So my beloved 03'Camry was developing a bulge for sometime and now the bulge has cracked open around the passenger side airbag. I am taking the car to stealership next week, but I would rather hear from you guys from TN.
How bad is this crack, rather rapture around the edges of airbag and the dash?Should I be alarmed?
I know i should probably go to the dealer but just want to know what's going on before going there. Basicly someone kicked my passenger side seat, and now the AIRBAG OFF light is on and the seatbelt sensor for the passenger side is not working. i.e if i remove the seat belt while driving the sound wont come on and the light indicating seatbelt is not on (is always on).
View 3 RepliesEvery time I start the truck, the Passenger Side Airbag light is on, which is saying the airbag is turned "OFF." I have to push the button to turn the light off, which turns the airbag "ON." How do I reset this to where the airbag is "ON" until I turn it "OFF?"
View 8 RepliesI purchased a 2012 Camry SE V6 end of December 2011. I really like the car's performance but have an annoying issue.
Above the driver's position, I hear short popping or cracking sounds when the car is moving and going over bumps or when the road twists. This sounds like a body structural issue and comes from the roof area to the left of the sunroof. This happens less often when it is sunny and more often when it is not sunny so the cooler metal may be the issue. The noise sometimes stops altogether when it is sunny or after the car has been driven for an hour. Once it sits for a couple of hours on an overcast day, the annoying pop/crack will start up again.
The door panel was replaced but the problem continued.
I just did TSB036-07 on my 07 I4 for the sluggish problem. It turns out very good. Now I got another problem right after that fix, the "Passenger Airbag Off" light is always on even with an adult (over 150 lb) sitting there. I suspect they touched some wires during the TSB service. I will certainly take it back to the dealer and report it back to you. Searching the forum, I saw one reported that the ECU has to be replaced to fix it.
View 5 RepliesMy 03 Camry is blowing cold air on the passenger side while the heat is on. The drivers side blows hot air as it should. The coolant is full. Its a 4cyl LE and does not have dual climate control.
View 14 RepliesThe Passenger Airbag Off light is always on no matter if the passenger seat is empty or has someone sitting in it. It magically went away for a year and worked perfectly and now it came back to haunt me. I tried pulling all connections to the seat and cleaning them with an electrical cleaner, but the light is still on. What else can cause Airbag Off light to turn on?

Is his weight too low to trigger the sensor? Or is it something to refer to the dealer? This query is for a 2013 RX350 with about 1,700 miles on it.

When a passenger sits in the front seat, the air bag "on" signal is illuminated, which stays on and I think this is normal. My question is should the passenger air bag light stay illuminated even if no passenger is in the front seat? Any easy solutions or am I worrying about nothing?

Quick question about the air bag light function for the passenger seat. When no one is sitting in the seat it does not display "on" or "off" by the clock. When I sit in the seat it displays "on" Shouldn't the light always display "off" if no one or someone too light is sitting in the seat? Is this normal, or is there something wrong with the sensors in the seat?

One thing I noticed is that even when I am driving by myself the yellow passenger airbag off light is always illuminated. Is this normal? I couldn't find anything in the settings. I would think it should flash a couple times then turn off.

View 5 RepliesIs the code model AND year specific? I have a 2004 Explorer. Can clear this up? I already cleaned the yellow connectors under both seats and I still have the LFC. I have started the truck 3 times since then and cycled the key about 6 times to see if it would clear. I got a rejection sticker today and need to fix it ASAP.
View 14 RepliesI started my car and noticed that something under the hood was very loud. It sounded as if there was a large fan left on high and I was right. The passenger side radiator fan doesn't come on. The drivers side does though and yet there is no overheating! Ive taken short 15 mile trips here and there but the temperature gauge stays right in the middle. If i give this radiator fan motor a good whack with a screw driver, it comes right on. What it could be? Does it need a motor replacement? Could it actually be the relay if when I give it a whack, it comes on?

However my passenger airbag stays off and the passenger seatbelt light blinks even when there's nobody sitting in the seat. When Someone does sit in the passenger seat with a seatbelt on, the light continues to blink along with the Airbag light showing off. How can I resolve this without going to the dealership?
