Touareg :: 2006 - Power Driver Seat Won't Stop Moving

I bought a set of Ranger seats for my 1957 Ford project. My question is the drivers side seat reclining mechanism is broke. I believe the seats are out of an STX or sport model, they have a slide out bolster and power lumbar and side bolsters.
Where to get a replacement mechanism. The mechanism works the handle is busted off. It is from an extra cab so the handle is a two way for the driver and or if anyone in the back wanted to use it. I think they may be from a 1992, only say this because I had one backin the day with these kind of seats.
Touareg :: Disable Driver Seat From Moving All The Way Back When Ignition Switched Off
Is there any way to disable the driver seat from moving all the way back when the ignition is switched off and the door is opened? The seat being all the way back makes it much more difficult to get my son in and out of his child seat in the back. Also, I'm not obese nor do I have mobility problems so the seat moving out of the way is a complete waste for me!

I have a 2007 Azera . About a week ago when I was going to sit in the car I noticed that driver seat leaned completely forward , I didn't pay attention to it and put it back but today When I was driving the the highway the driver seat suddenly started to leaning forward and push me in to the steering wheel, and the switch didn't work to put it back until It reach forward dead end . when I stopped the car and turn it off I could put it back with it's switch , also the seat memory's were erased . I happen 2 times in the highway then I decided to remove the seats fuse.

Noticing that my drivers seat is taking a long time to heat up. I usually warm up the car in the winter, and turn on the seat heater. The seat is still cold when I get in, and does not heat up until I go a few miles. Have to check and see if the passenger is doing the same thing.

I have an 06 Azera LTD with about 40k on it. Recently the passenger power seat stopped working. Only going forward, all other directions work. Now the seat is all the way back with no way to move it up. Can't be a fuse, but maybe a loose connection?

The middle sliding seat has jammed and I cannot get it back into the regular sitting position. I don't see any obvious obstructions, but there are a couple of springs not attached, and I may be missing a connecting rod.

Camry :: 2006 - Power Seat Rubbing When Moving
I have a 2006 Camry and the front driver seat is making a rubbing/friction noise when moving it forward and backward- mainly in the back half track, and of course it is worse when sitting on the seat.
I checked closely and it seams that the seat has a little wiggle side to side when moving on the track. Not sure if this is normal (the wiggle) and if it just needs lubrication, or a track adjustment? It started last week and sounded worse yesterday when sitting on it.
The motor and all other seat functions work/sound fine.

Squeaky springs from the seat back on the driver's seat? I know it's not the seat cushion because as soon as I lean back on the seatback, it squeaks. It's driving me crazy now when I hit a bump or travel over rougher pavement.

My wife's power drivers seat will only move forward not back. Fuses all look good and the passenger seat operates fine. If this continues and she hits the button again she will need to be shorter than the 5' she is already. No chance at this point I can fit in the car.

I have a 2007 S60. Other day my wife was driving when the driver's seat started moving all by itself - moved all the way forward and stopped which was very frightening while you are doing 110 kmh! Nothing caught in the switches on the side, switches were not wet (shorting). I took it out later but nothing happened until I got out, locked the door and watched as the seat started to move and again did not stop until it was all the way forward! Lucky I wasn't driving - I'm 6'3" and it would have been very uncomfortable. I moved it back, locked 'er up and by the time I got back to the car 30 minutes late, it had happened all over again.

I have a 2012 Azera and when I enter and exit the vehicle, the driver seat will automatically move forward and backward. My wife had complained the seat would not go forward. Today I was looking for something under the seat. It went all the way back but will not go forward. Also up and down does not work.. Am I screwed or might this be a fuse? Strange, I would have thought the Driver seat would have failed first.

I have a 2007 Azera with a sunroof problem. Went to open the sunroof and found out it would not slide back, it would only lift up in the back. Went to close it and it would lower some, but not all the way. It goes to lower but then there is a click in the mechanism and it won't close completely. Tried the manual close to no avail.

I have an 06 Trailblazer with power seats. Moved the pass. seat up to fit something in the back. When went to put seat back into position it would not move back. The reclining function on the seat back is working. Is it unheard of for the seat motor to go bad or is it possibly just off track, or something?
