I have a 2012 Camry SE and lately on low throttle the car vibrates or shudders like if in driving thru a rough road and tires are good used a different set and still the same result.

Car Shudders / Vibrates when AC is on and in Gear (seems OK in Park). It doesn't seem to Idle up when the compressor engages......everything works fine......just vibrates a lot more than it used to.
2009 Camry 4Cyl. This is my 5th Toyota and it is the biggest POS compared to all my others. Been very disappointed in this ride.
I have a 2009 Camry which has the well known very bad vibration at idle when in drive at a light. My Ultragauge shows the RPM are very low when it vibrates. Sometimes it drops to around 425-450 rpm when at a stop light in drive (automatic car). Then it sometimes moves up to around 625-675 rpm and that is when the vibration completely disappears and it is nice and smooth. This issue is intermittent but happens everyday.
Most people think it is due to a bad engine mount and spend money doing that and get no results.
I have done a lot of research and feel it is due to a dirty throttle body and IAC valve and want to test my theory. I will post results once I do the job. What is the easiest and most thorough way to clean both?
I've had my camry SE special edition model since november of 2015. I have noticed that on a few occasions(less than 10) that when stopped the rpm's drop and it shudders for about 2-4 seconds then the rpm's rise again and its good.
View 4 RepliesI've noticed something weird with my 14.5. Over the last two days it's making a clunking noise and the car shudders going from neutral to reverse. I never noticed it before on this car and certainly not on my 2012. I'm not on a hill, revving it, or anything, foot is firmly on the brake. I first noticed it going from drive to park, felt it, and was able to repeat it sitting there by going from neutral to reverse.
The other oddity I noticed is the car sometimes rocks forward once I put it in park and took my foot off the brake, even with the parking brake on, but it doesn't do that all the time either, grade doesn't matter. The parking brake works fine, it holds the car in place in neutral on a slight incline, and I felt it when I backed the car up with the brake on a month ago.
Didn't think to mention this at my appointment the other day but now that it's acting odd going from N to R I'm wondering if I should have. This transmission seems to shift better though overall then my last one (little smoother, quicker) so I'm hesitant to have them start messing with fluid levels or anything.
Camry Vibrating and Hesitating. A couple people told me it was probably the tires and that only expertly balanced michelins will fix this. I would like to do it myself.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2007 Honda CRV AWD. The car studders/vibrates, as if driving over metal grates. Or like going over grooves in the road when moving over to the shoulder. This only happens when driving 50 mph or less. When I take my foot off the gas petal, the vibration stops, but will come back.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2004 Malibu Classic well maintained 2.2 L engine 20k miles. When the engine is warm in drive at idle, the engine shudders vibrates the dash and steering wheel. It idles smooth when cold. In drive it settles to a base idle about 575-600 RPM. When I raise the RPM with the peddle just a bit maybe 50 RPM it idles perfect. Otherwise the engine runs perfect, air cleaner and plugs are like new. Is there any way to adjust the idle up or identify what sensor controls the idle?
View 2 RepliesSo I finally reached what I considered my break in period at 800 miles and now when I give the car full throttle, it shudders like it's going to stall. I can go as fast as I want at any RPMs but when I give it full throttle it nearly goes into a stall til I let off.
I do have APR STG1 and it is in the correct setting (93 OCT) I tried putting it to stock & running it like that on my drive home & still no go, check engine light is still on.
I have a 2012 Camnry I4 and want to clean the throttle body.
Is this throtte the type that I can manualy open valve by hand without damage, or does the pedal need to be pushed to open, to prevent computer or throttle timing issues?
Have a 2012 Camry 4cyl. LE, auto trans. This is especially noticeable when making right turns on city streets, and occasionally on left turns. When trying to accelerate back up to speed, it takes a second or two to begin to speed up, sometimes shifting down and then accelerating. What possible causes for this strange phenomenon? Just after buying it (used, very low mileage, 4000miles). I took it to the dealer, they said that that is normal.

View 5 RepliesI have the SE model and the only button i have is the traction control on/off button. I looked through the menu in the gauge cluster and I come across a "Eco mode indicator" on/off option. I turned it on and now the eco mode light engages when i drive.... I also noticed that the throttle response has been way numbed down and changes gears late. So basically the "indicator light" options is ACTUALLY the "eco mode".... why don't we have a button for this?
View 9 RepliesMy truck (02 7.3L cc) started making a grilled ding type of vibration when I would let if the throttle. I felt the axle going into the rear differential was a bit loose, so I took the cover plate off. The pictures below show where the pinion I think is hitting, sort of like the bearing is allowing front to Rear differential scaring from movement. Rear movement.
How difficult is a rebuild, and is there anything I should be careful of?
After the car has been sitting for a while (say about 8 hours or so) I will turn the car on and I will always wait about 30 seconds or so before moving off just to let the oil start moving around. If I go to take off the engine shudders and sounds like its about to stall and the engine revs drop to almost around 300-400 revs then suddenly come back up.
Now I drive a manual car and I know there will be people there that will say I obviously cant use the clutch very well. This happens from anywhere from a flat to a decent incline in rain or sunshine, night and day, and all different external temperatures.
But that isn't all, the kicker is if I give the throttle a quick jab to bring the revs to around 1200-1500 revs, go to take off and the car is fine. ONLY happens once after sitting around for a while, basically after the engine has a good time to cool off to completely cold. Little side note, this has been getting more frequent over the last 3 months.
2012 6.7l CC SB SRW 4x4.
Truck has 9700 miles on it, bought it in December of 2012. Twice in the last week, when at about 60 mph on a flat road, maintaining speed with virtually no wind, there is a slow, gradual shudder from the rear wheels. Both times the truck has been on cruise control and if I add power, the truck does not accelerate and the shudder continues to increase. If pull power either by brake or canceling cruise, it stops and the truck performs as expected.
I have yet to have the time to reproduce this. My only hope is if the dealer is already aware. I plan on trying to reproduce it at some point with hopes of having something tangible for the dealer.
A lot of sections of the highway I frequently use is now repaved. Even on smooth looking highway sections, I feel vibration (bumping feel) from the seat and/or floor (also a little from steering). My hip and/or legs feel vibration.
I road force balanced wheels once, and then ordinarily balanced once again. I still feel vibration. I drove the same highway with 2012 Hyundai Veloster and 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback. With those cars, the drive is smooth (no vibration) on smooth looking highway.
2012 Golf TDI is my first car with sports suspension.
I have vibration in my 2012 Golf R at highway speeds. I noticed it right when I drove it off the lot. First I thought it's because the tires had a flat spot from the car sitting a few months on the lot, but it persisted.
The steering wheel vibrates very slightly and I can see the front passenger seat vibrating as well. I know it's not normal. I checked my tire pressures and they are all at 41psi as per the door sticker.
Messed up factory rim/tire balance in the R? How about hub or driveshaft imbalance?

View 4 RepliesI remember the days when we experienced flat spots on our tires. I have been told by several dealers that it no longer occurs. well then there is something else wrong then. Starting the day for about 15 miles the front end shakes-sometimes violently. after 15 miles or so then things are ok. the dealer cannot reproduce the problem. he is 25 miles away.. i have 30 thousand miles on the tires-they are original..need an answer-really don't weant to buy new tires..my car is a 2012 Hyundai santé fe
View 3 RepliesSo, just bought new se and the engine seems to shake randomly. It's most noticeable while standing. When I say shake, sometimes it feels like the rpms drop to not quite but almost seem to stall. The rpms don't actually drop the needle is steady as can be.
