I have a 2009 camry with sunroof my overhead console is not working properly there is a 2007 camry console for sale that looks the same,my question is will it fit and work properly?
View 1 RepliesThe sunroof drains on my '02 wagon clogged, causing water to start dripping out of the overhead console. ARF! The repair is gonna cost me a lot. What sounds really strange is that the mechanic tells me that the outlets from the drain tubes are slightly crimped. This makes them impossible to flush and requres removal of the headliner and interior A-pillar trim sot that the hoses can be pulled and replaced. The mechanic then tells me that he will cut off the crimped portion of the tube outlets to enable them to flow freely. Crimping the outlets sounds like a really stupid thing to do. What purpose could this serve?

View 14 RepliesWife just told me tonight that the overhead console and rear heater are not working in the excursion. Of course, we have a 3 hour drive tomorrow and it is cold outside.. The posts seem to center on either the readout not working or the heater not working, but not both. Trying to minimize time troubleshooting outside in the cold.
View 4 RepliesI have an 03 F350 Lariat, the overhead console display quit working awhile back (about 18 months ago) and so far my only option is to buy a new one from Ford. I have looked online, on ebay, local wreckers and have come up with nothing. I have come close a few times but the wrecks didn't have a sunroof so the display is different. I searched and found ways to fix the resistors but mine do not seem to have the poor solder problem that some do. Where I can find a replacement display?

View 10 RepliesCEL - code escaping me but it said #7 glow plug (ordered a scantool yesterday).
Shifting - its at lowest been in the 30's and the truck has issues shifting until its warm. Its wierd, its like the water temp gauge stays at cold, then snaps up and shifting is fine from then on. Takes what I think is a long time to get there, not a gradual temp change, just like click and the gauge is on.
Lots of electrical looking issues, maybe all tied together?
- Shut doors sometimes flashers blink
- Overhead console no longer lights up
- Door ajar and overhead lights on when doors are tight
- more oddities but I can't think of them now
As far as I can tell, Expeditions, Excursions and Navigators all had this same part in them but for whatever reason it seems like it's next to impossible to find on its own - I don't want to buy a whole overhead console for one part.
Here is what I'm talking about:
I want to replace the lens and buttons, not just the missing button (which is somewhere inside my truck)
Is it Part #5 on this? [URL] ....
I can't find an individual part # - Is it because the overhead console was sold as a whole?
I have a corolla 2010 S and I think the blower is not working properly. It work in all speeds but in the max speed (4) you could hear and feel that the air flow varies. There is a little noise coming from the glove compartment. I already change the cabin air filter and still do it. I have to change the blower ?

It worked great for the first few days, but now this.
This morning i was in the house and tried to remote start. Lock, then the 2x button 2 times. truck beeped at me. So i did it again and again. Nothing but the truck honking at me. So i tried, unlock, lock 2x. Still honked at me.
THen i went out in the cold 5 ft from the truck and it did the same thing. so i climbed in started the truck manually, then shut it off , got out locked the doors. Then i did the lock, 2x two times and the truck fired up.
