I have a 2014 Camry LE with 16 inch steelies, and have found a set of 2013 Avalon 17 inch wheels/tires on CL. Have a few questions :
1) Will the Avalon 17 inch wheels fit my camry?
2) Can the current lug nuts be reused, or do I need to get new lugs?
3) Can the current TPMS sensors be transferred to the Avalon set
Does the 2008 Avalon 17" wheels fit on a 2011 Toyota Camry SE V6? I called the dealer and he could tell me unless I had both VIN Numbers.

View 1 RepliesWhat is the maximum safe tire pressure with 19" wheels? I don't mean cold pressure. I mean maximum pressure. My rears showed 50psi on the TPMS after 20 min of driving. When I got home and measured them, they were 50.5/50psi. It's been roughly 110 degrees over the past week. It is impossible to get a true cold tire reading because it doesn't go below 85 degrees these days. So... am I well inside a safe zone at 50?

The rotors are the same size as the IS350 which comes with 17-inch, but the calipers are different, just curious if it's ever been done. I know most people go up in size, but maybe someone has done it for winter tires or something.

Currently I've got the 18" from the Gen 2.. which is 17x7 +35 114.3PCD.
Do you reckon it'll clear.. I'm guessing it'll be okay, how about caliper clearance?
Installed 20x8.5 inch wheels/tires on 2011 Avalon Limited...tires are 245/35/20. I'm getting some rubbing when the car is loaded down and hitting bumps or too quick off the line. Car is white and I'm getting a little white paint on the outer wall of the back tires. Will rolling the quarter panels prevent rubbing or is this a too aggressive fitment?
View 9 Repliesnoticed at 8k miles i started getting a vibration from the front wheels on my new camry [2014]. feels like typical warped rotor. i could understand if the car were being driven hard but its not. now at 8.5k the vibration is getting worse. Who manufactures a good quality drilled and slotted rotor ? also the dipstick tube at the block [4cyl] is leaking oil. has been repaired by toyota twice already and leaking again.
View 10 RepliesI bought and installed stock g37 wheels today and I get vibration at around 50mph+ ! Could this mean i need hub ring adapters?? I believe the offset is 45 on the new rims. They are 18s.
View 3 RepliesI just bought it a month ago & after driving it for longer than a test drive, have noticed the rear wheels chatter & skid a bit when going around corners. It also leans heavily when cornering. I bought it used, with 25,000 miles on it. This is my 3rd Camry & I've loved them all. I never had any problems with their handling until the struts wore out around 100,000+ miles. Replacement struts fixed those. I do not drive it like it's a race car, the loss of traction, followed by fishtailing has happened below the speed limit & sometimes as low as 20 mph. I drive it on the same roads as my other 2 Camrys.
View 14 RepliesHave a 2008 F-350 crew cab 4x4 lariat with 20" wheels on it. Tire size is very limited/expensive. Can I replace the 20" wheels with 18" or 17"? I was told it depends on the size of the brakes. How do I check that, short of buying "test" wheels? I am old school and would rather have more tire and less rim, than the other way around.
