So my 2012 camry with the touchscreen head unit connects to my phone just fine. It streams my music just fine as well. I however hate my phone calls, texts, etc coming through the car. After my phone connects to the car, I can go to the bluetooth menu and tell it to disconnect for phone and that takes care of it for that drive. But every time I get in the car I have to break that connection.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2016 XLE with the head unit that has nav but is not the premium JBL. My wife and I both use our phones in the car. We both have Samsung Galaxy S5 phones. I have the Entune app on my phone. My phone sounds great when I use the hands free talking. When my wife calls me from the car her phone sounds horrible. Two identical phones and one sounds great and the other horrible. Is there a fix for this problem?
View 9 RepliesI have a 2007 RX 350. I just recently started using bluetooth. It was working well and then all of a sudden I have an issue after a call. I hang up my phone, but the screen still shows that it is talking; although, no call is being made. I have to stop and start car to get it to clear, so I can start again. However, it will only work once and then it still won't hang up.
View 12 RepliesI have a 2013 Camry XLE with navigation. About 6 months ago I got an LG G3 phone which I was able to pair with the bluetooth and everything worked fine until recently. I can make out going calls with no problem but when I have an incoming call the system won't pick up the call. When I use the answer call button on the steering wheel or on the nav screen the phone stops ringing but I can't hear the person on the other end and they can't hear me. I have removed and added the phone several times and every once in a while it will work but then it stops again.

View 2 RepliesI all of a sudden starting having problem with my Bluetooth connection. I have an iPhone 6s (since September). It has latest operating system.
Now whenever I receive a text or notification on my phone it connects the Bluetooth. It shouldn't at all with app notifications. It then does release the connection.
Nav screen says call in progress. Hanging up phone from steering wheel does nothing. I must turn off Bluetooth on phone to release "the call" and listen to the radio.
2012 Camry LE. When I am already talking to someone using the Bluetooth and another call comes in, I get a Caller ID pop-up on the screen along with a green phone and a red phone. Neither button does anything. There doesn't seem to be any way to switch to the second call. I can't even end the first call. It's as if that second call has disabled all functionality of the screen and steering wheel buttons.
View 12 RepliesI bought brand new 2013 Camry SE yesterday night..it has been just 15 hours since I bought it..today morning when I tried to pair my phone with car multimedia system...it showed the screen that it is connecting and the little circle on the top right was moving in circle as if it was trying to connect and all of a sudden it just got hang up...right there....its not going any where...now.
Is there a way to reboot this multimedia system (just like you can reboot computer or phone)..??
I tried turning car on-off...tried setup -default on bluetooth settings etc...but no luck.
After about a min once bluetooth connects it fails. In setup under bluetooth it says it's off and pushing it does nothing. My phone shows bluetooth on and still paired. If I was talking to someone call does not get dropped but I have to pick up my phone and turn off bluetooth so I can hear them on phone speaker.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2015 Plug in Prius and a Samsung Galaxy S5. I am having terrible bluetooth issues. It connects fine then after a minute or two the bluetooth on the cars gets turned off. I can turn of engine and turn it back on and it connects again for couple of minutes after that the bluetooth on prius shows turned off. It is terrible.

Can't and don't want to load them all. I can't figure out how to load or create a contact without using my bluetooth phone.
View 1 RepliesSo my girlfriend got a 2015 IS250 and for some reason, her phone call history is not transferring correctly. When I connect my iPhone 6 (Verizon), the phone call history transfers correctly. When she connects her iPhone 6 (AT&T), all the numbers and names transfer distorted. Both of our phone call histories work perfectly on my 2014 IS250.

View 4 RepliesI noticed that when I use google map turn by turn directions, the audio comes through as a phone call. When I rent cars that have bluetooth settings, the directions just comes through over the speaker not as a phone call. I have an iPhone 6 and the latest IOS.
View 1 RepliesI recently bought a 2014 Prius v, and I love most things about it, but so far I absolutely despise the way the audio system interacts with my iPhone 4S.
-If I plug the phone into the USB to charge it, the phone speakers will get silenced, and all audio will get sent to the car speakers. This happens even if the car speakers are off, and in that case the phone just goes totally silent. This would not be such a big deal except...
-The car often decides that I am on a call, when I am not on a call, and I am depending on the phone for Google Maps turn by turn voice directions. The screen on the car shows me as being in a call and silences the phone's audio. Occasionally it will play a brief bit of audio that sounds like it was recorded from within the car. If I push the button to hang up on the call nothing happens, and I just have to find my way to my destination without any directions. Or if I have enough battery I can disconnect the USB cable and get there using voice directions played on the phone speaker.
-The same issue sometimes interrupts audio playback when streaming audio from the phone.
-If I answer a call while I have audio playing, the audio keeps playing, and there's no apparent way to turn it off using the car controls. The car's next song and previous song buttons quit working too, so I'm at the mercy of whatever was on the playlist.
-I have to turn the volume up incredibly high to hear people who call me. When I end the call, the car suddenly starts playing a song from my iTunes music at deafening volume, even if I was not playing music before the call started.
I've looked through all the settings on both the phone and the car and can't seem to find anything. My phone is connected to the Bluetooth system and I am able to use it fine. Only issue I have is that when I get in the car my phone automatically turns to vibrate mode if I get a call or text even though I have it set to "Loud". This is fine for a call because the radio will stop and the ringing notification turns on but not fine for when I am receiving a text. I do not hear the vibration and no sound comes from the car to notify me on an incoming text. Can this be changed to have the phone make normal notification noises even though I am in the car?

Car: 2013 Prius v Three
Symptom: Bluetooth connects and works but then stops after a couple minutes. The Bluetooth Settings screen indicates "Bluetooth Off" at this point but will not turn back on if I press the button that should toggle it. All other options on the settings screen are dimmed out.
All of a sudden, when I answer a bluetooth phone call, the phone call screen comes up but
1) Whatever was playing on my stereo doesn't stop and
2) Neither I nor the person calling can hear each other and the phone call ends.
What to do? I tried unpairing and re-pairing my phone and that did not work.
Basically, with my phone paired to my entune system via bluetooth, at times, the system doesn't understand how I'm asking to make a call, especially with people I call on a normal basis (like my fiance). for example, I'll say, "Call [Bob Harper]" and then it'll ask me which of the following did I mean to say. One possible name it'll bring for would be "[Joe Smith]" which sounds nothing like the name I told to call. I understand voice dialing isn't perfect, but most of the time, it's not dialing the person I want to call. Maybe it's the way I'm speaking into the mic.
