View 4 RepliesVehicle is a 2003 SLE 3.0 L 1MZ-FE V6 Automatic. Problem: Check Engine Light on & TRAC Off Light on. AutoZone diagnostic produced three codes, P0155, all referring to Bank 2 Sensor 1. Was told downstream however after ordering matching DENSO part and then taking said part to a mechanic to install, mechanic tells me AutoZone diagnostic was incorrect. His diagnostic was telling him the malfunctioning O2 sensor was upstream, not downstream. Yet he did not tell me if it was left or right bank. He told me to find out from AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts?.I just want to make sure I get the right 02 sensor so I don't have to go through having the incorrect part installed again then removed just so I can return it to get the correct part. I've been told my car has three sensors, two up front, one underneath. I am aware it is best to get DENSO over Bosch.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2010 Corolla. The car is flashing the infamous VSC Off, trac, engine light! The car is still has the powertrain warranty. I was wondering if I should take it to a Toyota dealership.
But I read just getting the diagnostic itself is around $100. I don't want to end up paying for that if the repairs end up being something that's not even covered under the warranty.
I Installed an HID kit and after starting the car for the first time the check engine light stayed on and shortly after the car started moving the trac orange light came on too.. its a pic of a car with sliding marks below it. What could be causing this??
View 3 RepliesI have a 2007 Toyota Camry LS that says check vsc system. The check engine light, vsc and trac lights are all three are on. That is a concern but another big concern is that is sometimes runs sluggish and acts likes it wants to stall. ?
View 7 Replies2012 Corolla S with 84000 miles, for the last month the check engine and trac off light keeps coming on randomly. I disconnect the negative battery charge and wait 10min and reconnect and it goes away. I havnt counted how many miles I go until the light come back on. But since the last time I disconnected the battery my car has been on for 8hours on the engine time. I had them scan it at autozone and the car is throwing two codes one was the MAF and I can't recall the other.
View 5 Replies08 RX350 with ~100K miles. Two weeks ago the Check Engine/TRAC light were on, VSC light blinks, so I tightened the gas cap, and pull the negative and cleared the code. Hoping this is just a gas cap issue.
2 weeks later all those lights are back again, so my mechanic pulled the code and came up with P0128. He told me it should be the problem with the Coolant Temperature Sensor. The water pump, thermostat was replaced last year and coolant level is OK. No issue with coolant temperature and the car drives like normal. My mechanic cleared the code and told me to drive it again until the lights come back and he will pull the code again.

So I was under the hood and was checking something out and unplugged the MAF sensor for a bit and put it back. Put everything back to the what it is, but now I have TRAC OFF on my display and Check Engine Light.
View 1 Replies2006 gs 300. Been driving car around and the 3 lights came on which are vsc, Trac and check engine light all at the same time. Replaced the 2 front O2 sensors but the light keeps coming on and off. When I drive the car the car hesitates to go over 25 mph.
View 14 RepliesCurrently I haven't been tweaking anything to my car after driving to go and home I left to go get something to eat and after driving for a few min out of nowhere the engine light, brake and abs comes up. So I freak out a pull over to the nearest gas station and turn my engine off for 2 min and turn it back on and this time only the engine light come up. So I drove to autozone to get it scan and error p0500 comes up. Which means short circuit, vss and poor electricity something I am not exact but is it serious? Like I am freaking out right now.
View 1 RepliesMy 2009 Camry check engine light is on. Dealer said the two O2 sensor both are dead and need to replace. After dealer reset the check engine light I have driven two days for 50 miles and the check engine light doesn't come back. If the O2 sensor is bad how long does it take for check engine light on again? Is it possible the check engine report on by mistake since two O2 sensors got bad at the exact same time is really rare.
View 13 RepliesMy wife called to tell me that her Camry would barely pull away from a standstill this morning. Very sluggish until about 2500 rpm, at which point she said it took off normally. This accompanied by the Check Engine light, which just appeared this morning. I haven't been home yet to check fluid levels or take a test drive. Anything in particular I should be looking for?
View 6 RepliesMust have pushed the wrong button in the dark. Anyway, the TRAC button and the check engine light both lit when I started the car. (push button start). How can I get it off??
