View 4 RepliesBoth front seat heaters are not working on my 2009 Avalon XLS. The center console lights do not illuminate. I presume it's not the fuse because according to the owners manual the 7.5A fuse also controls dash light, power outlet and flashers and they all work. Could it be another fuse, or something else? I can use a voltmeter
View 3 RepliesI have a 2014 Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring. The 2 console power outlets stopped working. If it may be a blown fuse how do I get the cover off the fuse box under the dash, just pry it off? I hate to break it.
View 14 RepliesI have a 2011 Limited and the center console and dash around the nav system is very brittle and makes a crinkling noise when touched slightly. I can pop the shifter bazel and all the surrounding plastic off with a slight finger pressure. Over bumps and when I'm driving with side pressure from my legs everything makes noise.

The auxiliary power outlets suddenly went dead. I swapped fuse with no luck.
The ign switch provides power to fuse 25
2005 Camry... I have tried and failed to find how to remove the center console. No bolts in sight.
View 2 RepliesThis weekend I suddenly got a hard vibration from below the center console. This kicks in at about 30kms/h, continues even if I move the car into Neutral and free wheel.
View 2 RepliesJust purchased a used 2008 Avalon from my uncle. The car hasn't been driven much the past few years. I'm driving across country right now from Chicago to Seattle. We are about half way through the trip and I notice that the engine has what appears to be water dripping out near the center of it. I have checked the fluid levels and everything appears to be normal. The coolient is full. I have read that it could be the AC dripping water, however, it is a relatively cool day 45 degrees F at the moment and we just had the heat on in the car. Is this something I should be concerned about?
View 4 RepliesMy 08 center brake light stopped working. I already bought a new one and my mechanic will install it. He said some of those LED brake light needs to be reprogrammed after installation at the dealership but he is not sure until he get it installed. Does the LED assembly needs to be programmed after installation?
View 5 Replies07 Avolon Limited? My A/C goes off at times and it sometimes say Check Air Conditioner on the "Command Center." I took it to Toyota and they replaced the A/C relay for $80.00 and it still does the same thing. The Air is cold coming out of the vents until this happens. Toyota says the next thing is to replace the A/C surpintine belt and next the compressor. The replacement game gets very expensive when it doesn't fix maters!
View 5 RepliesJust bought an '06 Phaeton and have been studying the manuals. The button directly below the clock and above the emergency flasher is labeled as "temperature controls for center air outlets" in manual 3.1.1 and refers you to 3.1.2 for explanation. But there is nothing about it there. Whatsit do? Does it over-ride the temperature set with the climate on the Infotainment screen?
View 2 RepliesProblem just started last night when I turned the defroster on. Now the engine cuts off when the air is turned on at lower speed/rpms.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2005 Avalon ltd. 60,000 mi. I love my car! the low beam
Headlight on the drivers side goes on but then after approx. 30-45 seconds goes out. The passenger side and the brights are ok.
How do you replace the low beam bulb? which bulb do I purchase?
Is there a video showing the way to get at and remove/replace the bulb.
When ignition is turned on the front defrost light blinks fo 30 second before the climate control screen initializes. Then the temp defaults to 75 degrees instead of the last teperatue / mode selected. Only dash vents blow regardless of mode selection. Dealer report was inoperative servo motor. my inspection, visual was that all three servo motors power and move to default position when battery power is restored. It seems that the command to the center servo motor is not correct.
View 1 RepliesThe manual is somewhat unclear on this point. For 2015 SFS, are the interior power outlets (cig/lighters) constantly powered, even when the car is turned off?
View 10 RepliesI have a 05 Avalon XLS and I've just discovered an issue with my climate control. It's that time of year that things are warming up so we started using A/C and found that driver's side vents are blowing warm air while passenger side vents are blowing cold. I've tried varied temps and dual mode on and off as well as auto and manual control. Nothing makes a difference. I suspect some sort of thermostat for the driver's side, but I really have no clue.
View 1 RepliesJust bought a 2005. My wife had turned the car on and had the heater on while I was loading groceries. Then I got in, hit the power button, and the console turned on (though I don't think 'ready' came up), and several of the dash lights came up as amber. ABS, VSC, and 3-4 others. I couldn't shift. After 20 seconds or so of confusion, I turned it back off, sat for a second, and turned it back on again - worked fine.

View 14 RepliesI'm going to be hard wiring a protech cell phone mount at the center vents. I'd like to run a clean install, and ideally tap into the existing 12v socket next to the shifter. It looks like I'll need to take a fair amount apart.
View 2 RepliesThere are two 12V power outlets inside my 2005 Saturn VUE. They always have power available, whether the car is on or not. I'd like to change that. Is there an easy (or somewhat easy) way to make it so that the outlets only deliver power when the ignition switch is in the on position?
View 2 RepliesThe top half of my center console will not close and it appears a piece of metal broke loose from the locking mechanism. (See photos) ....
I have two questions. Is this one of those wear and tear items not covered under the warranty? (I have 13 months left on the OEM warranty). If it is not covered, do I have to replace the whole console or is there a separate part I can buy to fix it myself.
