Had my Accent nearly 5 months now and just in the last week there's a buzzing noise from near the right hand rear door when I use the key fob remote to unlock the doors. Has never made a sound before except for a click when the doors unlock.
Do these cars have a buzzer or is this the sign of impending doom coming from the unlocking solenoid in that door ?
Experiencing static noise coming from their 2013 Camry SE rear passenger speakers? The noise comes and goes. It depends on the road and the distance. I've had someone sit back there and it sounds like metal grinding or rubbing against each other. The noise is faint but can get annoying.

View 5 RepliesI've just got a 2014 model Hyundai i25 and it has a funny habit. When the driver's door is opened there is a ticking noise (like a light on/off sound). The noise stops when the door is closed. It happens only with the driver's door. This a company car and I checked the others ~ 15. None behaves the same. The local official Hyundai dealer/workshop can't figure it out...

View 2 RepliesWhen I'm driving and come to a stop for at least two seconds, I hear a slight click/tap noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. Then as soon as I let off the brake, I hear the noise again. I can only hear it with the radio off, and I cannot seem to replicate it when my AC is running. I have Eco mode enabled too. I have no engine/warning lights on my dash, and have no reason to believe my vehicle has an issue; just simply trying to find out what the noise is.
View 2 RepliesMy wife has a 2012 Accent with 23k miles. Within the last few weeks she started having a clunking noise coming from the rear passenger side when going over bumps. I had some time to check the basics (loose lugs, broken exhaust bracket, spare tire, trunk lid, etc..) and have come up with nothing. I'm not very familiar with Hyundai's, but I wouldn't think there are very many components to the rear suspension other than struts that could be making a clunk like that. But with 23k miles, the struts shouldn't be bad.
View 6 RepliesI am a new Camry owner. I am very pleased with the vehicle so far, but I've noticed a strange buzzing/static sound coming from my driver's side front door.
I checked to see if anything was in the storage compartment on the doors (all of them in fact) but I saw nothing in there. I turned off the stereo system and I double checked that all the windows were closed, yet the sound persisted for about 5 minutes. This has happened intermittently for several days now, and seems to happen whenever I go over some rough surfaces.

I took a long trip (600 miles roundtrip) and noticed a buzzing/rattling noise when I was going faster than 65-70 miles an hour on the interstate. And on top of that, when I play songs with a heavy, flat bass, the door gets a very noticeable rattle. When the bass punches, it's fine, but not so much otherwise.
View 3 RepliesVehicle: 2011 Toyota Matrix XR 4-door hatchback ... A few days ago I noticed that my car started making an odd, very noticeable squeaking noise. The noise is coming from my rear left-hand wheel. It's audible from outside the car, and from inside with the windows down.
The wheel makes a squeak each time it turns, so the frequency increases with higher speed. It's audible from ~15km/h, below which the squeak is barely audible, up to ~70km/h, above which I can't hear it any more, maybe because of wind. It makes a slightly different kind of squeak from the same spot when I'm backing up. There is no other noise of any kind (nothing unusual is heard with the engine on, and the car stationary). There are no other problems at all with the vehicle. It's been about 4000km since my last oil change, I have that coming up soon, but I doubt that is the cause of this, since it's coming from the wheel.
What I can do is take off the wheel and take some pictures of the wheel and breaks to show ....
Recently I've had problems with my DRL (Day time Running Lights) Control Module. When I start the car, the DRL starts to make a loud buzzing sound. When I turn on my High Beams, it stops making the noise. It sounds like there's a relay that Isn't working like its supposed to be. So, I've thought of replacing it, but I`m not sure if its the DRL that's defective or just a wiring problem...
View 1 RepliesI've suddenly developed a loud buzzing noise from my air-con system. I checked the hmaservice website, but the images don't look anything like what I have behind my glove box. I have a right-hand drive vehicle.
hmaservice says to remove the outside-air/recirc cable, and the picture shows this coming in from the left, where the center console would be on a LHD car. Mine comes in from the right of course. That is where the mirror imaging ends!
The service pages say that the filter sits behind this cable, and there's some sort of "hook" to remove to open a flap for the filter. There's no hook or anything like the images on my car.
Bought a brand new 2012 Prius in California - Power Toyota in Irvine. It was heavily raining so did not test drive. Package 3.Next day noticed that there was excessive road feel and buzzing like vibration.Took the car in and they noticed it too.
Changed Goodyears to Yokohoma, checked suspension and tire pressure. Issue did not go away. It is subtle but constant. Dealership said there is nothing wrong with the car and every car drives differently. Offered to change car with me taking a hit of 5000 dollars. It is like driving on a stone like rough surface with a buzz like vibration.Other cars I test drove did not have this. Two of my friends have 10 and 11 Prius they did not have the problem. They also felt the Buzz/Vibration in my car.
I have an 01 Accent GL 1.6L. It will not turn over. Battery, terminals, and wires are all new. Alternator is also good. There is a buzzing noise coming from beside the cold air intake. I'm not sure what part that is. The part that is buzzing is where the cam position sensor is connected to. It also has wires that run into the firewall.

Typically I can put the volume up and you do hear it, but if on a very low volume or even if the system is off I feel as if I'm hearing some kind of static or very low pitch noises coming from the speakers.

View 4 RepliesI got home yesterday around 5 pm, and after 5 1/2 hours, noticed a buzzing noise from the battery area. It was 50 degrees out, so I don't think it needed cooling? Anyway, I plugged it in for a minute and the sound changed, then unplugged and after a few minutes the sound shut off. Never experienced this before, so long after shutting down. No sound this morning and charging now, no problem so far.

I've removed the door panel hoping to find something loose inside that is causing this buzzing. All the door panel's locating pins are intact and secure the panel as they should. In other words... The door panel secures as it should and nothing looks broken at it's attachment points.
The noise does not occur on a smooth road surface...and only occurs on rougher road. So I realize the vibration is being transmitted by road vibrations.
I can hear/feel a lite jolt from the tire's contact with the road's surface irregularities and if the road surface remains consistently rough ... that jolt turns into a buzzing drone type noise. Well ... at least until I hit a smooth road surface again. Then the buzzing subsides. No, it is not an electrical buzz/noise.
Sounds more like plastic vibrating against the door's inner surface... But I don't see a scuff mark or anything giving me a clue as to what it could be !?
I've thought of removing the door panel...then take a test drive without it installed. Just to be sure it is not the the window glass support/channels... door lock/lever mech. rod or loose wiring. But haven't done that as of yet. With the door panel removed... I don't see anything that looks loose or could be causing this rattle/buzzing noise ?
It's difficult to say exactly where this noise is transmitted from... but if I were to guess... I have to think it's possibly near center... around the arm rest area. I see behind that is only some wires coming from the window control unit. But I don't see how those could be culprit of this buzzing noise ?
My '10 is still under the 36K warranty...
