My headlights seem to be off. The beams are spread too far apart, leaving a dark spot right in the middle. It is a 2016 and I just noticed it tonight. I have been trying to find the horizontal adjustment. Is this it? I have tried to turn it but did not notice any difference. Which way am I suppose to turn the left and right one to have the beams move closer to each other?

View 12 RepliesI just bought our 1st. Toyota 03 celica GT 5speed.113000 well cared for miles. My biggest concern is the headlight adjustment. The high beams are similar to aircraft landing lights but the low beams seem to cross with the left side too far to the center. I found the up-down adjuster (wish it had the cab operated feature) but can't find the left-right adjustment.
View 3 RepliesMy headlight aim is all out of whack, the driver side light is aiming all the way to the passenger side. I searched the forums and know where the screws are for the vertical and horizontal adjustments. Counter clockwise for making the headlights go up and you're suppose to go the same direction on the horizontal adjustment as well. But my driver side headlight is aiming so far towards the passenger side already,I need to get the horizontal adjustment back to the left, which direction to turn? Clockwise or Counter?

After driving my Dad's Santa Fe, I notice the low beam casts a U-shape light pattern on the ground, makes it extremely hard to see what's on the ground right in front of the car. I've attached a picture of what it looks like driving it at night.

View 3 RepliesI bought a used 2002 Camry (at a discounted price because of a few dings and dents) and the headlights are not working. The high beams and turn signals work but not the headlights. I changed the bulbs, checked all the fuses and got a new relay but still nothing. I brought it to an electro-mechanic and he told me the ECM was busted and that he could maybe grind it down. This seemed odd to me so I called my old mechanic in the states who said he has never heard of an ECM causing headlights not to work and suggested I install a toggle switch. Does this sound like it could work? Could I do this on my own? I'm pretty handy but am a little hesitant to try any electrical work on my car as I have no experience with electrical work.
View 3 RepliesIs there a way to adjust the windshield washer sprayers to point them up higher on the windshield. I looked today and didn't really see any way to point them up more.? Mine probably hit the bottom 1/3 of the windshield and do not do that great of a job. Maybe I'm missing something?

View 4 RepliesThe other night on my way home, I flipped on the high beams and the low beams didn't shut off. Flash to pass still works, and pushing in on the end of the stem turns the low beams off as well.
Having the column switch apart, is it possible this could be fixed without having to pull the steering wheel? Or, am I better off just spending the hundred dollars of so and putting in a new part?

View 5 RepliesI just noticed yesterday that the center console is moving a bit when I apply pressure to it. Seems like a screw or something is loose. Luckily there is no vibrating while driving yet, so it's livable for now but I would like to fix it.

It's even worse when I put my entire weight on it, like when reaching for something on the passenger side floor. I don't want to rip the entire thing out one day
I want to replace my headlight bulbs; I want to install 8000K in my low beams, and maybe 3000K in my hi beams. But all of the bulbs that I ever installed either; A the burnt out within few weeks (lost color), or B they stopped working.
Now, regular WHITE bulbs seem to work forever; but the color ones, burn out/break. Low quality?? I need a pair of very good 9006 8000K, and 9005 3000K. Again, but I don't want to change them in a week or two. I want them to last!!
P.S. 2005 Toyota Camry
Over the last two weeks I've had a couple instances where I'm moving around 30mph and I gently accelerate, you can tell that the engine/transmission is about to downshift and while pushing the accelerator just slightly you can feel the car shutter (not terribly noticeable) not accelerate as well as a noticeable amount of blue smoke will come out of the exhaust. It's happened twice now. After a few seconds the car will return to normal and the smoke stops.
Camry is a 2012 SE, 4cylinder, 31,000 miles. It's had the torque converter software update. No lights on the dash. I've also stopped after this happened and the engine sounded normal, oil level is normal.
Three days ago while stopped at a light the car creeped forward forcing me to press harder on the brake to keep vehicle from moving.
Next day drove for 100+ miles with some stop and go traffic no problems. Third day drove 50 miles and upon arriving at home brakes felt spongy and nearly hit the floor the dash illuminated "Check Brake System".
My Camry has 5437 miles on it.
The dealer just called and said they need to replace a "brake booster". They said there is a TSB that addresses this issue in a VIN range.

I'm glad I was only stopping to pull into my drive way and not the freaking stop and go freeway traffic on the way to work in the morning.
I can't figure it out to have only the fogs on without headlight. Every time fogs come on headlights must be on..

View 14 RepliesI recently bought some lamin-x tint for my headlights and fogs. I have only seen a few ppl on here tint their lights, but it was only the the tailights i have seen done on here. So I have an optic blue for the headlights and med gunsmoke for the fogs. Just came in yesterday so I will try to get them on within a week. I will post some pics to show how it looks.
