I'm on the lookout for a set of OEM rims so that I can get snow tires for the winter and just realized that I'll also need a set of Tire Pressure Monitors. What is the part number?

View 2 RepliesI have a check engine light come on in my 07 Avalon and had the car scanned. It was throwing error code P0031. I'm gonna go ahead and replace this O2 sensor, however, I'm having a hard time finding the correct part# for this sensor.
View 1 RepliesI had my tires rotated. About a month after that my tire pressure warning light came on. All tires were perfect expect the rear drivers side needed about 6 pounds of air pressure added. Now all tires are at 32PSI per owners manual recommendation.
The problem is that the tire pressure warning light stays on permanently. I read the owners manual and pressed the button under the steering wheel and the tire pressure light blinked 3 times like it's supposed to during a reset. However......the tire pressure warning light still stays on permanently. It won't go out. I followed the instructions in the manual. Maybe I did something wrong but I don't think so.
I have a 2011 Avalon Limited with 20.000 miles on it. Push button ignition.
When I bought a used camry 5 years ago and drove it on the highway, my front tire busted and damaged the fender cuz it had too much air!! I wonder if it shows high pressure on my 2010 gen III Prius v with ATP. I know that the tires are special on this v version but still I like to keep a slightly higher pressure in the front ones because the lane keep assist feature works better with higher tire pressure. Summer is coming up so that gets me worried what to do with tire pressures.

The Quick Reference guide says /shows a reset switch located to the left of steering wheel . I can't seem to locate this. I have an '11 LTD but without navigation. Did they omit this switch on some models, or do I need a bigger flashlight ?
View 5 RepliesProbably needs to get, f I had a part number for the A/C high pressure cutoff switch, and the 4 wire connector (2006 MY)? I guess for the 6.0L it is actually called "Dual Function Pressure Switch, DFPS".
Was dealing with some chaffing and wanted to add to my "parts list spreadsheet".
Base numbers:
A/C high pressure cutoff switch: 19D594
A/C cycling switch: 19E561
Found the clutch connector part number: Aftermarket - DD1085
Probably need to call this thread "I hate electrical problems also!"
What is the part number for the high pressure oil rail check valves for a 2003 6.0L? I'm referring to the ones that screw into the oil rail. I would like to avoid the local dealer if possible.

View 2 RepliesIs there a way to completely disable the TPM system, I have turned it off in the MFI, but it displays a warning at the top of the screen, always. I put some Porsche 19"wheels on the Touareg without TPM. I took it to the dealer and they were unable to provide a solution.
View 16 RepliesMy TPM light went on coming into work this morning. I did a visual check, everything looked ok. When I got to work got out the old gauge and they all show about 28 psi. The manual states it can go on due to 'natural causes' but doesn't really go into detail. Will it goes on if any/all tires fall below a certain psi? I'll be going back out later to check again to see if one of the tires is going flat.

View 13 RepliesThe Tire Pressure Monitor is now missing off of my menu. I was trying to show a friend tonight and I clicked on it, the screen went black, then the menu came back up minus the TPM. What happened? I have restarted my car and even reset the MFI, but it doesn't work.
View 11 RepliesI have a 2004 Touareg with 70,000 miles, and until recently the tire pressure monitors have worked perfectly. Now I'm getting a Flat Tire warning, or a warning of a defective wheel, or when I try to reset it tries to learn but fails, or it sets a tire pressure of say 42 but the pressure is only 38. The Dealer says "its a known problem", he thinks they're going to issue a recall, but doesn't have a fix.

My question is do I have to replace all four sensors or can I just replace the one?

My tire pressure monitor is acting funky again in cold weather. For the past few days when the weather is around 30s i get flat tyre warning when i first start my car. then after drive for about 5 minutes, it goes away. Seems like once the tire warms up the warning disappeared.
I have standard 18" wheels... currently the tire reading from the MFI is 34 front 37 back. I remember i had them set in the summer for 37 front and 42 back. Should I put more air in? is that why?
I am looking for which model of tire pressure monitor for my 04 VW Touareg. I am looking for the front sensors, I believe they are made by Beru. What is the code and where I can find those (link)?
View 13 RepliesThe window sticker for my '07 Passat 3.6 says that the car has the tire pressure monitoring feature. I have yet to find it, and was not under the impression that I was getting that feature when I was buying car. Seeing it on the window sticker a few months after I got the car surprised me.
But so far I haven't found hide nor hair of it. If I had tire pressure monitoring... where would it be?
I have a 2007 F150 Screw lariat and have swapped the factory 20" wheels for a set of18" FX4 wheels. Question is how do i get the light on the dash to go off?? I swapped these tires and wheels 2 weeks ago and never got a light.. now tonight I get a light? I don't know if the 18" have pressure sensors in them or not..Wouldn't I have gotten a light right away?
View 1 RepliesI just bought a 2008 Highlander. I'm thrilled with the quality of the vehicle so far. This model has a tire pressure monitor system which I can't seem to reset. I've set the pressure in all tires at 34psi and 44 for the spare, and the indicator light will not go out. I press the reset button and the indicator light never blinks to indicate that a reset is in progress.
