View 3 RepliesSo does the 2014 have the option on the radio to check the tire pressure my grandparents 2012 does but mine does not?
View 13 RepliesI have 2014 0.5 Camry with Entune Premium Audio with Nav & App Suite. The radio will not display any info from the station I'm listening to, other than the station number. I know that not all stations provide that info in their streams, but I've never found one that will show the song name, artist, etc., although the music sounds fine. Is there a fix for this?
View 5 RepliesI purchased my 2014.5 Camry about two months ago. I have the entune non-nav radio. when using the USB port for music it doesn't keep the play list when I shut the car off then restart it.
For instance I have 10 songs on the USB, when I first start the car it will start from the 1st song and display 1/10 songs. if it is playing the 3rd song and I turn the car off when I restart the car the radio will only play the 3rd song displaying 1/1 and will keep repeating the 3rd song until I go back into the menu and select a song from the list.
On albums, when I shut the car off and restart it will only show the artist which was playing when I shut the car off and will display all songs associated with the artist regardless of how many songs are on the USB.
is this normal or a setting I haven't done?
I became the owner of a used (43k) magnetic grey 2014 Camry SE I4. The radio display does not seem to know where I am touching the screen. It is indicating about 1" above my actual touch and there are functions I am unable to select because of this.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2015 XSE w/ JBL sound system. 14k miles. ALL sound from the radio (even the beep when you press the touch screen) will intermittently cut out - usually after I hit a small bump in the road. Once the sound is off it stays off for several minutes, then it might turn back on again or might stay off for the entire ride.
The dealer replaced the radio communication box - didn't fix it. Now the dealer is ordering a new radio head unit and will replace that. I'm concerned because this will be my 3rd time going to the dealer for this repair and I'm not sure they've really root caused the problem. I would have thought that the dealer would be able to track down exactly what was failing (either a system or wiring problem) before starting to attempt repairs.
I have a 2014.5 Camry. About once every month or two, when I cut the car off, the radio lights flicker for a few seconds then stops. The lights seem to flicker long enough for all of the electronics and modules to power down. I have taken it to the dealer, but since the problem cannot be duplicated, nothing has been done. Just trying to figure out what may be the cause before the car goes out of warranty.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2014 Camry SE with about 30k miles on it. Recently, I notice 2 rattles.
1) When I turn on my car, I hear a rattle/buzz sound for about 10 seconds sounds like its coming from the dash from my passenger side, then the rattle/buzz goes away.
2) There is a constant rattling noise the is coming from my driver side dashboard. I do not hear it on smooth roads but once I go through bumps or cracks on the road the rattle is noticeable and annoying. Sounds like its from the speaker by the windshield but i really cannot tell as i am trying to focus on the road. Maybe its something loose?
When I was reversing back and turning the steering wheel. I heard a metal clunk sound and it had happened twice in the past two days. Today happened after I released the parking brake and set it to reverse. What is the problem? Miles on the car is ~30700 miles.
View 2 RepliesHaving trouble with the radio in their truck? When I started my truck today my radio would not turn on, no AM/FM, CD player, Suris or Aux input. It does not matter what buttons you press. The sync will not work and none of the controls for sync.
The display said Ford Tough then the temperature was displayed, but the clock was flashing on and off. There was no pattern to the clock flashing on and off it could flash once or twice then nothing for minute or two then flashes once to 4 times then nothing. I tried a hard reset by disconnecting the battery for over 15 minutes but it made no difference.
I am looking at installing a CB in my 2012 F150. This thread isn't electronics based, there is already a sub forum for that. This thread is about radio placement. I have a 2012 f150 XLT that I special ordered... meaning I got the front buckets with the center console. I have an old SBE Sidebander IV that was my grandfather's that I am going to swing by the CB shop this week to get checked out. If everything is a go, I will go with that. So, this is a big radio fromm the 70's, not the little tiny things that are sold today.
So, whats a good location? Vertical on the front of the console maybe?
I can't find the button to reset the TPMS light on my dash. It's not even in the glove compartment.
View 7 RepliesMy HD radio signal keeps going in and out. I had my windows tinted right when i bought the car so not sure if this was issue before or not??? i did ask the tint company, Zeibart, if the tint would affect the antenna and they said not at all cuz it was not mettalic tint. I have never had an issue on any other cars with tint. could this be caused from a different issue?
View 7 RepliesI just purchased a new 2013 Camry LE and so far I love it. One questions I have though is this: Where is the radio antenna? I have the stock radio (non-Nav, non-JBL.)
View 3 RepliesI have a 2013 XLT with a sirius enabled radio. my display works (time, date, shows bluetooth connected) but no sound is coming out of the system. What this could be? i tried replacing the cd player/motherboard but that did nothing... could it be a fuse?
View 6 RepliesDisclaimer: When I refer to lights, I mean the back-lit radio controls.
Noticed they're lights flicker when they turn off the car? It doesn't happen all the time and just kinda weird.
I have a 2014.5 SE Sport and the only thing I can think of is I always have my parking lights on (cuz I turned off DRL) but they always turn off when I open my car. Each time I try to record it, it stops doing it. It usually only last for a few seconds but just thought it to be odd.
I have a 2012 Toyota Camry SE 2.5L
My radio Code : P10068
Is it possible to install a backup camera?
The other day I used the Navigation system because of a city area with a lot of one way streets. I don't used the navigation system very much. It was then that I notice that when the voice spoke, the radio, running in the background, stayed on causing an overlap.
Is there any setting I can use that would mute the radio when the Navigation voice speaks, then put the radio back on after directions have been spoken?
So I have a 2012 camry SE I4. When i backup and about to start going the steering wheel get stuck, the steering wheel light came on the dash, and the radio shut down and restart by itself. It happened really quick about 5-8s and then everything back to normal, the steering wheel light is gone as well. I doubt the electric has problem, but i am unsure.
View 9 RepliesI bought, new, a 2012 Camry back in 2012. I got the satellite radio option. The reception with satellite is horrible. On the clearest of days, I lose signal all the time making it useless trying to listen to it.
Yes, I understand vegetation can hinder reception. But, it shouldn't to this extent. Not long after I bought the Camry, I purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion. It, too, had satellite radio.
I think, in the 2 years I had the Fusion, I lost signal 2 times. On the cloudiest, foggiest, snowiest, and raniest of days, the Fusion never lost sat signal.
I had the dealer check out the system and they found nothing wrong. I've let my subscription to Sirius expire since I can't even get a decent signal. Is this typical of the satellite radio with Camry's???
Owner of a 2013 Camry, So about a year and 3 months ago my radio killed itself. I had installed front door speakers and I guess they over drove the radio's amp and it fried itself. Saw the whole works, smoke, static from speakers etc. Well in Feb of 2015 I got another radio off a junker Camry and installed my factory speakers back in and it was working wonderfully... until now.
Yesterday after work I was driving home and suddenly the audio cuts out, usually i thought it was my Galaxy Note 4 because it has issues with Bluetooth but that wasn't the case this time. No sources would play audio. The radio turns on and everything. It accepts Bluetooth connections and plays CD's but there is no audio coming out. I checked all the speakers and none of them are touching metal.
