View 1 RepliesMy 2014 Azera has a rattling on the driver's side. I'm pretty sure that when I open the door a half inch or so while driving the noise stops. It doesn't happen all the time and seem to vary in intensity. I'm having a hard time locating the source.
View 17 RepliesI recently purchased a 2006 Hyundai Azera which has developed a rattling sound upon cold start up. Based on service bulletin 06-20-002 I believe the issue is with the timing chain tensioners. I am looking at getting a DNJ TK147 timing set kit to replace them with. Do this kit contains the updated tensioners? It is located on rockauto.
View 4 RepliesI started my car last evening and it hesitated and balked and the check engine light came on. It started fine this morning, but would not go above 30mph even with accelerator down all the way. I checked the diagnostic codes from Bluelink and it said there is a possible condition with my Engine Control System and should be checked soon. The car only has 4,000 miles and has been fine until now.
View 5 RepliesI bought my wife a new 2014 Azera and we like it a lot but it seems to have a bounce at low speeds 0-20 mph, mainly when starting driving. It might seem to be a tire flat spot, but she only has 1,100 miles so far and it has always been there.
View 13 RepliesI had a low tire and TPMS light came on. I filled all tires to recommended settings + 1 lb. 34 lbs. The light still doesn't reset what can be done to reset it?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2014 Azera Limited and find it odd that the trunk doesn't have some kind of hydraulic system and just swings open so loosely, especially for a luxury car. Either way, my trunk makes a a creaking sound when fully opened and then again when I start to pull down from the fully opened position. Just wondering if this is normal. It just sounds cheap and is kind of annoying.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2 month old 2011 Camry LE. Really disappointed by the quality of interiors. A rattling sound comes on and off from both the B-pillars as if something is lying loose in pillar. Have tried pulling both seat belts to the max multiple times, adjusting seat belt heights but all in vain.
View 14 RepliesExperiencing rattling sounds in the interior of any kind? I have for instance, the front passenger seatbelt holder rattles whenever going on bumps or just a rough road. I did play with it to see what was wrong or anything loose, no luck.
Another rattling sound I've been hearing was from the sub in the back. Behind the backseat headrest, keeps rattling whenever a rap song or any genre of music with nice bass kicks in. I have no ML package. Mind you, I have my tremble to max, mid at 2 bars under max, bass at 2 bars under max, and the rattling starts around volume 30. I feel as if something is loose under there. About to download a bass test onto my phone to play through bluetooth, but don't want to blow out my sub at the same time.
I have a 2015 IS350 F-Sport. While accelerating, the engine sounds fine, but it sounds aweful when idling. Don't know how else to describe it other than like a rattling sound...it's just not smooth. Is this "normal" or should i schedule a service appt for my car?
View 5 RepliesI have a 2014 Camry SE with about 30k miles on it. Recently, I notice 2 rattles.
1) When I turn on my car, I hear a rattle/buzz sound for about 10 seconds sounds like its coming from the dash from my passenger side, then the rattle/buzz goes away.
2) There is a constant rattling noise the is coming from my driver side dashboard. I do not hear it on smooth roads but once I go through bumps or cracks on the road the rattle is noticeable and annoying. Sounds like its from the speaker by the windshield but i really cannot tell as i am trying to focus on the road. Maybe its something loose?
I had this plastic on plastic sound on the passenger side dashboard...this started last weekend when it was cold outside and drove me crazy, I looked around and came up with this piece of foam under the hood and windshield bezel next to the hood hinge....After a few field adjustments on this piece of foam I took my truck for a test drive and its gone....for now!
View 2 RepliesSo, I have discovered my first rattle in my GTI (8500 miles). Seems to be from the underside, sounds like a heat shield rattling, certainly sounds metallic. Did some spirited driving yesterday and hear the rattle today. Any target areas to check when I take a look under it?
View 6 RepliesI have 2015 IS350 F sport. At 400 miles I started hearing this static sound which seems to come from the center or the driver side dashboard. I don't hear it if the car is not moving but as soon as I hit 5-10 mph and above, it becomes audible. I tried pressing the dashboard to see if there are loose areas but couldn't find one. Also, I thought they may be coming from the center speaker but the sound doesn't change whether the stereo is on or off. Of note, it is more audible along bumpy roads.
View 6 RepliesNo Beeping sound for passenger seat belt, just flashing sign on the dashboard. Just want to see if this is normal or not? ( I would assume it should not be).
If so, I could go to the dealer and get it fixed. This is for 2013 Sonata GLS.
I have a 2011 F150 FX4 with the traction control. When the tires spin (like taking off on a hill in the rain - that's when i noticed it) and I let off to let everything settle down, I hear a rattling kind of noise coming from the middle dash area, maybe on the engine compartment side of the firewall. It sounds like a rubber ball in a box being jostled around. What this might be?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2011 RX350 and recently noticed rattling sound coming from inside the glove compartment.
I think it comes from the plastic cover of the aircon filter at the back of the glove compartment. This cover seems bit loose even when installed back properly and the vibration (especially when driving over uneven roads) is causing the rattling sound.
I know it's a minor problem but the rattling sound can get irritating at times. My temporary fix is to push back the heavy owner's manual on that cover to prevent vibration.
Speed, RPM gas and temp cluster are black. Wire and cluster contact fixed once each. repair lasted two months. Is it possible for an owner to get at the cluster?
View 4 RepliesSo I got this rattling sound like a piece of tin rattling underneath the truck, it is coming from the front of the transmission area. About 6 months ago the same thing was happening so I took the truck in for some other warranty work and had the dealership check out this rattle. When I picked the truck up I asked and they said it was rocks/gravel caught up underneath and they took them out and the rattle was gone. The truck is a 2010 FX4.
View 12 RepliesLooking for access to all the airbag light OBD II codes for the 2006 Hyundai Azera? My airbag light is illuminated on the dash board and I would like to isolate the issue.
