I became the owner of a used (43k) magnetic grey 2014 Camry SE I4. The radio display does not seem to know where I am touching the screen. It is indicating about 1" above my actual touch and there are functions I am unable to select because of this.

View 3 RepliesToday morning, when I started the car and backed out of the garage, the rear view camera display was not lit-up. Normally as I get out of the garage, it senses the change in outside lighting & changes the brightness of the display automatically.
After backing up, I put the car on Drive and then on Park, but the display was totally blank. No audio nor response by touching any buttons. Then I turned off the car & restarted it.
Then the display came up, but with this weird looking screen, which I have never seen before in the 5 months that I have owned this car..
It lasted for about 30-40 secs, with the progress bar moving all the way across. Then everything was back to normal!.
The MPG display on my new 2014 Camry XLE displays 1.5mpg higher than actual MPG. This is based on the first 9 tanks (Toyota Dealer reset the trip mileage during tire rotation). Mostly highway type of driving (backroads of the desert).
Note that the next three tanks-fulls the MPG display accuracy is better. Maybe the display is more accurate once the car get broken-in.

I've recently upgraded my wife's car to a 2014 Camry; Our problem comes with the touch display; since this was her car, she sat with the guy at the dealer while they showed her all of the cool touch functions, while I was outside and talking with my brother-in-law. She swears they showed her a function on the display that would show her the distance until the gas tank was empty, but she was unable to find it afterwards, when the low gas level light came on. I've read the manual, and poked and prodded the display trying to find it myself, but I've had no luck either.
How to find the "distance until empty" function on the display? Is there a tutorial available on how to use the display from Toyota? I'm sure there must be one, but I haven't been able to find it.
Tried all I can think of, everything functions but no sound.

View 13 RepliesI have 2014 0.5 Camry with Entune Premium Audio with Nav & App Suite. The radio will not display any info from the station I'm listening to, other than the station number. I know that not all stations provide that info in their streams, but I've never found one that will show the song name, artist, etc., although the music sounds fine. Is there a fix for this?
View 5 RepliesI purchased my 2014.5 Camry about two months ago. I have the entune non-nav radio. when using the USB port for music it doesn't keep the play list when I shut the car off then restart it.
For instance I have 10 songs on the USB, when I first start the car it will start from the 1st song and display 1/10 songs. if it is playing the 3rd song and I turn the car off when I restart the car the radio will only play the 3rd song displaying 1/1 and will keep repeating the 3rd song until I go back into the menu and select a song from the list.
On albums, when I shut the car off and restart it will only show the artist which was playing when I shut the car off and will display all songs associated with the artist regardless of how many songs are on the USB.
is this normal or a setting I haven't done?
I have a 2014.5 Camry. About once every month or two, when I cut the car off, the radio lights flicker for a few seconds then stops. The lights seem to flicker long enough for all of the electronics and modules to power down. I have taken it to the dealer, but since the problem cannot be duplicated, nothing has been done. Just trying to figure out what may be the cause before the car goes out of warranty.
View 3 RepliesThis a second time I am unable to turn the ignition key to start up the car. Eventually I was able to do so by exiting and entering the car, but I did not realize what is causing this type of event. Is this a feature of this car so that it is hard to be stolen? Is there anything in the owner's manual explaining what I did or didn't do to cause this problem? I spent about 15 minutes until I was finally able to start the car (using the key), but I want to avoid this issue again.
View 14 RepliesOn our 2012 Sonata all stock, the radio display screen is far dimmer than the rest of the lighting. When putting the lighting at a safe level for night time driving (ie not blinding), the display screen is far too dim. In order to see it, the dash lights need to be almost all up.
Any way to adjust? BTW, the radio knobs and preset lights are fine. It is only the diplay screen. This is NOT an issue on our 2012 Tucson. That one works perfectly. I flipped through all the obvious controls and found nothing
In the past month, I had to use my "cruise control" a few times, and I had the bad experience that sometimes it works as it is intended to do, but other times I am unable set it after I turn on the cruise control; thus, it works on and off.
View 14 RepliesI've got a 2012 F250 XLT with AM/FM/CD/AUX radio, and the display is not working. The radio functions fine, as do all other electronics on the truck, but the display is dark. I've tried pulling Fuse #29 in the passenger kick panel, and it looked fine. Is my radio toast?

I had a 2012 Camry but has not found the TPM display on it. It has fuel info and trip history when push the CAR button. I thought it should be there. How do I locate or set it up? Or it is not standard on LE?
View 4 RepliesI got a 2011 Camry a couple of months ago with the EX Radio Bluetooth, MP3, Satellite, and more. After I got it I realized you can't see the radio station setting display in the sunlight. I took it in and found out there is no way to adjust the brightness unless it's at night with the lights on. Turning the little odometer knob adjust other things but this radio is an LCD display of whilte letters and numbers on a gray background. When the headlights are on the adjustment just makes the backlight brighter, not the lettering. Don't say turn the odometer knob, that doesn't work as I said above.
View 14 RepliesI just purchased a 2012 Toyota Corolla LE. The factory radio has a 'Phone' button on the right hand side of the radio. When I push the button, the display shows 'Unavailable.' What this button is for? With the Blu Logic kit, it has a separate phone button that mounts in the dash knockouts. Can the phone button on the radio be used instead?
View 2 RepliesJust installed my new fogs in my 2012 LE and the install went GREAT! The switch has an LED in it to illuminate it AND one that comes on when you turn fogs on. What circuit I could tap into to dim that led? In lieu of that can you just put a resistor in the circuit to permanently dim it? I have the factory Wire diagram, so I will look for a light that is dimmed with the dash lights.
View 4 RepliesI was in my friends' new Corolla and Tacoma (both with the Entune Plus) and noticed right away that their backup camera image was much clearer than my 2014.5 SE with the base Entune Audio.
So I went to the Toyota Camry site and look at the current specs,
LE,SE standard
(6.1-in. touch-screen display)
XSE,XLE standard
(7-in. high resolution touch-screen display)
So I am wondering, has the XLE always had the high resolution display since 2012?
I am guessing the only cheap upgrade option is buying used display units to swap out. Does the rear camera need upgrading also?
I just purchased a 2012 Camry, unfortunately the radio is the stock display audio unit, without navigation, satellite radio capability or Entune. Is it possible to upgrade these components and have them installed or would I need to replace the entire unit?
