My 08 Camry CE/Base on the passenger side has tiny rust dots that appeared after I got a car wash. How to remove them? I read something about clay but I don't know what they're talking about.
View 6 RepliesI own a 2008 Toyota Camry. Yesterday I noticed that cool air is only blowing out on the passenger side and not on the drivers side.I topped off my refrigerant to see if that was it, but that wasn't the problem. What could be the issue?
View 1 RepliesWash the car today, unfortunately found the driver side doorsill start to have some rust, and luckily the rust only found at he driver side doorsill rest doorsill looks fine.
Don't know what to do now, get it painted? or just grease it will keep rust from spreading?
I have a 2008 Solara Convertible. My passenger low light headlight has been flickering on and off for months now and it has now reached the point of just staying off most of the time.
So I went to a auto parts store and the guy said the bulbs were special and I needed to take them to a mechanic. So I did and that guy told me that I can't change my own headlight bulbs because they're HID?? And if I try, I'll electrocute myself. Is this true?
Also, if this isn't true, how can I found out how to change the bulb and what brand/part is in there so I can buy them online? Does the instructions in the basic owner's manual work for HID bulbs (unscrew, pull out, replace)??
Since I'm about to pick up my new (to me) 2012 Camry XLE V6, I noticed some colored dots on the tires and wondered what it means. I'm sure glad I Googled it, because it's good information when time comes to buy and mount new tires. It has to do with ensuring optimal balance of tire to wheel. . [URL]...............

I don't walk to that side of the car as often so I'm not sure how long it's been there. I can't feel on the other side as there is another panel on the other side so I don't know if it is rusted all the way inside.
View 12 RepliesI got in very minor accident the other day and the glass part of the passenger mirror popped out and broke on the ground. I just got my replacement glass from Amazon (I think the brand is Fit System or something). The rear tab is broke on the new part and the glass piece isn't anywhere near factory quality.
Where I can purchase an OEM replacement online? Just looking for the glass part. Also - is there a trick to snapping it back on? For some reason I cant get the top tabs to snap into place, even with the OEM broken mirror (when I tried to put it back on.

I am concerned about a water puddle that forms under my Camry, I drive it then I park it the garage , and the next day there is a puddle of water, under the passenger side. I use the air condition. And was thinking that maybe it was the condensation from the air condensation. I keep check the antifreeze level , so its not that. I don't know of anything else it could be.

View 2 Repliesusing a can of compressed air to clean the dust in the vents and the straw came loose and now its stuck inside the vent and whenever I make a turn I can hear the straw rolling around.
How do I actually remove the passenger side air vent cover? (nearest to the door) I tried to pry on it with a screwdriver but it doesn't seem like it wants to move. I actually asked the local dealer and they said I would have to remove the whole dash to access inside the vent. Do I really need to remove the whole dash or should I try to apply more pressure?
2002 Camry xle, 4 cyl with moonroof.
Passenger side front under carpet is wet. I pulled the carpet back and I could squeeze quite a bit of water from the foam backing.
The water was NOT red/pink in color and no smell.
I saw the a/c drain hose. PICTURE below. It seem clear and plugged into the floor pan.

I am at a loss. Is there a second a/c drain hose other than that black tube?
Some post says it could be moon roof leak. Where is the drain hose for that? My headliner etc is not wet! nor is the driver side.
I have a 2002 Camry (4 cylinders). About two weeks ago, I started to notice vibration on the passenger side of the car, front side, when the car reaches a certain speed (around 30-40 mph). At first I thought it was a wheel inbalance, so I took it to the Toyota Dealership and have them re-balance the wheels.
The problem, however, did not go away. I remember a while back after I got an oil change, the maintenance guy at the dealership mentioned that the motor mounts were going bad. Is it possible that bad/worn motor mount can cause vibration at certain speeds? The problem only occurs on the passenger side.
I do not notice vibration at idle (I think). I will have to drive the car again to double check this. But vibration is much more apparent when the car hits 30 mph+.
My 03 camry is a four cylinder and has 156xxx miles.
The first issue started with every time I reversed, I would hear a simple clicking noise on the passenger side. Not much of a problem at first, but later it started getting much louder to the point of a loud "THUD." From there, as I reverse it would have a high pitch ring in the rear end.
Anyways, now I hear NO sound or thud, except for a few things have changed. Now after reversing I heard the thud in the front passenger side as I drive off and turn the wheel. It also has a cracking sound whenever i go over speed bumps. And not to forget that if I have to reverse out of something, the brakes drag BAD.
The passenger side front wheel also smells BURNT after my drive.
My 1994 Camry's pass. window will not roll up. I replaced the motor but same result. It goes down great! Drivers side control doesn't work at all.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2005 Toyota Camry LE, 4 cylinder. Every time it rains the passenger side roof lining gets wet and floor gets a puddle. I did not see any drain holes in the moonroof area. I have read that the drains get clogged, but cannot find them. Looked behind the front wheel wells and did not see any drain tubes.
