2014 Camry XLE. When you press the close button, sometimes the sunroof will make it about halfway and then go back open. However, if you press the close button quickly several times and sort of shimmy the sunroof closed, it will close. Nothing is obstructing it.
View 3 RepliesWe have had the 2014 Camry SE for 3 months, 2000 miles, (we also have a 2005 Camry LE) and our first interstate trip is when we noticed it. When we get close to 70 mph and above we hear it. Sounds like some maybe flapping/rubbing? No really metal sounding, maybe plastic? I have checked under the car, do not see anything loose. We first thought it was coming from the storage area in between the seat, but we took everything out and the noise continued. Dead center under the car it sounds like. It does it every time, the same sound.

View 14 RepliesSo my friend was driving her car and the sunroof won't close. When it gets to the end of the track, it opens itself back up again. We found a piece sitting on the right-hand track but don't see anyplace where it would fit. It's Saturday pm on a holiday weekend and no place is open.

I have a 2003 Camry. Today when I got home I tried to close the sunroof from the tilted position. It began to continuously open and close nonstop. How to get it to close until I can take it to the dealership? The only way it stopped is after I turned the car off and now its halfway open.

View 6 RepliesIt seems that many 2012/2013 Camry owner with sunroof has popping sound issue. Based on reading threads that are already out there it either happens right away or after 10,000+ miles of ownership when outdoor temp gets cold or driving over a bump. What is not clear is, too me, if this issue happens to majority of Camry owner with sunroof or minority. I for one own a 2013 Camry with sunroof with almost 3000 miles on it but I do not have this issue. Was wondering if Camry owner with sunroof can chime here whether or you have this issue and how many miles you have on the vehicle. What percentage of Camry with sunroof are having this issue.

Does the ASI-44420 broken sunroof track TSB apply to 2012 F150? I see a lot of complaints from 2011 & 2012 users online, however having trouble locating a TSB. The fix for 2009-2015 is the same, so my initial thought was the TSB should cover all those years as well.
Mine Sunroof Tilt switch acting up lately and today, it's completely dead. It doesn't want to go down anymore.
View 14 RepliesI have heard that there is a way to program the FOB so that when you hold down the UNLOCK key for a few seconds the windows and sunroof opens.
is there a way to program this ourselves? Or is this only available at the dealer, and if so, will there be a cost associated with it?
I've taken my Camry in several times (service and warranty issues). One of the issues was a squeaking noise coming from the sunroof area. It was driving me crazy especially with the weather changing it was a lot more noticeable. I took it in and they said they fixed the problem by adding insulation to the roof. Well, the noise was still there. I took it again today and the Master Technician came out and wanted me to show him what I was talking about.
We went for a short ride around the dealer parking lot. He heard the noise and told me to drive to the detailing area. He then proceeded to get a paper towel with some cleaner and wiped the metal opening around the sunroof area and the black seal on the sunroof. He then got another paper towel and put some sort of lubricant and voila the squeaking noise is gone! I keep my car very clean and wipe down the sunroof area every time I wash my car. He said to go ahead and put some type of protectant (Meguiars) so it keeps the rubber moist.
I thought it was something serious with my sunroof turned out to be a very simple applying of protectant to a piece of rubber.
Toyota camry SE 2012. The sunroof is stuck on the open position. It is fully open and the motor does not make any noise. The fuse is ok. Nothing seems stuck on the track just from a quick glance. I am hoping to find a way to manually close it if it is possible.
View 2 RepliesI first noticed that the sunroof was making scratching noises when I opened and closed it then finally noticed the plastic on one side had just fallen out. I put it back, but it just eventually falls out again.
5 pictures included. Two show the plastic completely out. The other 3 show how it usually is with most of the plastic in the center attached, but the edges hanging out a bit.

Drove my 2004 Volvo S60 today and open the sunroof this morning. I made 4 stops and shut the car off but let the sunroof open because it was a nice day and did not lock it since I was as buddies house and we were outside. Drove back home about 12 miles and parked the car and before I hout the engine down I tried to close the sunroof and nothing. Checked fuse 34 (15 amp) and replaced it and still nothing.

They are set on Auto and I set the setting to the far right + setting.
My question is this the right way to get them to come on quicker in the fog and rain?
My 14' SE i4 locks when the trunk is left open for about a minute. To make things a little more confusing is that the car does not auto lock if the trunk is closed, I know this because when I get to work I never lock my doors. The first time the car locked with the trunk open I thought I must have accidentally hit the lock button on the key, but I have tested this with the key left in the house.
