Camry 2012+ :: 2013 When Play Song / Some Of Vocals Were Missing
Jan 12, 2015
Wife just purchased a 2013 Toyota Camry LE with 32,000 miles on it. Great looking car.Tried to use the aux input to play some music from my iPhone. Immediately noticed that on the first song I played, some of the vocals were missing (only played the music). Went to the next song and had the vocals but something still wasn't right (it was missing certain parts of the music that accompanied the song). Also in general the sound quality wasn't great compared to the audio input on my truck.

I would like to know if the Navigation system in Camry 2013 SE could play any video files. Would it recognize any DVD's or cd's with video format files.?

From the past few weeks I have observed that when I try to play any Audio or MP3 CD in my RX 350, only the first song plays and then nothing. change discs, again, only the first song plays and then it dies i.e. no sound. Even when I try to change the tracks nothing plays. If something to be taken to dealer, does the Platinum Extended Warranty (bought by Jerry) cover it?

Owner of a 2013 Camry, So about a year and 3 months ago my radio killed itself. I had installed front door speakers and I guess they over drove the radio's amp and it fried itself. Saw the whole works, smoke, static from speakers etc. Well in Feb of 2015 I got another radio off a junker Camry and installed my factory speakers back in and it was working wonderfully... until now.
Yesterday after work I was driving home and suddenly the audio cuts out, usually i thought it was my Galaxy Note 4 because it has issues with Bluetooth but that wasn't the case this time. No sources would play audio. The radio turns on and everything. It accepts Bluetooth connections and plays CD's but there is no audio coming out. I checked all the speakers and none of them are touching metal.

I just leased a 2013 ES 350 (love the car BTW):
Play a song via Bluetooth on your cell phone through the car audio, turn the car off, restart the car and the Bluetooth song gets reset to the beginning and does not resume.
In two rental cars I had previously, they both resumed from the point the song left off so I know this option is common out there. Perhaps this is because of the synchronization that occurs every time you connect the Bluetooth?

I know it's a typical new car issue but every time I look at my car I see a new chip. None of them are major, usually just some missing clear coat but yesterday I found one that looked like it had been masked with fingernail polish. How do I remove this without damaging the paint underneath? Also, how do I level the repair after the clear coat?

I just got a new 2013 Camry SE with the basic (non-nav) touch display and the Galaxy S3 registers and will play music and display the artist and track name most of the time. However, I have no option of looking at the artists or selecting albums. The right and left buttons on the wheel controls do nothing, and I can only skip forward and backward one track.
On page 54 of the display manual, it shows a browse button that is not there on my screen. I cannot get track lists of any kind. I should also note that the song progress bar is not displayed as it is in the picture.
Is there a certain app that I can use that would make the phone more compatible? I'm a bit shocked that a phone as commercially successful as the S3 is not working properly with a 2013 vehicle.

I'm trying to find a fix that will prevent the ipod integration from auto playing the top song while scrolling from the nav screen. I also own a 2010 RX350 and Lexus took care of that for me. Do Toyota has a fix for my 2010 XLE NAV??

I tried using voice control to select an album to play and it wouldn't work. I have about 150 songs on a USB stick which works fine using the pointer, but I can't select using voice. I've had the car for 2 years and this I the first time I tried using it. Do you state the album name, the artist name, or the song name? Does it have to be listed by file number?

i am used to changing the oil & filter in a new car after 700 miles, the thinking was the bad sand castings and after a couple hundred miles some sand and other noogies would fall out of the engine block, heads and other parts. Then begin a 3,000-3,500 miles cycle of oil & filter changes. The dealer where I bought and will have it serviced at, a large Toyota dealership in Henderson, NV., says the oil and filter in this new Camry SE V6 gets changed every 10,000 miles. I know the tolerances are much tighter in 2013 than the 60's & 70's, and this engine uses synthetic oil but that seems a long time between oil & filter changes.

I just bought HID for my fog lights. I was looking all over the internet for how to install them, but i couldn't find any. I have a 2013 Camry SE. It came with stock fog lights. Also there is a lip cover on the bottom of my bumper. I was wondering how to install HID fog lights successfully?

I have a 2013 XLE V6 and the trunk no longer sits evenly. Where the lights meet at the back of the car the trunk lights stick out about 1/2 inch further than the quarter panel lights and the gap on the right side is much bigger than the left.
I swear I have not had any accidents or issues hauling anything that would have torqued this out of whack.

When sitting around in Drive at idle, my 2013 Camry is vibrating VERY noticeably at idle when the A/C is running. Turn the A/C off and idle goes back to normal.
I don't seem to remember this last summer - is this pretty normal for the I4 models? It seems to happen when the engine is at low RPM in gear and goes away if I blip the throttle or put the car into Neutral or Park. Even more shaky in reverse.
I usually run 87 octane, but have tried a tank of 89 and 93 with much the same result, but a little more power from a stop in hot weather. This feels very unusual for a 2013 car - my old 2002 Nissan didn't seem to even notice that the A/C was on.

Just p/u '13 XLE w/I-4 and have noticed that it rolls back or forward when put into park excessively. I mentioned to Service Mgr who said it's non-changalble setting. A little miffed.

Bought a 2013 Camry from local dealer last fall with just over 12k miles on it. I recently did my first oil change and there was sizable metal flakes in the oil pan. I'm not 100% positive they came out of the oil pan. I'm going to change the oil again after 5k and see what it looks like. The car is a Toyota certified vehicle.
At any rate, do you think I should take it in to Toyota and have them look at it? I just want to be covered if there is an issue with the engine later on.

2013 Prius C with Entune. The USB connection allows me to charge my iPod (3rd generation) and iPhone 4S but I cannot play music via that connection. The system is designed to allow playback through the USB, right? I plugged in a flashdrive and was able to play music. I have tried three cables and none allow the feed from the device into the audio system. I am able to connect into the Aux port and play music.

I just purchased a new 2013 Camry SE and I was wondering if it's possible to lower the passenger seat (no power).
My boyfriend and I are both pretty tall. I've got the driver's seat lowered as far as it will go, but the passenger seat seems really high now...

I just purchased a new 2013 Camry LE and so far I love it. One questions I have though is this: Where is the radio antenna? I have the stock radio (non-Nav, non-JBL.)
