I'm looking to hook up some led's using a fuse tap to toggle switch. I'm a little confused on the power wire from the fuse tap to the toggle switch. What type of power wire do I need and what gauge should I get? Only power wires i find have positive and negatives but hat doesnt seem right to me. Also what amp fuse should I add on to handle the led's.

View 19 RepliesI have a 2012 Accent GLS with premium package. So, this came with fog lights. Few months back, one of the fog lights got ripped of its place and the body shop said the hooks which hold the light are broken and whole bumper need to be replaced for the light to be attached and quote was given for around $750.
I contacted other small body shops to just stick the light with glue but no one accepted to do that.
I don't use those fog lights anyway. So, is it cheap in a way to remove the other fog light and just fill the fog light spots? When I say fill, I am not sure what those are called which exist in place of fog lights for a car with no fog lights. I think its better than just being with one fog light.
I have a 14.5 and my fiance drove it today and informed me that she couldn't adjust the mirrors... Thought she might be crazy, but when I went out there, sure enough, they wouldn't move. Seems like there's no power. Neither the left or right move... It was too late (and dark) to check the fuses, but there shouldn't be fuses blowing already on this car. Door locks, BSM, windows all work. Which fuse controls this or is there anything else I should check before I bring it in to Toyota?
View 12 RepliesThe first time installing my hid without a relay harness was a fail. One side keep coming on and off and I gave up went back to stock after it blew out my fuse. This time I tried using using the same kit with a relay harness and it was good for about 10-15 mins and then it starts flickering then both side went off. Pulled over and realized my fuse blew out again. I am having real bad luck with hid, or is it a bad kit?? I love hid but it's really causing me a headache. Can my 2014 Camry not handle HID or what? New kit?? Car can't handle hid?? Why does my fuse keep blowing?!! My kit is opt7 by the way.

View 8 RepliesI just had a rental for the new corolla, and noticed that the moonroof rolls out immediately after you press the button.
On my 2012 camry, i would have to hold the button for it to roll out, otherwise more often than so, i hold the button and it takes a while to act on that i press the button. (or doesn't even roll)
This would be covered under warranty right?
I have a 2015 Se. When using the air conditioner the recirculating switch indicator is always lit. Pushing the button has no effect. The light is out when using heat. Is this a defective switch?

View 9 RepliesI just recent bought a 2012 Toyota Camry LE and it seems to have had fog lights installed (not stock ,as far as my research has proven) and the LED on the switch is green and never shuts itself off. I'm not sure if this is normal. I have a decent mechanical background and never see anything other than security lights on when the key if off and out of the ignition. Seems like it may be a little wrong wiring. I checked the DIY OEM install of the fog lamps, but nothing there stood out to me as a cause for the light to remain on.

I have a 10' kayak that I slide into the trunk for a 1/2 mile drive down my private road to the dock and I'm sick of listening to that warning beep--hoping I can put tape over the switch or something to shut it up.
I have a 2014.5 Camry SE but I'm having a few issues that I'd like to address.
My issue is, when I hook up the phone to the car's bluetooth, the car does not let me switch songs or pause/play from the car's audio system, the only thing I can do from the steering wheel or audio interface is fast forward or rewind the song but not skip the track or pause.
My second issue so far is that I can't seem to find how to set the car to turn on the map lights when the doors open. I checked the manual and it tells me that there's a switch to flip, like the dome lights in the back, right next to the map lights but there is no switch and therefore no visible way to change this. I've gone through the settings of the vehicle and I've gone to the light settings but there is nothing in the settings about it.
Mine Sunroof Tilt switch acting up lately and today, it's completely dead. It doesn't want to go down anymore.

View 4 RepliesThe Up/Down switch on my 2012 Camry SE doesn't work half the time. Of course it works when opening it, but half the time won't work when closing it. I called today to order a new switch and the dealer told me they do not sell just the switch and I had to purchase the entire overhead console?
Can I purchase the switch only. Just to clarify there are 2 switches. The left switch is Open/Close and the right switch is Up/Down.
My 2015 camry front dome light switch is broken. This is the push type light. I am not sure how but today i was trying to turn the light on and noticed it wasn't turning on. When i opened the lens cover to switch the bulb i noticed the button was missing and the other side has a button. I don't understand why the light will not turn on when i open the door either. I tried sticking some thing small in to the broken part where the button used to be and it turns on if i do that, but i would have to hold it in place which is pretty inconvenient. What can i do to fix this? it seems like i have to replace the whole overhead assembly. Is there a cheap fix? i would be happy if the light comes on when i at least open the door.
View 9 RepliesWe have been having this ongoing issue with the ventilation system in our 2013 Camry XLE during cold outside temperatures since last fall.
When the system is in the auto setting and set around 70-72 deg. F, the system delivers a comfortable temperature from the floor vents or a combination of the floor vents and defrost. The temperature that I measure is usually in the 100-115 deg. F range. After about 20 - 30 minutes of driving, the system will switch on the dash vents along with the floor vents. At this time the temperature coming out of the dash vents is cold and frequently measured as low as 53 deg. F. Along with this the floor vents are still delivering warm air. Been an automatic system I would expect the supply temperature to modulate to maintain the cabin temperature to the desired setting but not in this manner. All this is on overcast very cold winter days.
I drove the vehicle the other day when the outside temp was around 12 deg. F with the sun shining resulting in a bit of a greenhouse effect inside. With the control set at 70 deg. F and in auto I noticed that the air was only coming out of the dash vents and was a bit warmer this time (about 60 deg. F). This scenario is a bit more acceptable although the floor area was cold as expected considering the cold outside temperature.
I have taken the car to our dealer who has tried to diagnose the situation and have replaced one sensor that resulted in no change. They have been in contact with Toyotas technical dept. as well for assistance. They are indicating that all the air comes from one box and it is impossible to get colder air from the dash vents. Obviously with our current situation this is not the case. The service manager at the dealer was hoping to test the operation of another similar vehicle but so far has been unsuccessful.
This has been going on since last fall after my wife complained about it and was not happening the previous winter. Presently when this situation occurs we switch the control to manual damper control to shut off the cold air blowing in our faces.
