It appears something has fallen behind the lid to my cup holder, it won't fully open. Not a big fan of the design here, looks like the while center console has to be opened up.
View 1 RepliesSo my gf parked at the mall and when she pulled out the front bumper got stuck on the parking divider and came off on the left side. One of the fastening holes appears to be torn and it appears the bumper just needs to be put back in place.
View 8 RepliesTried to close the top and it stuck. The deck lid is up, top is half- way unfolded, package tray is in up position. The motor acts like it is binding with ever so slight movement when I push the button to raise or lower. The red light on the dash switch is lit (red).
View 14 RepliesIn my 2010 Elantra, I have the 2 cup holder in the middle with the flap/lid cover that retracts into the side when opening. It seems a pen has gone down in that groove so now the lid does not open enough to get a drink into the holder. Any tips on getting the pen out from the bottom of the channel where the lid folds into??

View 8 RepliesMy 2003 F150 "ash tray/cup holder" won't open unless I stick a screwdriver behind the edge and pry. I know this can't be right. There are small letters on the front of it that says push. Why would I push to make it open? I can't figure out how to get it out of the dash to see what is wrong.

View 1 RepliesThe sunglasses holder on my GTI 2011 was rattling for years. I saw many other people complained about the issue and some even had fixed it themselves. The dealership obviously couldn't work... I was finally able to fix mine today....
In my case it rattled usually on low RPM as I'm accelerating and both with or without sunglasses inside. The radio had no effect. I found that pressing on the right side of the sunglasses holder would stop the rattling, but as soon as I let go it started back up.
I tried a few things and I even took out the entire unit using this guide, but it didn't work.
What did work was adding padding on the right rim of the pop-out drawer itself. The left rim of the drawer has a little bar that prevents any movement there. The right rim doesn't. Adding some padding on the right rim to prevent movement on that side solved the issue for me. I used some tape for the padding.
I have a 2011 SE and the sunglass holder on the ceiling will not stay in the up position. When I first purchased the car it stayed up with nothing in it but when I had a normal pair of glasses in it after the sun beat on it for a little while it would come down on its own, but now even with nothing in it, it just opens back up every single time I close it. It looks like the little plastic "arm" with a metal pin in it on the right side is just sitting there and should be attached to it some how but I can't see how to/where to put it in the holder itself.
View 48 RepliesNoticed cup holders above the transmission a little warm. I have a 2011 hyundai sonata se; when I drove a regular sonata I didn't notice the cup holder getting as warm as my car.
I have also started to notice that the transmission shifts into 1st gear a little harsh vs the rental sonata as well. I did do my own transmission drain and fill with Amsoil fluid. Why its shifting like this?
My wife and I have an 08 Azera GLS. Been to the dealer for a few things. I guess the biggest was a TSB about Timing chain guides. Also replaced the TPS sensor. Transmission had a down shift shutter.
My question is the left front door creaks when open all the way. Mechanic a dealership said he had the door off of the car and believe that "the metal layers the hinges bolt through have become slightly separated and rubbing or creaking when reaching the end of its travel". He believes they will have weld the body or something. There is only 12000 km on the Azera.
Bought a used 2007 Azera Limited last week. Yesterday, the car was parked outside and there were thunderstorms but I didn't hear the car alarm go off. Today, I was unable to get into my car. The locks wont open from the remote or using the key. Wonder whats wrong !
Even the emergency alarm (red button on the remote) won't work. I can see a red blinking light from the top of the dash that indicates that the car is locked.
My 2007 Azera trunk no longer stays open. In fact, if I open it the trunk lid will come crashing down. I assume that there are struts and/or a spring that has failed.
View 6 RepliesI have a 2008 Hyundai Azera and out of nowhere the moonroof quit working. It is almost closed - only 1/2 inch open - so I can live with it but would like to fix it. My mechanic said that the problem was software that only the dealer could fix. Called my 2 local dealers and they were absolutely clueless.

Traded my 06 Sonata for a used 2012 Azera Tech last month
White with chestnut, 23k miles. Went 12 rounds with the dealer . We finally came to an agreement.
Only one complaint with it. The steering is lousy. Feels numb, wanders, constant attention needed. Very tiring.
Wanted an Azera when I bought the Sonata, but price to much. So while I'm disappointed with the handling, (even the wife noticed the steering ) the rest of the car lives up to expectations.
I started my car last evening and it hesitated and balked and the check engine light came on. It started fine this morning, but would not go above 30mph even with accelerator down all the way. I checked the diagnostic codes from Bluelink and it said there is a possible condition with my Engine Control System and should be checked soon. The car only has 4,000 miles and has been fine until now.
View 5 RepliesI've had my '12 Azera for about 6 weeks. One issue with the car is the inside of the windshield on the driver's side won't stay clean. I can clean it and the next day it has a film on it. The longer I leave it, the bigger the area gets. I've tried all different types of cleaners with no better results. I had a GM car that did this, was told it was from the gases escaping the plastic molding inside the car near the windshield. The Azera doesn't have that. I'm puzzled why it's doing it and how to stop it.
View 18 RepliesEvery time I start my 2013 Azera there is a rattling of the valves like there is no oil in the top end. I have heard other owners complaining about this so I asked my dealer when I went in for an oil change. The last three changes I have asked and he told me the same thing, there is nothing being reported. So I got my oil changed and went home. Parked the car for 6.5 ~ 7 hours and when I started it up the sound was louder than ever. I called the dealer back and told them. They asked me to leave it overnight so they could hear the noise for them selves. I dropped the car off that evening.
I got a call the first thing in the morning and they said that their tech did hear something and they were going to test it again in two hours and call me back. They called back and said they believed it was the CAM phasers. They gave me the car back while they ordered parts and rounded up a loaner. I dropped it off on Thursday.
Two weeks later (today) I picked the car up. Here is what they did. It turned out to be the CAM Phasers so when they got in there they also had to replace the CAM shafts (All 4) as well. I am sure there was more going on than what they told me, after all they had the car for two full weeks!
