Azera TG (2006-11) :: ESC Light On And Steering Stiffness

I have a 2006 Azera Limited with 180k miles. I just replaced the rack & pinion, inner tie rods, outer tie rods, front axles, and the valve cover gasket over the weekend. I had the alignment done this morning.
Although there are no more leaks (p/s fluid from rack and pinion and motor oil from valve cover gasket), I did notice a couple of things. First, the "ESC off" light off comes on when I start driving. The light is turned off when I start the car. Second, the steering feels a bit firm. It was softer before the parts were replaced. Shouldn't it be the other way around (firm before replacing the parts and soft after replacing them)?

05 F250 4x4 6.0... Lately, I have noticed a little stiffness in my steering. Mainly when I turn left - it just feels like the truck doesn't want to come back to center like it should...almost like a tire is low on air (they're not - I checked) or a tire has laid over.
I have checked power steering fluid and looked at all bushings underneath. Any chance that the steering stabilizer could be causing this issue? Also...do these trucks not have any grease fittings in the front end? I have looked twice and still haven't found any (in my defense, I haven't had the truck very long)...

When i start the car ticks randomly under the steering wheel it sound for the left side fuse box to the ignition key but i can located for sure because stop in 5 or 6 seconds, and just do it when i start the car and then just go away.

Is it only me having this annoying problem that above 100km/h the steering wheel starts vibrating - sometimes less, sometimes more. I had the vehicle taken to the Dealership several times where the guys first tried to balance and adjust the wheels and afterwords they changed all 4 tyres (KUMHO) + one rim but still the vibration (sometimes resembles mild shaking like driving on rough roads) is there. Don't know if this is normal or I am just too demanding but can't remember experiencing such thing with my previous cars like audi, citroen, etc...

I got my 08 Azera Limited two weeks ago (it's a used vehicle, less than one year old with only 7,500 miles on it.... it's a Carmax car, but after the purchase I got it checked through by a dealer and everything seems to be fine. Interior looks and smells like new, 3 minor scratches in the paint which have been fixed... nothing else. considering i paid less than 20k, not a bad deal).
However, I noticed a few things (within the past two weeks):
1) power steering noise. When the engine is on (the car can be in park or drive) and I start moving the steering wheel (even if I move it only VERY slightly), I can hear a softly grinding/whining noise.... it occurs when i move the wheel right or left. when the car is moving faster than lets say 20mph ... you tend not to hear it because other noises (wind, street, engine) cover it up. But it's clearly there when you drive very slowly and it's quiet (parking garage etc).
The PS fluid is ok and i cannot detect any leaks. I assume the noise is a "noisy" PS pump or it's the pressure in the PS system which makes those whiny noises.
2) rattles. I read most of the rattles post here and I have to admit, that my 08 Azera has some rattles too. Nothing serious, but it shows that the Azera is not quite Lexus class.
The most annoying rattle i have is in the drivers door. it comes from the speaker area (the upper speaker in the drivers door) and something in there seems to rattle. It's most obvious when I go less than 60mph and the pavement/street is bad - there are vibrations in the car. unfortunately i don't think i can fix that rattle without opening the speaker cover or so. wonder if hyundai fixes rattles after the 12 month adjustment warranty??
The second rattle I have is the center speaker in the dashboard. if i go on vibrating pavement less than 40mph i can sometimes hear that speaker rattle... if i put the hand on it, it disappears for a while and then comes back again.... unfortunately roads here in texas do suck big time (concrete pavement patchwork with lots of holes....) and so I can hear that rattle a few times on my way to work.
The most annoying rattle came from the back seats but was in fact the tool box on the spare tire in the trunk. i turned that plastic piece on the spare tire a few degrees until it fit better and the rattle disappeared. if it comes up again i will try to put a blanket on top of the spare tire. it's interesting who much noise comes from the trunk into the main cabin.
I haven't had any suspension problems so far and I think the Azera suspension is quite stiff but very sporty. Back in Germany I had a 06 Audi A4 TDi as a company car and the A4 suspension was somewhat comparable to the Azera.

My '06 3.8 Azera limited is making noises when the steering is turned to the extreme and slowly rolling forward (EG. parking). Happens in both directions, I've been told it might be the CV joint, what it could be before I run over to the dealer?

I was sitting at a red light and when I got ready to turn left my car died and everything locked up. When I looked down I had a message flashing that said recharge battery! I drive a 2006 Hyundai azera. I cant get under the hood because my hood latch broke inside my car. What does the code mean for recharge battery? Was it because it was raining and maybe got wet??

