Looking for access to all the airbag light OBD II codes for the 2006 Hyundai Azera? My airbag light is illuminated on the dash board and I would like to isolate the issue.

Yesterday out of nowhere the red Airbag light on the dash illuminated when I started the car. This has never happened before. I tried turning the car off and on, but it just came back.
The light comes on normally, then goes out. It then comes right back on at the same time the "passenger airbag off" light illuminates.
I made a quick check of the connections under the passenger seat and none seemed loose. I'm planning on taking a closer look and disconnecting/reconnecting the terminals to see if anything is obviously wrong.
I'm pretty mad that my Sonata has another problem. It only has 80k miles. I've owned it just over one year and I've had the following problems:
-fuel overflowing. I haven't been able to sort this one out yet.
-OCV failure. I replaced it myself.
-Lots of ABS and brake warning lights. Dealer eventually told me I needed a new ABS pump for nearly $2000.
-Now this airbag problem.
I'm definitely very dissatisfied with the reliability of this car. If I had it to do over again, I definitely would have spent a little more to get another brand. This has been the most unreliable car I've owned in my 13 years of driving.
I finally found the Prius I wanted. It's used. 2006. Gen II 220k miles. Bought at auction almost completely dead and no gas. After adding gas and driving so the main battery charges. It starts up great however the dash looks a little scary with nearly every warning light on.
View 19 RepliesI have a 2003 Montana which has the airbag light illuminated. Also no matter if the seat belt is locked in or not - no seat belt light ever comes on. I have a code scanner but it doesn't scan airbag codes.

One thing I noticed is that even when I am driving by myself the yellow passenger airbag off light is always illuminated. Is this normal? I couldn't find anything in the settings. I would think it should flash a couple times then turn off.

View 1 Replies2012 Elantra GLS. Wife comes home and says the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light on the dash is lit. I check the tire pressure. None abnormally low but I decide to top them off. Notice that two of the valve stem caps are broken. The tips are broken off so I can see the little red gasket. On opposite sides of the car. No damage to the wheel covers. The valve stems don't stick out past the wheel covers so I wonder how the caps could have gotten broken. Could that be why the TPS system is giving me a warning? If by chance there was a pressure issue does the light reset itself or does the dealer have to do it?
View 19 RepliesThe air bag light on the dashboard has come on. I took the car into my dealership. The upshot is they said they'd have to rip the interior apart to track the problem or "Break in the floor wiring harness."
View 19 RepliesI have a problem with Airbag light - it blinks in the dashboard. The dealer turned it off twice (by connecting their computer) but it came back again. I'm pretty sure (and the dealer thinks the same) the problem is related to wiring because the light does not blink sometimes. And, when it does not blink, sometimes it starts blinking again, especially when I drive fast and make a "sharp turn" (hope that makes sense).
So far, I only know the faulty airbag is in the driver's seat (the dealer told me so). Since they turn the light off and it comes back again later, they suggest me leaving the car in the service, so they can remove the driver's seat and check the issue.
Starting a couple of days ago, I am getting the airbag fault light on the dashboard. Can't seem to explain why. I have never changed any wiring on the car, nor installed aftermarket electronics. I have the car for about a year now. At the time when the light came on, the weather outside was very cold.

View 8 RepliesThe other night after starting the car I noticed that the dashboard was not illuminated. When I moved the headlight switch to the "headlight" setting from the "automatic" setting--the dashboard lights went on.
When I moved the switch back to automatic, the dashboard lights went off again. Adjusting the intensity using the appropriate switches did nothing. An hour later everything worked normally once again.
I have a 2006 manual Hyundai accent with 82,000 kms. In the last couple of days the mil has illuminated so i took it to a mechanic who put it on the computer which he says it could be sucking air or bad fuel or many other things. He did cancel the light which stayed out for about 70 kms and its back on its not flashing just illuminated. Can this do any damage to the motor if still driving.

View 2 RepliesWhen I insert the key, there is current to the dashboard and the steering wheel moves into position. When I try to start the car, the dashboard is illuminated- the radio comes on etc- but the starter does not engage all. It's totally quiet. I remove the key, insert the key and try again. Sometimes the starter engages, sometimes not. When it cranks, it starts right up. The battery is good. We had the ignition switch changed out a while back, but it didn't really improve the situation.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2006 Azera Limited with 180k miles. I just replaced the rack & pinion, inner tie rods, outer tie rods, front axles, and the valve cover gasket over the weekend. I had the alignment done this morning.
Although there are no more leaks (p/s fluid from rack and pinion and motor oil from valve cover gasket), I did notice a couple of things. First, the "ESC off" light off comes on when I start driving. The light is turned off when I start the car. Second, the steering feels a bit firm. It was softer before the parts were replaced. Shouldn't it be the other way around (firm before replacing the parts and soft after replacing them)?
I was sitting at a red light and when I got ready to turn left my car died and everything locked up. When I looked down I had a message flashing that said recharge battery! I drive a 2006 Hyundai azera. I cant get under the hood because my hood latch broke inside my car. What does the code mean for recharge battery? Was it because it was raining and maybe got wet??
