View 1 RepliesMy 09 Camry was involved in a frontside impact crash about 2 years ago, I've had the car fixed since then by a body shop. However, my airbag light has been on for several months and will not go off. I've even had someone at a local garage try to turn it off, but it did not work.
Today a friend of mine used a clip to read the airbag code, and we got the code 31. I'm not sure what this means though.
06 Camry, ~130K miles.
So the Airbag warning light in my Camry has been coming on (and staying on) intermittently, but would turn off if I turned off the car and restarted it. May take a cycle or two, but it would turn off.
Took it to the dealer, they isolated to the passenger side seat. They cleaned contacts, reseated connectors etc.. and the light stayed off for a while. By the way, there appears to be no relationship to anyone sitting in the passenger seat, or not, at the time.
Happened again maybe 3 weeks later. Same thing was done at the dealer.
Took it in today with light on, they pulled the code B1826 (Description: OPEN IN SIDE SQUIB (P SEAT SIDE) CIRCUIT)
This is my wifes car (and kids) so no airbags isn't an option. According to the documentation I got from the tech at the dealer, the Detecting Condition is:
The airbag sensor assy center receives an open circuit signal in the side squib (P seat side) circuit for 2 seconds.
Side squib (P side seat) malfunction
Airbag sensor assy center malfunction
The "Trouble Area" information:
Front RH seat assy (Side squib (P seat side))
Airbag sensor assy center
Floor wire No. 2
2007 camry 3.5q... I got my engine scanned and the code was p0057. I already replace my two oxygen sensor but the check engine light and check vsc system still on. What will i do?
View 1 RepliesMy wife's car has 83000 miles on it. We bought it as a factory certified pre-owned vehicle with about 1800 miles on it and it came with the warranty. For the last two years the check engine light comes on with code 441 I don't worry about it till time to get inspection sticker here in Texas. I have been about to reset the computer and drive it till the computer is ready to be inspected and it has passed for two years. Now it won't reset and I have tried to test the vacuum switch and it seems to click when I apply voltage but light won't go off. This code can cost up to about 2000.00 to try and detect. I am not interested in having the dealership keep guessing on my dime.
View 2 RepliesToday my check engine light came on and the code is P0712. When I drove off from the parts store, the check engine light suddenly went off. What should I do at this point? What are the most likely problems/solutions.

My airbag light is on and my code reader, Innova 3160d, is telling me that the B0083 code is the Second Row Left Seatbelt Load Limiter Deployment Control (Subfault).
I Googled the code and came up with 1) passenger seat position sensor, and 2) front impact sensor 1 (driver's side).
Which one is correct?
I have a 2007 Toyota Camry LE, and the seat belt light keeps on flashing and the airbag light is solid. We have tried literally everything possible, tried replacing the seat, replaced the seats sensors, tried a airbag module out of another 07 camry with exact same part #. Toyota have diagnosed that all the systems for airbag is fine, except it has something to do with the seat belt of the drivers side/or module but all that's been checked and still no luck. My car is due for Safety inspecting coming month and need this to fixed. How to handle this. Btw light came on because we had a blown fuse for the drivers power seat, and my mechanic thought that it was the motor so we replaced the seat and noticed that it wasn't the motor. Was just the fuse and we put back the original seat and everything is functional except the lights came on. No accidents on it to the extent i know. and the wiring is all plugged back properly without anything like wiring damage.
View 9 RepliesI have a Sonata v6 3.3 2007 Its passenger Air Bag light is on, how much its gonna cost me to fix it ?? and sometimes when i stop at the signal light the oil light starts blinking, why is that, and as soon as I start driving it goes away.
View 11 RepliesI have a 2009 Toyota Prius. The airbag/srs light came on a couple weeks ago and would come and go. Eventually it came and did not go. This didn't really bother me as I don't drive it much anymore and I figured it would be gone by the next time I went to start it up. (I also heard about connections under the seat being loose and hoped that was the problem.) Well I was wrong. Today I noticed it was still there so I decided to start diagnosing. I jumped the connector as my obd2 scanner only reads regular and abs codes (not srs apparently).
