Camry :: 2006 XLE Won't Go Into Programming Mode

I have a 2006 Camry XLE and I had to replace the battery on the keyless entry remote. I am trying to get it to link back up but all internet searches tell me to go through a process of opening and closing the doors to get the car into "programming mode".
I have tried the sequence several times and I cant get my car to go into "Programming mode" as this website suggests but my car does not respond to that sequence. Am I doing something wrong? How do you get your car to link back up with the keyless remote?

I purchased a used toyota camry 2006 2.4 LE. They key fob doesn't work since I got it, so I thought maybe the key fob battery is dead or the key fob itself is damaged. I searched for how to program they key fob and found some instructions, but it doesn't work. I can't get the car to enter the programming mode for the key fob(it should lock and unlock automatically as tutorials point out). Where to start tackling this problem?

I have tried to program 2006 Toyota camry for remote key activation .. but after all the steps completions the locks are not responding to activate the remote key.
Have tried many times as shown in videos but car not responding.

I have a new keyfob for my wife's 2000 X, and I'm trying to program it. The procedure is simple, right? Get in the truck, put the key in the ignition, lock the doors, unlock the doors, then cycle it to the run position (back of off), 8 times -- staying in "run" the eighth time.
I've done this OVER and OVER after my wife said it wouldn't work for her. The problem is that when you hit run the 8th time, the locks should cycle, indicating that it is ready to program the remote. The problem is the locks never cycle.
I also tried the same procedure without the locking and unlocking step prior to turning the key. And I also tried it by locking and unlocking prior to inserting the key.

Have already fixed the weak lock motors on my 2000 F250. Now I can't get the truck to go into programming mode. I know it has Keyless entry, as I located the relays and identified the wiring while trying to fix the weak locks before I found the fix here.
I've tried the key on off 8 times but the locks never cycle. I've tried it with the driver door open and closed, cycling the locks from unlocked to locked to unlocked before cycling the ignition switch. Tried cycling the ign switch 5 times, 8 times and 10 times.

I just bought a used car 2005 toyota camry with remote car starter which works fine. I bought the keyless fob from ebay and tried to program it using youtube video but my car wouldn't go in programming mode.

I have a 2006 Avalon XLS. Great car. Came with 1 cut master key and 2 remotes. I bought two blanks off amazon with the right transponder chip and had them cut for $5. Now I need to use my master to program the transponders in the two new keys. Or to get the car to recognize the two new keys to start it. They just turn and crank right now.
Any way to do this without the dealer? Mine wants $120 for programming. I do have the black master key.
I have tried the whole master key on off six times and open close drivers door five times deal. I cannot get my security light to stay on to accept new keys.

Had the Camry today and just messing around with the buttons. What is this eco mode "on" "off" feature? I accessed it from pressing and holding the odo button on the dash.

Test drove a purported APR Stage 2+ car today. It had tons of power, so there's definitely a tune on it. However, I wasn't getting any response when I played with the cruise switch to see if it would swap programs.
There's no paperwork on the mods, I can see the full APR exhaust and a R intake, but nothing on the tune. If you scan the car with VAG-COM can you tell what tune is on it?
Do all the APR tunes come with the map switching ability/multiple maps? Or is this the case where maybe only 1 APR tune was put on the car so there's nothing to switch to?
Also, how can you confirm if the car has the fuel pump upgrade?

Owner of a 2004 Phaeton V8, fully loaded. First, I am having a problem programming my homelink system, and I have already read every single thread on the forums about it, read the relevant pages of the manual, and even referenced the homelink website to no avail.
Anyways, the problem is this: When I hold down the 1 & 3 buttons for any period of time, nothing happens. I have held it down for 20 seconds, 40 seconds, 2 minutes, 2 hours (not really)... nothing makes a difference. I was originally wondering if perhaps I did not have a homelink system or maybe there was some kind of problem with it. I have also tried the single button programming method. No matter what I do, those lights will not light up (or if I have my headlights turned on, they will not blink).

I have just purchased a 2000 Passat 1.8 mfg 2/29/2000. I have no keys. I will have to get keys made and want to know if they require special programming. Dealer said its on fence maybe maybe not. Depends on when built. Any other info about what to look for would be nice. I look forward to being able to contribute in the future. For now I'm a newbie.

Programming the homelink feature? Apparently VW has issued an amendment to the manual for VINs greater than 11XXX. Unfortunately, mine is in the 5XXX range.

So the problem occurs while I am driving with cruise control on . Suppose I am driving at the speed of 80mph with 1300rpm, few seconds after I come downhill the rpm shifts to 2000 and comes back to 1300. Now I understand that the rpm will increase as I go up in order to maintain the speed but this problem occurs once I come downhill
And today also while driving without cruise control on I experienced the similar problem. I got a SE V6.

I was able to program my GX into the garage opener but it deletes my Camry. As soon as I program the Camry it deletes the GX. Strange. I was able to have both cars when I had the ML320.

My 2000 excursion will not enter the program mode to allow me to program 2 new remote fobs. A couple of years ago I successfully programmed two remotes and it was easy. One broke so I thought well I will buy 2 more. I have tried the procedure over 100 times and I can not make it work. Followed instructions to a tee that came with the fobs and also the procedure in owners manual. Is there a relay that could be bad? I can use the door number code and my last key fob still works fine. I have disconnected the battery, both cables, held them together for 1 minute and left them off for 1/2 hour. Still no luck.

Okay here's the story I bought a 99 Ford Ranger with a bad 4.0 engine. I had a newer 2002 4.0 and tranny out of another Ford Ranger thought it be an easy swap put the newer engine in and it will only run on the original Older ecm (but ruff) and the older ECM is screwing with the transmission (no reverse) unplug connections at tranny and i have reverse. So I buy a ECM from a junkyard for the 2002 and drop it off at the dealership to have the Pats programmed. and the dealership says they can't program it to make it run. They say the Pats are different from 99 to 2002. So I go another route I buy an SCT performance chip and have them disable the Pats. still won't run.

I only have one key and 2 FOBs for my 2005 Escape, but I do have the key number (4 digits plus a letter). I understand I need more than one to program another myself. Is there an inexpensive way to obtain/program a backup key?

I have just bought a camry-LE 2010 that has high millage on it which is 120,000mi. when i tested the car, it seemed fine but after long drive I discoverer something. When i am driving at speed 45 - 50 and stabilize the pressing of the accelerator, I feel the car shaking for few second then return back to its normal mode . I do not why I feel something wrong with the engine.
