Can change the order of the "Source" on the display? I very rarely use AM. I have to either press the arrow or view all options to see the "BT" option. I would like FM, BT, and Ipod to be the first options I see, when pressing the Source option.
View 2 RepliesI just purchased a 2012 Camry, unfortunately the radio is the stock display audio unit, without navigation, satellite radio capability or Entune. Is it possible to upgrade these components and have them installed or would I need to replace the entire unit?
View 1 RepliesI had the basic Entune radio but recently upgraded to the Entune Audio Plus with navigation after talking with a tech at the dealership. I unfortunately don't have the audio tab at all, how to add it to my display. No one at the dealership knows how and they referred me to Toyota Corporate about my situation. Any button sequence that can add or delete tabs on the display?

On our old Prius, the display would simply change back to the map view after ~5-10 seconds. The new car does not seem to do this. No luck searching the manuals or the Internet. Is it possible?
I just purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry SE, 4-cyl, with the touch screen that indicates tire pressure. However, the indicators simply show a row of tires, not matching them to wheel locations. I looked it up in the manual and it was silent on this question. What is the "order" assigned to this single row of four tires? Seems odd that the manufacturer would go this far but not label or "map" the tires.
View 14 RepliesToday morning, when I started the car and backed out of the garage, the rear view camera display was not lit-up. Normally as I get out of the garage, it senses the change in outside lighting & changes the brightness of the display automatically.
After backing up, I put the car on Drive and then on Park, but the display was totally blank. No audio nor response by touching any buttons. Then I turned off the car & restarted it.
Then the display came up, but with this weird looking screen, which I have never seen before in the 5 months that I have owned this car..
It lasted for about 30-40 secs, with the progress bar moving all the way across. Then everything was back to normal!.
With the Display Audio Navigation system in my plugin base, I find that the traffic colors on the map don't appear automatically. Instead, I need to force the car to make a data connection by starting some other app. I use weather for this. Once I've started weather, I can switch back to map and immediately see the traffic-indication colors. If I just leave the display on map, traffic colors will not appear even after 20+ minutes of driving over the same route, so it's not a signal-strength/coverage problem. I've repeated these experiments numerous times with the same results.
View 4 RepliesJust got my new 2012 GTI with touchscreen radio, I think it's the RCD-510. I've noticed with my iPod plugged into the MDI, all of a sudden, i can't actually browse by artist or album. I was able to browse by artist a few days ago when I first got it (I know this because I was putting on some beastie boys in honor of MCD passing), but as of yesterday when I try to browse by artist or album, instead of getting the list of artists or albums to select, the radio just goes back to the screen that shows whatever song is currently playing.
For some reason, I'm able to browse by playlist and song, but to by artist or album. I've tried unplugging the iPod (it's an iPod touch) to no avail.
I had a 2012 Camry but has not found the TPM display on it. It has fuel info and trip history when push the CAR button. I thought it should be there. How do I locate or set it up? Or it is not standard on LE?
View 4 RepliesI drove this Elantra on a substantive test ride myself and initially as passenger. In twiddling with the interior with radio off and engine off, I have noticed an audible hum from the electronics. The hum disappears when the key is turned off.
This is not a loud hum but it is noticeable to me. I think it is normally masked by the air circulation/heat or use of the radio. Is such a thing covered by warrantys? Everything works in the car so I don't know how to describe the complaint to service especially since they might not hear it.
When I use my iPod Touch in my 2010 Prius IV via USB it works great -- the song, album and artist names are all displayed properly on the Nav screen and it sounds great. But the tracks on the albums are listed and played in alphabetical order rather than the order that they appear on the album. For many albums, tracks are in context with adjacent tracks -- playing them in alphabetical order messes up that context.

Now my front 4 speakers work but not my rear. I bought the amplifier one because the plug fits my camry as the other non JBL one doesn't and I have no clue if I have JBL or not. Now according to the instruction for the harness [URL] .... the green and purple rca cable is for the rear 2 speakers so what do I do?
Can Display Audio's phone interface accept pauses or waits (P or W) in the phone number? My phone uses them for voicemail passwords, eg dial the number, pause a few seconds, and then dial the password. So far it does not work at all through the bluetooth interface when initiated through voice command ("call xxx xxx xxxx pp yyyy#") or through the car's screen. I tried to directly store a similar number into the Display Audio "stored" numbers but could not find an option for the P pause.
View 6 RepliesSometimes in the bright sunlight, I cannot see the audio display or the small AC display that shows which vents the air is coming out from. Is there any way to illuminate these displays? Will some LEDs around them work or make it worse? I'm driving a C two. I have no intention of upgrading to an aftermarket sound system; I just want a simple inexpensive way to see the info on the screen.
View 3 RepliesJust installed my new fogs in my 2012 LE and the install went GREAT! The switch has an LED in it to illuminate it AND one that comes on when you turn fogs on. What circuit I could tap into to dim that led? In lieu of that can you just put a resistor in the circuit to permanently dim it? I have the factory Wire diagram, so I will look for a light that is dimmed with the dash lights.
View 4 RepliesThe MPG display on my new 2014 Camry XLE displays 1.5mpg higher than actual MPG. This is based on the first 9 tanks (Toyota Dealer reset the trip mileage during tire rotation). Mostly highway type of driving (backroads of the desert).
Note that the next three tanks-fulls the MPG display accuracy is better. Maybe the display is more accurate once the car get broken-in.

I was in my friends' new Corolla and Tacoma (both with the Entune Plus) and noticed right away that their backup camera image was much clearer than my 2014.5 SE with the base Entune Audio.
So I went to the Toyota Camry site and look at the current specs,
LE,SE standard
(6.1-in. touch-screen display)
XSE,XLE standard
(7-in. high resolution touch-screen display)
So I am wondering, has the XLE always had the high resolution display since 2012?
I am guessing the only cheap upgrade option is buying used display units to swap out. Does the rear camera need upgrading also?
I have a 2015 Toyota Camry XLE. When I click on the weather icon on the touchscreen it says HD signal not available. What am I doing wrong?
View 5 RepliesJust got a 2012 c3, and I'm trying to get my iPod Nano (4th gen) to show up on the display as an iPod, controllable from the steering wheel and display. The manual says this iPod model is compatible. The iPod software is up to date.
If I plug my iPod into the AUX with a standard audio cable, it plays over the speakers fine but the display shows only "aux" and has no controls for it. If I plug it into the USB with an Apple cable, it doesn't plays over the speakers at all, and the USB doesn't show up as active on the display -- it's grayed out. I tested the cable elsewhere and confirmed it's fine.
The display says "check charging system" only when I turn the key to on position. Is this normal?
2015 Camry XLE
I became the owner of a used (43k) magnetic grey 2014 Camry SE I4. The radio display does not seem to know where I am touching the screen. It is indicating about 1" above my actual touch and there are functions I am unable to select because of this.
