I occasionally hear a buzzing sound in my driver side door. I turn down the radio to make sure it wasn't the speaker. This noise only last for a few seconds then goes away.

View 3 RepliesA spring popped out of the door pocket in the driver side door when someone tried to clean it pulling it out (which they shouldn't have done). I have the two springs but I need a diagram on how to open the door to get inside the panel to put it back. How the door comes apart ? I can try to guess but you know there is always a trick.

View 4 RepliesOn my sister's 2009 avalon unlimited, the remote will only unlock the rear drivers side door. If the door handle is grasped to unlock the doors, only the rear drivers side door unlocks. On the inside of the car, the drivers side door unlock switch (master switch) does nothing. The passengers side door unlock switch only unlocks the rear drivers side door. The bottom line is that only the rear drivers side door locks and unlocks using the remote or passenger side door unlock button on the inside of the vehicle.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2011 limited and around 41 mph I get a lot of wind noise from the top of the driver side A pillar. I did some research and it seems like it's a known issue. During my research I found there may have been an advisory issued (T-TT-0065-10) by Toyota, but the dealer can't find a record of it.
I've heated the seals / molding around the top of the door and re-fluffed it which didn't work. The seals are doing their job. When I pressure wash the car no water is getting in (never did). Tried sealing the gaps with blue painters tape to stream line the gaps and that didn't work. I'm pretty sure the noise isn't caused by the seal. It's difficult to pinpoint.
I have a 2005 Avalon Limited. A couple of weeks ago I put the car in reverse and I started hearing this loud buzzing noise coming from the rear window area. I narrow it down to the rear window sunshade. It also makes this noise when pressing the button to lower the shade and maybe sometimes rising it. I know it has something to do with the relay or motor when the signal is sent to it to lower it, because a lower the shade signal is sent when the car is put into reverse or button is pushed. How to find the motor or relay without taking the rear seat out. Right now I would rather just disconnect it to stop the annoying buzzing noise. Where can I find a service/maintence manual to maybe find out how to disconnect it.
View 14 RepliesSo, I go out to my car, unlock, open the driver side door... zzzzzzzz (not a hisssssssss) comes from under the car towards the rear suspension. I do not have the air suspension, so I'm guessing that the car thinks I do and probably has modules for it. One of those modules happens to be thinking I do and is trying to lower the car for my entry?
View 4 RepliesI have a 2005 Avalon Limited. Just recently when I have the air turn on, it blows warm/hot air on the drivers side where the passenger side is cold as ice??? What gives??? I have the dual zone feature, and the drivers site is warm weather its on dual zone or regular.
View 7 RepliesI am a new Camry owner. I am very pleased with the vehicle so far, but I've noticed a strange buzzing/static sound coming from my driver's side front door.
I checked to see if anything was in the storage compartment on the doors (all of them in fact) but I saw nothing in there. I turned off the stereo system and I double checked that all the windows were closed, yet the sound persisted for about 5 minutes. This has happened intermittently for several days now, and seems to happen whenever I go over some rough surfaces.
Replaced the battery on my 07 the other day, and subsequently discovered my passenger side power window would not open or close from driver side control switch. Initially thought the worse of course, that I needed a new motor for the passenger side window. Then I tried the passenger side window switch and the window worked fine.
So now, I think that the switch for the passenger side window (on the driver's side) is bad, and I will need to replace the whole switch control module. Did a search and found the root cause and solution to the problem. Apparently, after replacing a battery, I needed to RESET the passenger side switch from the passenger side, by HOLDING the switch approx. 3 seconds after raising and lowering the window two times.
I am not sure where or how or even what parts to buy? It looks like the mirror itself and the wiring is ok and that only the frame or structure that held it on is broken? Is there someone out there that can refer me to a parts diagram or simple instructions that I can follow to fix it?

View 2 RepliesJust picked up my Avalon and the drivers side front door doesn't want to shut. It will latch but won't close all the way. If you give it a hard slam it will. All other doors shut with a gentle push.

We have tried wires, needles and spray air cans but to no effect.
I want to remove the nozzle from under the hood (it is not on top) but do not want to break it.

I need to replace the hub assembly on the rear drivers side of my 2005 Avalon touring. I just need to know if the hub is pressed into the bracket that it is bolted to with 4 bolts or not. I would prefer it be the latter but I just want to know what to do with it. I took it all apart but decided to put it back together once a saw the back end of it seemed to be pressed into the bracket. Maybe it's not, I just need to know how to get the original off and get the new one on.

Headlight on the drivers side goes on but then after approx. 30-45 seconds goes out. The passenger side and the brights are ok.
How do you replace the low beam bulb? which bulb do I purchase?
Is there a video showing the way to get at and remove/replace the bulb.
Twice now I have taken my 2011 Avalon to a drive-thru car wash and had the roof molding pop out of the channel. The first time I had this problem was when I went to a car wash that had large roller brushes that contact the vehicle. When I exited the car wash I saw that the driver's side roof molding had popped out. It was a quick fix to just pop it back in but of course the concern is that it could come all the ways out and be lost either on the road or in the wash bay.
So, for the next wash I took it to a "touchless" wash and when I pulled out the bay I saw that the passenger's side roof molding had popped out of its channel. So, I am guessing that since there are no brushes contacting the car that it is either the power of the blow dryer or the power of the water spray or a combination of all the above that is causing them to pop out.
I am sure this is pure coincidence but we had to have a new battery put in my wife's '09 Avalon. Later in the day we noticed that the front window switch for the passenger window on the drivers side, does not work. The one on the passenger door works fine so it's not the motor. How difficult are these to replace? BTW, the window lock switch is NOT on.
