If the Iphone 5 will connect to the Entune Apps wirelessly over Bluetooth? I know it just came out, but would like to know before I preorder the phone. I'm using an Android HTC Incredible now, and after Toyota's last update, the entune apps have worked great over Bluetooth. Might go with the Galaxy S3 if the iphone still has to be tethered with a USB cable.

I have an iPhone 5c that used to be able to display mp3 playlists on Bluetooth until I upgraded to ios 9.x. But essentially same headunit on wife's 2016 Prius 2 allows me to access mp3 playlists via Bluetooth. Is there a firmware update that will let my head unit do the same?

View 13 RepliesI recently purchased a 2015 Camry XSE on November 23rd. I have the Entune Audio Plus system in my vehicle. The first thing I noticed while driving home is the music I was playing through Bluetooth was changing pitch constantly. The closest thing I can relate it to is a cassette tape being slowed down with dead batteries. It's brutal. My mom bought a 2015 Rav4 on the same day as me. For the past month I've been doing nothing but trial and error. Here is what I have come up with.
My radio while playing bluetooth skips, speeds up and down (pitch change) and gets really bad static. Also, when I use the steering wheel controls to change the song it changes the song INSTANTLY. In my mom's Rav4 and my friends 2015 Corrolla, it plays for about 1.5 seconds before changing to the next song. This is the buffer being played out. Mine doesn't create a buffer and is playing the data stream in real time. If any interference happens or the clock rates change it gets reflected in the pitch.
Now, I called Toyota and explained it to them. They had me read what audio version I had in my car. It says "0744". It listed two items, Audio and Operating System. The rep on the phone was taken back and said NOTHING was installed on that radio. What is supposed to be listed is bluetooth drivers, kernel and a couple other things. My audio version should say DU.60.74. She told me to take it to my dealer and they will update it through USB and it only takes a couple minutes.
My iPhone 6 with iOS 8.0.2 was not able to play music via Bluetooth in my 2014 Camry. After installing iOS 8.1 today, I can play music and make calls via Bluetooth. This issue was also present in my wife's 2013 Accord.
View 4 RepliesI started using the Bluetooth connection to stream pandora over using entune lately because entune seems to take forever to start up and I just start pandora with Siri and turn to the Bluetooth input on my head unit. This worked good for a few weeks and now all the sudden it doesn't have sound.. The screen shows what song is playing and I can use my steering wheel controls to skip songs and it shows the progress bar of the song duration progressing but no sound? I have not tried it thru the entune app since this started happening so I am not sure if it works that way recently(I'm usually drivig and don't want to fumble around turning on hotspot to connect to entune).
View 5 RepliesI just picked up a 2013 Camry SE with the display audio system today and I am tickled with the car so far. I paired my Iphone 5S to the car over bluetooth and the car uses the phone fine - better than fine, it's great - and the music plays, so far so good. Except I can't browse the music selections through the dashboard monitor when paired on bluetooth - those buttons are greyed out. If I use the USB cable, then I can control the music selection with the dashboard. Is this how the system is supposed to work? I have installed Entune on my phone and created an account. I have IOS6 on my phone.

View 9 RepliesI have a Prius two 2012, have been using an old iPod for music over USB, and a blackberry over bluetooth handsfree profile. blackberry phones allow you to manage which BT profiles are connected, I disabled the music over BT profile. but now I just got an iPhone 5s to replace both phone and ipod, it automatically pairs with all profiles supported by the car, no disable or selection per profile. I want to play music over USB, not BT, the quality is better.
But the iPhone doesn't support both, if BT music is enabled, then that is where it goes. i have not found a way to disable the BT music. I confirmed with Apple tech support, they say the car side decides what services to pair with the phone, the iPhone just slavishly does what it is told with no user control options. Looking then at option control on the radio side, i have looked at the radio BT setups, there is no option i can find to select which profiles to automatically connect. How to configure the BT settings so the iPhone is registered only for handsfree and not BT music? Pls note that have only the basic display audio...
Have a problem connecting internet with entune? i linked my phone and account and have my music in my car and my contacts but every time i try to link the internet it keeps saying connection failed.

View 3 RepliesMy dad just purchased a 2010 Toyota Camry and once we paired my iPhone 4 to the Bluetooth system, the speech command system stopped working.
Did something go wrong during the process? The bluetooth system is working perfectly fine as in the music will play as well as receiving phone calls. However, when I want to pair a second phone to the system, the speech command system wont work and it would just take the screen to the start with it saying "welcome". Normally, it would take you to the setup of pairing a phone, but this time it takes me back to the "welcome" part when you start the car.
I just got a 2015 Camry SE and I believe it did not come with Enture. Is it possible to install it on the current head unit or would i have to update the head unit ? also what would happen if i tried.
View 2 RepliesI have noticed that some albums/songs are not being detected by the Entune player that are on the USB drive. I verified that the albums/songs are on the drive. I noticed that it reads MP3 files fine but not MPEG-4 files. One would think the player will recognize the common file types.

View 12 RepliesI purchased my 2014.5 Camry about two months ago. I have the entune non-nav radio. when using the USB port for music it doesn't keep the play list when I shut the car off then restart it.
For instance I have 10 songs on the USB, when I first start the car it will start from the 1st song and display 1/10 songs. if it is playing the 3rd song and I turn the car off when I restart the car the radio will only play the 3rd song displaying 1/1 and will keep repeating the 3rd song until I go back into the menu and select a song from the list.
On albums, when I shut the car off and restart it will only show the artist which was playing when I shut the car off and will display all songs associated with the artist regardless of how many songs are on the USB.
is this normal or a setting I haven't done?
I had a 2002 LE and 2007 LE previously, but just purchased a 2014.5 SE I4 with navigation.
I'm not a basshead or audiophile in my old age, but certainly feel like a lot is missing without a sub. I've used the same ol' 100w 8" Bazooka tube I've had for years in the last two Camrys, but left the wiring harness in the 2007 when I traded it in out of convenience. I know Bazooka Tubes get a lot of hate, but they work well for what I want anymore; I'd like to add the sub to the SE, but I'm not entirely sure the connection will be same.
Has the speaker connector on the radio changed at all in the newer model years? Will it still be a simple plug & play using the Bazooka FAST Toyota harness and extension cable?

I just traded my 2012 SE for a 2015 XSE. It seems that after taking the system through the 'voice training' on the NAV/Entune system, voice recognition is terrible, getting most everything wrong. Is there a way to 'un-train' it? The manual does not cover anything like this.