I own a 2006 Hyundai Azera and my air bag dash light stays on after I start the car and while driving. I understand that there was a TSB for the passenger side airbag but not the driver's side air bag? I called the dealership and they told me that since I have over 60K miles, it is not covered under waranty. I have also read that there are air bag sensor wires under the driver's side seat and this could be the source of the problem. Is it easy to get under the driver's seat to access the air bag sensors?

Ok I have looked the site over and have a question. My 2009 Azera Limited has a ghost in it. Totally randomly the TPMS (letters) light just comes on and stays on just as randomly. I took it in and the tech said there were several self clearing codes but non specific. He asked me if I had a air freshener plugged in... I looked at him like he needed a drug testing. He went on to explain he had another customer who had one and every time he plugged it in the TPMS would light and when he unplugged it it would go away.
Nothing is plugged in or sometimes something is plugged in and it makes no difference! That light comes on whenever it wants and it is driving me batty!

Rough start like some thing missing, check engine light came on, shut off car checked my oil, ok, restart runs smooth but check engine light stays on, went to dealer 8 mile drive, car ran fine ????

My check engine light came on again tonight. I recently had it checked and it was a bad O2 sensor and was replaced under warranty. I took it to Autozone tonight, as the dealer was closed, and it came back a troublecode of P0110. They did not have that specific code for the Hyundai, but for the other cars (Toyota, Mazda, Kia, Lexus) it is saying IAT sensor or Intake Air Temperature circuit. It is saying possible open or short circuit, faulty iat sensor, or faulty ecm.

No matter what i do, I cannot get the box dead center of the nav display, saying "safe driving!" to clear.
And yes: in the settings page I have unchecked the box for that warning (it is supposed to keep you from playing with the nav system while driving.)

On my 2006 Azera Limited with about 27,000 miles on it. Occasional hard shift issue. Normally the car is only driven 10 miles a day to and from work no problem. But on longer trips have hard a few instances of hard shift.
The first time this hard shift bump occurred was when I was driving on city streets 2 minutes after getting off the freeway after a 2 hour drive. On a scale of 1-10 this was a #5 bump like feel followed by a #3 bump in the next few minutes while accelerating from a signal light. There were no further bumps that day, even after another 2 freeway drive.
The second time the #3 bump happened was on an on ramp after a 3 hour freeway drive and a short rest stop. No further bumps that day even after another 3 hour freeway drive.
The last time this #3 bump happened was on a city street after a 45 minute freeway drive. No further bumps on the return trip. I am not sure which gears this bump happens between.
I have no MIL set. So I took it too a transmission shop and they could not find anything wrong but said there was a code C1616 CAN Bus Off Failure. His opinion was that this problem maybe an electrical issue.

2006 Azera air bag light stays on all the time in the speedo cluster panel when I start the car. Is it a fuse problem, sensor problem etc? Is it covered under the recent recall?

I have a 96 GMC safari (Geneva). She just took me for a 17,000 mike road trip! Without a single problem. In California I nearly destroyed her bc I had no idea about engine breaking and I road the hell out of her brakes. So I replaced the calipers rotors shoes lines and fluid. Had a great trip on them cross country back to the FL keys. Since back I have had trouble with the brakes not functioning. Stiffness in the brake pedal and not reliable braking. Took her in recently and had both front ABS Boosters and sensors replaced. Now the brakes are holding and I could smell burning rubber after driving home from the mechanics. My mechanic has no clue what's going on and is suggesting I out new calipers on but is unsure that's actually the problem.

Traded my 06 Sonata for a used 2012 Azera Tech last month
White with chestnut, 23k miles. Went 12 rounds with the dealer . We finally came to an agreement.
Only one complaint with it. The steering is lousy. Feels numb, wanders, constant attention needed. Very tiring.
Wanted an Azera when I bought the Sonata, but price to much. So while I'm disappointed with the handling, (even the wife noticed the steering ) the rest of the car lives up to expectations.

Whenever I start or turn off the car and the steering column moves into its position at the time, it makes an odd noise. It's beginning to do it all the time. It's really hard to describe what it sounds like. Is this normal or could lead to another issue down the road?

I've been experiencing a regular feeling of the engine "missing" in my seat when in Drive, stopped at a light. I listen carefully and it just doesn't sound super smooth like my wife's Acura. The Acura has over 160k miles on it...so getting this from a new car is worrisome. The vibration is in the seat and steering wheel.
I tried different gas, higher octane, different brands - no change.

My 06 azera will not crank or start some times. I put the Key in and nothing happens. The lights and radio all the bells and whistles work but the car wont start or crank. I turn the key and nothing, just silence. I take the key out and wait for 2 to 5 minutes at most then the car starts. I have taken it to the dealer and because the problem will not replicate itself for them, they can not fix it.
