I have a 2011 toyota camry. 3.5L v6. I have code p0157. I know my car has 4 o2 sensors, but I am not sure which one to buy. Where this o2 sensor is located, and which one to purchase. A part number would be very useful.
View 3 Replieswent to have an oil change. Standard procedure. Wife drives the 330 away and the check engine and VSC lights come on. I figure it's the maintenance indicator needing reset, but no..... the reset didn't work. Went back to my local mechanic who changed the oil to run codes and see what the problem is. Code P0157 = bad O2 sensor.
Now, I questioned him as to why these lights would come on DIRECTLY after they changed my oil. Is there any correlation there? NO, he says. No reason why these lights would come on immediately after the oil change and we've never seen these two lights come on at the same time before.
I've read every post and thread I can, but it seems like every issue is different. Some times it's a loose gas cap or gas cap that needs replacing. I have to drive 60 miles to the dealer some time soon to have a recall performed, but until then should I worry about this O2 sensor and these lights staying on?
2 weeks ago a check engine light came on with P0351-Ignition Coil "A" Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction, took the car to Toyota dealer and replaced ignition coil for cylinder No1. I drove the car for about 10K and check engine light came on again with P0606-PCM Processor Fault.
For the past week I was monitoring the DTC's using INNOVA- CanOBD2 Code Reader 3030 (ordered ODB2 USB tool to check live data on a laptop, on it's way...). I had P0606 on all the time, about everyday. For 3 times I had P0157-O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank #2 Sensor #2) on.
What's the link between the two DTC's? Why not P0157 alone? Or P0606 alone? What is the procedure to diagnose this?
My 2009 Camry came down with the p0157 code which I looked up & is oxygen sensor circuit, low voltage bank 2 sensor 2. I'm trying to figure out which side this is(driver or passenger)? Also have a p0430 code-catalyst system efficiency below threshold.
View 2 RepliesI have a P0171 code (lean bank 1 sensor 1) on my 2002 toyota camry 4 cylinder. I don't have any other codes except for an unrelated P1780 neutral safety switch code. It has had both codes for over a year.
I have replaced the fuel filter, the upstream o2 sensor, and the PCV valve. I also cleaned the MAF sensor. The mechanic performed a smoke test and found no vacuum leaks. Did a fuel pressure test and it's normal. Mechanic thought it would be fuel pressure because the car starts a bit slow when cold, but nope. The car runs great and still gets great gas mileage. I've never experienced a misfire in my 12 years of owning the car. I am asking because I am at a loss as to what it could be.
The computer is returning P1379 camshaft position sensor. Where is this sensor located on a 2002 Toyota Camry 2.4L and how easy would you rate the job of replacing it?

As per the repair manual, the front passenger seat has to be removed to get to the sensor's electrical connector but an internet video shows that the driver seat has to be removed. Replacing the heated bank 1 sensor 2 on a Camry before?
View 9 RepliesI need to know the Fire order for the 2011 toyota camry se 2.5 L engine. so I can find which oxygen sensor I need to change. I m getting a P0137 code and it said is the bank 1 sensor 2. I think that is the one after the catalytic converter but need to find out for sure.

View 6 RepliesI have a 2007 Camry Hybrid with ~150k miles, 4-cyl engine and last week the water temp gauge starting fluctuating erratically...going from extremely hot to cold and vice versa. It eventually tripped the check engine light and autozone said it was p0117 - Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Circuit Low Input. At one point the engine was really shaking the whole car. I haven't driven the car as a result.
I have ordered a new ECT sensor and it should arrive this week. the problem is I can't find where the sensor is located... I have looked all over this forum, google, the internet, nothing. I have looked in a Chilton's manual but it doesn't have a diagram.
I need a replacement driver side door, towing mirror for a 2011 Ford F250 SuperDuty with turn signal, heated, electrically adjustable manual-extend and manual fold options. The truck VIN number is 1FT7X2B67BEC96261. The truck also has an Outside-Air-Temperature indication which is what I'm not sure about. It is my understanding that the Outside-Air-Temperature sensor may be in the side mirror. Looking for any info on the temperature sensor located on this truck? I found an aftermarket mirror while I can not afford Ford. However, the aftermarket mirror ad says it does not have Outside-Air-Temperature and I would like to keep that working.

View 1 RepliesMy Santa Fe indicated P0715 for input speed sensor problem. I purchased both sensors and based on forum input I removed the air box and battery to access senors. Output speed sensor is easy to see and access. I am having a problem locating the input sensor. I see wires going to a sensor under both the main wiring harness and shift cable. Is that the location of the input sensor? If so how do you move the wiring harness and shift cable to allow access? If not, where is the input speed sensor located? The Santa Fe is 2001 V6 2.7L.
View 8 RepliesWife's car threw a p0711 code. It says temp sensor failure or whatever. I found the part on rockauto for 22 bucks but that's not the issue. I've tried searching about this and I seem to find some stuff about elantras and sonatas. I can't seem to find anything specific to a accent. I've read that it's inside the transmission which is fine I've changed valves before and such on old rwd transmissions. But some things I find say it's on the bottom and some say the side. Also wiring is mentioned pretty often with service bulletins.
View 28 RepliesI just had an OBD code pulled on my 2010 Camry and it turns out that my Heated O2 sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 2 is failing. I'd rather do this myself if I can but I can't figure out where this thing is. Is this something I can access myself and swap out? Or does this need to be fixed by a mechanic?
