry SE V6 gets changed every 10,000 miles. I know the tolerances are much tighter in 2013 than the 60's & 70's, and this engine uses synthetic oil but that seems a long time between oil & filter changes.
View 14 RepliesI just bought HID for my fog lights. I was looking all over the internet for how to install them, but i couldn't find any. I have a 2013 Camry SE. It came with stock fog lights. Also there is a lip cover on the bottom of my bumper. I was wondering how to install HID fog lights successfully?
View 4 RepliesI have a 2013 XLE V6 and the trunk no longer sits evenly. Where the lights meet at the back of the car the trunk lights stick out about 1/2 inch further than the quarter panel lights and the gap on the right side is much bigger than the left.
I swear I have not had any accidents or issues hauling anything that would have torqued this out of whack.
When sitting around in Drive at idle, my 2013 Camry is vibrating VERY noticeably at idle when the A/C is running. Turn the A/C off and idle goes back to normal.
I don't seem to remember this last summer - is this pretty normal for the I4 models? It seems to happen when the engine is at low RPM in gear and goes away if I blip the throttle or put the car into Neutral or Park. Even more shaky in reverse.
I usually run 87 octane, but have tried a tank of 89 and 93 with much the same result, but a little more power from a stop in hot weather. This feels very unusual for a 2013 car - my old 2002 Nissan didn't seem to even notice that the A/C was on.
Just p/u '13 XLE w/I-4 and have noticed that it rolls back or forward when put into park excessively. I mentioned to Service Mgr who said it's non-changalble setting. A little miffed.
View 12 RepliesBought a 2013 Camry from local dealer last fall with just over 12k miles on it. I recently did my first oil change and there was sizable metal flakes in the oil pan. I'm not 100% positive they came out of the oil pan. I'm going to change the oil again after 5k and see what it looks like. The car is a Toyota certified vehicle.
At any rate, do you think I should take it in to Toyota and have them look at it? I just want to be covered if there is an issue with the engine later on.
"how to" on removing the rear deck of my 2013 Camry SE? I'm going to be doing some custom stereo work soon.
View 1 RepliesI just purchased a new 2013 Camry SE and I was wondering if it's possible to lower the passenger seat (no power).
My boyfriend and I are both pretty tall. I've got the driver's seat lowered as far as it will go, but the passenger seat seems really high now...
I just purchased a new 2013 Camry LE and so far I love it. One questions I have though is this: Where is the radio antenna? I have the stock radio (non-Nav, non-JBL.)
View 3 RepliesI have a 2013 Camry SE that is, out of the blue, not blowing any air from the HVAC system. I checked the 2 A/C fuses any they are ok. The lights light up on the control panel like normal and the rear window defogger works correctly, so I don't think it's the control panel. I can't find any fuses or relays relayed to the blower motor in either fuse box.
What else should I check? The car is still under warranty (for a month!) but if it's a cheap and easy fix, I'd rather save the hassle of giving it to the dealer for a day and fix it myself.
I have been reading some topics with people having issues with their Camry transmissions and torque converters. I have 15000 miles now and I'm noticing not as smooth shifts anymore from 1st to 3rd gear. It also jerks a little when you suddenly step back on the gas.
View 10 RepliesSometimes I find my 2013 Camry is not accelerating as expected and I feel the car is dragging. However, I don't see this issue always. However, it often ever now and then.
Is there any issue with the engine ?