The only code that came up was 51. Which is the driver side squib circuit. Many say that code 51 usually just ends up being the spiral cable. I simply find this odd as every button on my steering wheels works. Cruise control works fine etc. Idk how only 1 or 2 wires get messed up in that thing and how they turn out to be the ones for the airbag but I suppose its possible. My next step is to take a continuity tester to the 2 plugs that connect to the airbag to see if they are getting power.
My airbag light went on so i scanned for codes and I got:
00592-seatbelt switch:right (e25) 32-00-resistance too high.
What I need to do to fix this and make the light go away?
my car is a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser with over 75K on it. My problem is two fold. First, recently the right rear turn signal light shorts out but only in the morning it seems. Because we've been getting a lot of rain in Nashville and the surrounding area, I suspect the high dewpoint and humidity might play a part here but I think I just need to replace the bulb. The second issue is a little more annoying. For whatever reason, the "air bag warning" light on the driver side console comes on and I cannot figure out why.The third issue is a little more pressing. I noticed during the summer whenever I was idling and had the A/C running, occasionally I would hear the engine act like it was about to stall out, like RPMs had dropped significantly. Now I've noticed it does that when the front defroster is running and winter is coming. What can I do about any of these problems listed here?
View 7 RepliesSeveral weeks ago my 2010 Prius (actually bough 8/09) started displaying an intermittent airbag warning light. This is the red one on the right side of the display. Brought it in to the dealer, as the warranty on the SRS system is 5 years. They charged me a diagnostic charge of $96.00 because they claimed that although the SRS is covered under warranty, the diagnostic system was not. They did the work, and should get paid, but I am still after Toyota to pay them, and refund me. In any case the diagnosed code was B1826, which is an open in the side squib left hand circuit. In other words, a poor connection, or one with more resistance than the computer expects to see. They recalibrated the system and claimed it was fixed. However, two weeks later, it's back again.
View 6 RepliesAirbag light came on. Finally got a scan tool that will read it. Comes up with an active code of B1481 (Driver's airbag 2nd stage resistance too high). The scan tool shows 1st stage resistance at 2.6 ohms and 2nd stage at 6.6 ohms. My understanding is that it could be a faulty airbag or clock spring. How to further diagnose the condition?
View 6 RepliesI bought a used 2005 Elantra a couple years ago for my teenagers. The airbag light came on, so I took it to the dealer. The code they found is B1448. They said they need to replace the passenger side seat cushion module. (I think the value of the whole car can't be much more than that!).

Been having for some time an intermittent problem where the air bag light will come on and not clear. I can clear it sometimes by removing the neg. batt. term. and letting it sit for a few minutes. The "air bag" light always seems to come on when someone sits in the passenger seat. The dealer reported a trouble code of "B1382-- PSAB harness improper pin tension" They said that they re-seated a connector and it was good to go. Now the "air bag" light is on again. Does the description refer to the pin tension in a connector? which connector does it refer to and can I just tighten up the female part of the connector such that the male pin makes better contact? Is it the yellow connector under the seat?
Corolla has this code : B1801
When i erase it comes right back!
Open in (D) Squib Circuit. What to start looking for?
The airbag light on my 1995 Ford Ranger is flashing a code 41 (four flashes, pause, then one flash...does this a few times when I start the engine, then goes to a solid light which stays on while I drive.) It has been doing this for several months, and to be perfectly honest, this has not been a concern for me but now that my state inspection is coming up in December, I need to do something about it. Just before I noticed it to begin with, I had a major repair done--the dreaded heater core replacement--which involved removal of the dashboard. I never associated the flashing with that repair and the possibility that the repair shop might have inadvertently neglected to reattach something when reassembling the dashboard and now so much time has passed, that I can't just go back to the repair shop.
View 4 RepliesMy son has a 99 Ranger where the airbag light is flashing code 32. I had the same code on my F350 and it was the clock spring. What it could be. It is 99 Ranger with 2.5l, auto trans, 2wd, no CC.
View 2 RepliesSo I swapped in a new cluster fx4 to stx to get my airbag light to work. It now works but flashes code 25. Is code 25 the passenger airbag deactivation switch?
View 2 RepliesGot an air bag code 41. Comes on and flashes the code a number of times, then goes off for the rest of the ride. It is a 96 Arerostar, XLT, 4LV6. From what I read it is a short someplace. Where are the crash sensors and how do you check them for "shorts"? I don't understand much about the whole system.