View 9 RepliesTonight, during a short ride, all the sudden the VSC TRAC, VSC OFF and Check Engine came on. Atfter home, I got the P0057 code from a OBDII scanner. The P0057 code indicates O2 sensor on bank 2 lower sensor. However, the interesting thing is I also lost the power seat adjustment on the seat memory. When I switched between L1 and L2 , the mirrors and the steering position changes and the seat did not. However, the adjustment buttons on the seat itself work correctly. I wonder if this problem associates with P0057?
View 4 RepliesI have a 2001 toyota 4runner 6-cylinder 3.4L engine with about 197xxx miles on it. I just took it in for an oil change a few weeks ago and when they checked all the other fluids in the truck they said the coolant seems sludgy and dark. Also the check engine light and vsc trac and vsc off lights came on, a week or so before the oil change. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and do almost all my work myself with the limit of the tools i have, but i can't seem to figure out what is causing this.
View 6 RepliesI recently had a CEL code for bank 2 cat converter.. I drove the car with the CEL for 8 months and one day the VSC and TRAC OFF light popped on and wouldn't go away. I took it to toyota and they told me that it is because the check engine light is on and once the CEL goes off the others should as well. Well i recently replaced the bank 2 cat and cleared the CEL and iv driven over 300 miles already the CEL has not come back on but the VSC and TRAC OFF light remain ON....
View 2 RepliesI have a 2002 Toyota Camry SE with the VSC and TRAC lights that stay on. I've diagnosed the problem to be the left rear wheel sensor. I've replaced the wheel sensor only now I have to do a zero point calibration. How to do a zero point calibration?
View 1 RepliesI'm getting code P0057 with my OBD II code reader. This is what shows up..
H025 Heater control circuit low bank 2 sensor 2
Is it the code for the 02 sensor???? 09 Camry V6
I have a 2011 Fx4 super crew and my advance trac warning light comes on and off periodically while driving, I have taken my truck to the dealership about 6 times to have the problem fixed. For some reason they can't fix it, I have tried everything I can to get it fixed but still having the issue.
View 5 RepliesMy completely un-modified fully-loaded V6 Camry SE is currently in the shop getting the brake actuator assembly changed after almost a YEAR of these lights randomly coming on. There was no rhyme or reason. I'm a tad OCD so if there was a pattern,I'd have found it. Never came on to where they could test it. Said they could do nothing until they saw them. I took photos, but they acted like they'd never seen it before. Finally, as I was just ready to pass the dealership, they came on. I pulled in and they checked and said the lights came on right when I "was going 4mph, on an angled curve with my foot on the brake!"
And after an hour and a half said I needed to leave the car, gave me a warranty rental, and said they'd call me. I called them to learn it was the actuator assembly that was going to be replaced and one would be overnighted in. So I have a 4-cyl rental without all of my perks, like the moonroof, the heated seats, the automatic rear view mirror, back up camera.....what a difference! I'm spoiled after 19 months of my Camry! Oh, and when I first got it, there was a bad musty odor from the a/c vents every time I turned it on. I bought it with 55 miles on it...they said "all Toyotas do that."
I said this is my 3rd Toyota in a row, and I ah do one in the past. Oh, "brand new Toyotas," they said. My corolla was 6months old when I bought it. After 2 years, I traded it in for a brand new FJ Cruiser, then traded that in 6 years later for this brand new Camry. Nothing! Finally, I get a notice in the mail from Toyota re: a/c condenser pan overfills, not draining, and can cause airbag problem! was that stench water in the pan, seeping in through the vents smelling like a dirty rag not enough of an explanation that something was wrong. We had to wait until it could have been an airbag issue? Yikes! Happy that took care of the problem and my new car smell was back in no time. How it goes with the lights!
My 2011 Camry LE 4-cyl has 48k miles. Today I was driving on the highway during very heavy rain. My vehicle slip indicator light came on, along with my check engine light. I stopped at Advanced Auto for a diagnostic check. They said they couldn't be sure if it was a sensor, or maybe a wiring issue.
