Camry :: 2010 LE - Pedals Too Close To Each Other?

So I've been driving my 2010 Camry LE 4-cyl for just over 2.5 years and 36K miles now. (Odometer has 66K miles on it.)
Now that winter is finally well under way, I've been wearing my Columbia hiking boots while driving. (BTW these are just suede and canvas hiking boots, not the super bulky winter boots that they also make.)
I've worn these shoes while driving my Camry during the previous couple of winters. No problems whatsoever.
This afternoon, however, I accidentally pressed the brake and gas pedals simultaneously while pulling into a parking spot and attempting to come to a complete stop. I heard the engine begin to race and the car was about to surge forward, when I realized what was happening. So I quickly lifted my foot off the pedals and pressed the brake pedal in a split second. Crisis averted.
Strangely enough, this happened to me *twice* today. I realize the hiking boot is wider than a typical running or dress shoe, but after all the hoopla in the media several years ago, and after browsing through the series of similar incidents on car complaints website, I am wondering if there really is a design issue with the proximity of the pedals on this car.

Over the past month or so my wife and i have noticed a slight vibration or? I don't really know how to best describe it other than a feeling. The truck has developed this feeling thru the steering wheel and pedals. The best way i can describe it is like a bearing going bad?
It is full time awd and I am assuming it is an awd issue. The truck has about 60,000 miles on it. It can be felt at all speeds. I rotated the tires with no change. My next step would be to go thru the front end, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. But I really don't think the issue is in the steering. the truck drives straight and no steering vibration.

Trunk won't close. Car has 101000 miles, new struts last year as well as belts and hoses.

So my friend was driving her car and the sunroof won't close. When it gets to the end of the track, it opens itself back up again. We found a piece sitting on the right-hand track but don't see anyplace where it would fit. It's Saturday pm on a holiday weekend and no place is open.

Is there a way to force this thing to close so the car doesn't get ruined by rain until she can fix it?

the fuel door on my 02 Camry LE won't close. I'm guessing that there's a bar missing from where the hole is on the right side of the fuel cap. Can this problem can be fixed by myself (I have some mechanical knowledge, which I reckon I won't need for this)? If so, what are the parts I need to get?

When I open the trunk using the lever to the left of the driver's seat the trunk will open but will not latch close again.
I can open the trunk using the key or the Key FOB.
The lever in the passenger's compartment does not return to it normal down position. Upon examination of the latch itself, it appears operational with all parts moving freely when disconnected from everything else.
There is a spring-loaded cable return mechanism that is supposed to return the trunk latch and the cable to their initial positions. I have to physically move the spring loaded mechanism by hand in a counter-clockwise direction to get the mechanisms to return to their starting positions.
I think that this indicates that there is either a bind in the cable or that the lever in the driver's compartment is faulty.
Do I have to disassemble the interior of the car to check/change the cable and/or the lever mechanism? Are there any posted instructions on how to do this?

2014 Camry XLE. When you press the close button, sometimes the sunroof will make it about halfway and then go back open. However, if you press the close button quickly several times and sort of shimmy the sunroof closed, it will close. Nothing is obstructing it.

When I look under the hood of the Elantra and then try to close it, it seems to not want to close. I usually have to lift the hood up and let it fall which kind of worries me will break something...
or I have to put what seems to be a lot of pressure on the hood with my arms and hands to close it...to the point where I feel the metal of the hood bend slightly inwards and then pop out to its regular shape.

We have had the 2014 Camry SE for 3 months, 2000 miles, (we also have a 2005 Camry LE) and our first interstate trip is when we noticed it. When we get close to 70 mph and above we hear it. Sounds like some maybe flapping/rubbing? No really metal sounding, maybe plastic? I have checked under the car, do not see anything loose. We first thought it was coming from the storage area in between the seat, but we took everything out and the noise continued. Dead center under the car it sounds like. It does it every time, the same sound.

I want to mount my skis this year on the roof the only issue is the 2 bars are too close. I noticed their is rubber stopper at each end.
They are mentioned in the manual, but no explanation for use and doubt they have to be that long.

I've had my 2010 for about 17months and 16k miles. Early on, I remember that I was able to easily close the rear hatch by just lightly yanking down on the handle, and gravity would do its thing. However, these days, I need to pull down much harder to get it to close in one try. Should I try to lube the hatch shocks and hinge? Or do I need to clean them first somehow?

I removed one of the cd's out of the dash unit and the nav display screen remains opened and won't close. I tried turning the vehicle off and on, nothing happened, so then I attempted to remove the 2nd cd that was in the changer and it slides out, but immediately slides back in.

We just upgraded our Prius from Gen 3 to Gen 3....a 2012. Great ride, just drove it from SoCal on a Sierra Mtns road trip, a little hiking and snowboarding for our spring break. What we failed to notice upon purchase was a passenger door whose controls want work! The drivers door can lock the car and operate the passenger window and lock. However, the passenger door switch won't open or close the window, nor will it lock the door. All other doors and locks work normally.

This has been annoying me a little bit. When I get in my car when it's been raining, I try to wipe my shoes off on the carpet before touching the pedals but all it takes is little bit of water. i hate the squeaking and my foot has slipped off the clutch a few times.

Ok, so the rubber on my wifes GLi pedals are getting way too worn down. On making these things have more grip? They never had much grip to begin with, but do you think if I put some grip tape on them it would work. I'd try to make it look nice, but I'm not sure that's possible.

Power hatch stop working? I get a long beep and nothing. Won't open or close, it has to be done manually. My next oil change is in 1-2 months so I was going to have it looked at then by Lexus under warranty. Nothing seems stuck in the latch.
