Jun 19, 2012

I'm trying to take the rear seat out of my 07 Camry se. I got the bottom cushion out but I have no clue how to get the back out. its the NON folding seat so its quite a biznatch. So far I have taken out two bolts on the bottom front of the seat and some trim/carpet in the back.

Lexus LS 2007+ :: No Airflow From Rear Seat B Pillar AC Vents

I was driving home today and randomly thought to open the vents in the b pillars and noticed that neither rear vents were flowing any air. I opened and close them and I tried every mode on the AC, and even tried turning the rear vents from the arm rest to the back seat off. Any clue as to what the deal is?? I just cant imagine what the issue is. I have never used the vents in three years of ownership but would like to think that I have the option.

Lexus LS 2007+ :: Rear Seat Controls And Display Do Not Work For Climate Control 2008 LS460L

I have a 2008 LS360L with 4-zone climate control. For whatever reason, the rear seat controls and display do not work for climate control. The controls still work for radio, rear seat adjustment and window shades, but climate functions are unoperable.

Additionally, the 4-zone buttons on the nav touchscreen are now missing in the climate menu. There used to be left / right passenger settings and then a button to switch to rear seat settings. These options have all disappeared from the menu.

I can press the 4-zone physical button on dash and manually change temperature settings for driver or passenger by pressing physical driver / passenger temperature up / down buttons.

The only thing I can attribute to this is I had the dealer do a map upgrade to the nav system. All other features / functions work, but the timing is somewhat suspect... They really do not believe this upgrade caused the problem.

Are there hidden menus I may have hit to deactivate this feature?

The headrest of back seat will bend over when fold down the seat. But one of the headrests can't go back to original up position. Should I ask for a replacement of the whole seat?

Camry :: 2007 Making Noise From Rear When Accelerating From 0 To About 10-15 Mph

This is going to sound odd but here is the case: When accelerating in car from 0 mph to about 10-15 mph there is a noise coming from the rear. It sounds as if it is coming from the axial or something because it does it once every revolution. But the wierd thing is is that it does it louder when it rains or any moisture is in the air!

We had back right bearing replaced. But still makes noise. Don't think it is rock or tire because it only does it sometimes when speeding up. And does it very loud when raining or humid

Camry :: 2007 LE Growling Noise From Rear Right Wheel

I have 2007 Camry LE with about 88K miles on it. I get the growling noise from the read right wheel, particularly when turning right. I can very clearly hear it inside. Interestingly, this happens only first couple of times after I pull it off from parking.

I recently had the brakes and rotors replaced but the noise did not start coming until a couple of weeks later. I suspected it must have something to do with tires so I got them rotated. But that didn't stop the noise.

Initially, when I first heard the noise about 2 months back, it was very seldom but now it's almost everyday. When I got the tires rotated, I was told that I needed the rear wheels aligned. (But if it's due to alignment issue, shouldn't be coming from both wheels?)

Camry :: 2007 - Rear Sway Bar Bushings Replacement?

As a lot of Camry in this world, my rear sway bar bushings went bad. Tried to replace them, I went slowly with the ratchet on the first bolt as I don't want to go with the impact tool, but that damn bolt decided to break anyway...

I called my local dealer and he said he don't have the replacement in stock and he cannot tell me the size of this bolt.

What is the size? My 07 SE have the bracket with only two bolts.

Camry :: 2007 - Rear Rotor Stuck On Parking Brake

I am trying to remove the rear rotor of a 2007 Camry, but it appears to be stuck on the parking brake. The parking brake is not engaged, but the pads are firmly pressed against the rotor (rotor was loosen from hub assembly using bolts through the two threaded holes).

I have removed the rubber plug and attempted to turn the star adjuster, but it doesn't seem to move in either direction. Also, the adjuster should rotate away from you to tighten the brake and toward you to loosen, correct?
