My issue is i recently have put two different sets of front LED turn signals in my car and only after a day or so they blow out. When i pull out the bulbs they smell burnt. i do have LED turn signals in the rear as well they are plug and play with decoders no resistor required. For the front ones i did add 50W 6Ohm resistors on each side.
View 7 RepliesIt all began on my 1997 Camry when the driver's front turn signal began the rapid flashing thing, indicating to me that the bulb in the front was out. I replaced the bulb. The running light part works, but the flasher still does not. On the front passenger side of the car, the turn signal works, but the running light does not. I replaced the passenger side bulb at the same time I replaced the driver's side bulb. The flashing turn signal works as it did before, but the running light still does not go on.
The problem shouldn't be the bulbs - they are new. The flasher unit behind the fuse box should affect both lights flashing, so it probably is not that.
What thing or things can cause one light to flash for the turn signal but not be on constantly for the running light (passenger front side) and to work as a running light being constantly on, but not flashing as a turn signal (driver's front side)?
It blows luke warm air, no hot or no AC just luke warm... what could it be?

My question, is there any way of slowing down the speed of the turn signal WITHOUT replacing the LED back to stock bulbs?
I have an issue that popped up on my 2012 F-150 today. I was driving a bit today and when I returned home and shut the truck off I noticed that the right turn signal indicator stayed faintly illuminated. None of the lights outside are affected, and they all work normally, just that the indicator on the dash is staying lit.
The only thing I can see is that last week I smashed up the drivers side mirror and it busted the lens off of the LED lights in the mirror and 1 LED bulb is exposed. It did rain a bit today but I figured it would short out and blow a fuse if anything.
I will undo the negative battery cable tomorrow and see if it will reset, if not I will have te dealer check it out when I drop it off to have the roof reprinted next week.
My front left turn signal was hyper flashing. I replaced all four bulbs to no avail. Just to satisfy my curiosity I switched the bulb holder from left to right sides. The hyper flash followed to the right side. Turns out that the bulb holder shorted out. I had it replaced under warranty yesterday.

For example I have been told that on the sixth generation Camry you have to remove the bumper to change the turn signal bulb. I have never had to deal with this, just what I have been told.

View 13 RepliesI need to know the Location of the turn signal relay, my left front bilnker is super dim, and the rear left blinker is normal brightness as well as they blink rapidly. I've replaced both front and back bulbs as well as the flasher and turn signal fuses, so I am assuming the last and final one is the turn signal relay.

If you pull out to pass a car and don't use the turn signal does it give a warning the entire time you're in the "wrong lane" ? Does the warning stop when you're back in the lane you left?

View 2 RepliesI just got a 2014 Camry SE a few months ago. I have a couple of questions. First of all, I need to know how to turn off the daytime running lights when the engine is off and I'm just parked and listening to the radio. The lights seem to be on any time the ignition switch is in any position except off.
And secondly, is it necessary to use synthetic engine oil instead of good quality regular oil of the correct viscosity? Will it affect the warranty, how about the oil change interval, etc.
I am having this strange problem with my 2014 Camry: When the door is opened, the dome light turns on but the map lights do not, unless I physically press the light cover to turn them on - and they stay on indefinitely even when the door is closed. Is this worth taking to the dealership or is there a quick fix? Strange I never experienced something like this before.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2012 Toyota Camry LE and whenever I turn on the blower fan, the fuel consumption increase by about 0.13 to 0.26 US gallon/hour. This is regardless of the thermostat settings, air outlet selector settings or not in the dehumidifying settings and the A/C button is at off position. There is also an increase of about 150 rpm. The only time this condition will not occur is that when the engine temperature is at 176 F which is the engine is in optimum performance. If the engine temperature is below below 170 F it will always happen. During winter most of the time the car could not reach that temperature before I reach my destination because I live in the region where cold weather is at extreme.
View 14 RepliesJumped in the truck this evening to go to the store and when I stared it up the left turn signal was blinking. Lifted the arm as usual to cancel and it does not cancel. Cannot get the left signal off unless I hold the turn signal up for the right signal. The right signal does not activate, but the left does go out as long as I hold the arm up. Let go and the left starts blinking again. Tried driving around to see if it would cancel and no luck. The bulbs are all good. I checked the relays in the fuse panel and they are good. Dang thing just won't shut off. It is a 2011 F150 SCREW Platinum w/5.0.

View 2 RepliesI have a brand new Camry SE 2014.5 and since day one, when ever I park the car and come back after a short while or when ever I start the car and keep it on for a while, it looses water under the front passenger side. Initially I thought it is the air condition but now I am afraid that there is something wrong with the coolant system. BTW: The temperature of the engine is always in the normal zone. The car is about 2 month and 1500 miles old. What it could be?
View 7 RepliesWe just got a new 2014.5 LE, but I noticed that front passenger seat in it doesn't recline flat when reclined backwards. We also have 2012 Camry hybrid, and the difference in seat reclining between them is 3/4". 2012 passenger seat reaches back seat when fully reclined, and 2014.5 does not, it has quite a large gap. Is my 2014.5 seat defective and needs to be fixed, or are all of them are made like this now? We had two 2006 Camrys before, and in both of them front passenger seats reclined fully, touching the back seat...
