Had my SE for nearly a year, love it, but noticed that when I hit a bump or pothole in the road with the right wheels, the car moves to the left and I to correct to center again.
It does not happen for the left side (or maybe I don't feel it as much).
95 Buick Lesabre 3.8L. After replacing a broken 6" swaybar strut on the driver's side I noticed a clunking when hitting bumps on the passenger's side. (These sizes are approximate). There is a large thick 2ft long by 4"wide bar behind the front passenger wheel. The bar has 2 large bushings on both ends. The bushings are about 2 1/2" wide. The rubber bushings and support screws or rods are loose. I suspect that this is a piece of subframe. Autozone said that they cannot get the replacement bushings. Where do I get these bushings and should I look for anything else that may be damaged or worn out?
View 1 RepliesI have a 2005 1500 Silverado z71 that has started producing a squalling noise in the front pass side when hitting decent bumps during hunting season. This noise can also be reproduced when bouncing the pass front side. It has 99,000 miles. I'm assuming this is the front pass. shock. The truck came with Black and Red shocks. What brand is this? Also, from what I have read Blistens are most peoples replacement choice. I see they make a HD (4600) model and a (5100) model. My ride is stock height. If this is the problem and what brand/model to replace with? Doesn't Z71's have gas shocks and would this influence which brand to use?

So I was driving home from work today and picked my daughter up from the sitters. When I got back in the car I noticed a "clunking" noise when I would hit small bumps. Trying to figure it out, I also noticed this occur when driving straight and moving the steering wheel back and forth.
The car is a 2012 SE v6 with about 26k on it.
I did install eibach springs about a month ago, but have not had any issues until now. I took both front wheels off and checked anything I would have changed when installing the slings and everything seems okay.
Ok, so I have started to develop this shifting feeling in the rear end when I hit bumps or potholes. It's the worst in potholes. I recently got 2 new tires on the front because they had tread separation (Yokohama avid-s). I was told my other 2 (now on the back) are fine. This car (now with 84000 miles) has moved a likely over-loaded payload and trailer from Oregon to North Dakota and them from ND to Wisconsin within the last year. The struts seem pretty responsive to me pushing down on the rear end.
Could this be struts, sway bar/links/bushings, bearings? (drums on rear), other? What would be the best way to diagnose?
I thought for a hot second to ride in the trunk and have my wife drive over some potholes.
I have 2016 Camry se Spacial Edition, while driving on small bumps from front passenger side. I can hear something hitting like feels like my shock failed or something I can't notice anything from drivers side. I have 18" on it.

I sometimes get that noise while driving over bumps, but oddly, I usually tend to get it when I accelerate and get the engine at a specific RPM (like some sort of resonance frequency issue?!?). What could cause this?
My Accent is making a ticking sound in the rear passenger side. When I slow down it becomes a grinding sound. The car only has 19k. I have scheduled a appointment to get it looked at....
View 2 RepliesMy wife has a 2012 Accent with 23k miles. Within the last few weeks she started having a clunking noise coming from the rear passenger side when going over bumps. I had some time to check the basics (loose lugs, broken exhaust bracket, spare tire, trunk lid, etc..) and have come up with nothing. I'm not very familiar with Hyundai's, but I wouldn't think there are very many components to the rear suspension other than struts that could be making a clunk like that. But with 23k miles, the struts shouldn't be bad.
View 6 RepliesI have an 2012 Accent that is sitting at 35k miles. I just got the 30,000 service done and a few days after I started to hear this ticking sound along with a squeak. The car can be idle or moving, squeak still there. It's sporadic though. Sometimes I can go 20-30 miles without hearing it and then all of a sudden I start hearing the ticking squeak. It sounds like its coming below the front passenger side of the car. It doesn't matter how fast I'm going, it's a ticking squeak that just comes and goes, but when it comes, it usually sticks around until I turn the car off and let it cool down. If i start the car right after, the squeaking comes back, but if I let the car cool down (overnight, for example), the squeak goes away until I drive 20-30 miles. I commute to work about 40 miles each way (80 miles total) every day so I can definitely hear it and it's bothersome.
View 5 RepliesWent to dealer today for rattling noise which appeared to be coming from bottom of engine on passenger side. Dealer diagnosed bad a/c compressor and had to order. This noise has been going on for past week and noise appeared with and without a/c on and always at "idle" speed. Noise would go from barely audible to very noisy and loudest with a/c on. If I turned a/c off, noise would diminish immediately; however, still audible with a/c on. Car only has 2,950 miles and a/c works fine, other than the rattling noise at times.

View 3 RepliesMy passanger side blade has been hitting the side of my windshield randomly since the car was new. Wasn't able to replicate the issue at the dealer so I was pulling the blade off last night to investigate and broke the small square retaining clip (Red arrow). Do the clip assembly (Blue arrow) can be purchased separately or if I have to buy a whole new wiper.

View 7 RepliesIts been awhile since I've posted, but this is annoying me! Everytime I drive over a small imperfection on the road, I hear this "rattle" or "small thunk" that sounds like either plastic panels in the rear, or maybe the rear suspension.
I ensured the rear seats were locked in place, I even removed that flimsy rear deck, and even drove with my seats down, and I still hear the sound.
I park on some bumpy terrain at my house, and sometimes I'll go over speed bumps maybe a little too fast, but not really fast.
Its just a sound that's never been there before, and I can't hear it unless I have the music off. Its not overly loud, but that "rattle" or "thunk" just makes me this car feel not so "new and refined" anymore.
My accent 1.4L gl at noise on road condition and especially rough road.. I can hear the bumps on the tire LOUDLY.. do i have to change my tires? or spring?
View 16 RepliesRecently I noticed that my passenger and drivers side tail lights do not get brighter when I hit the brake. However, the center LED lights still are functioning properly. What might be wrong and how to fix it? I thought it might be the break light switch based on what I have read, but I would imagine that the center LED lights would be messed up too if that was the problem.
View 2 RepliesLast night while driving in the ice and snow storm we had in the north east my passenger side wiper started acting funny was hitting the driver side wiper and not going full cycle. I think there is something wrong with the linkage,the driver side works fine bringing it in for service Monday.

I did my pads and rotors this weekend. On the fronts I had some difficulty with the passengers side retaining clip. It was stuck in on the bottom. I wound up bending it out of place trying to get it off, and eventually just removed the caliper without it.
I took it out for it's first regular drive today and there is a rattling noise when the passenger's side goes over bumps (could be front or back, hard to say). I have theorized that the clip is deformed enough that when it gets jostled, it bumps out onto the rim which makes it go twang (which would be consistent, it's a relatively high pitched rattle. I'm going to look at it tomorrow, but I'm not sure what I should actually do. Can I just clip it off? What purpose does it serve? I might be able to get it out with WD40 and bend it in to shape.
