View 4 RepliesI have a 2012 SE v6 with 1600 miles on it. About a week ago, I noticed my bumper cover pulled away from the corner of the headlight and there was a noticeable gap. I pushed on it, and heard a click. The bumper stayed in place. After a couple days driving, it came loose again. I didnt touch it so the Service Writer would see it first hand. Of course, his first instinct was to puch on it, but I got loud quickly, so he kept his hands to himself, and heard me out. I knew if he clicked it back into place I would be SOL. He admitted something needed to be done, not just click it back.
When I picked it up, he said it was a known issue, and there is a TSB on it. He claimed they replaced a bracket. The invoice reads, "ADDED FELT TO TIGHTEN FIT". Yeah, Im sure that will hold just long enough for them to wash their hands of it.
how to remove it.My wife backed into my truck and put a dent in the corner of it so I am hoping i can pop it out.
View 4 RepliesSo I'm trying to remove the rear bumper cover on a '15, but it has been a royal pain. I went in thinking that the procedure would be similar to what it is on the '14, but it is way more involved. The biggest issue I'm having is removing the large plastic triangular side bracket. It has these weird T-nuts fastened to the body, which you cant remove, and the whole thing looks like it would need to slide upwards to get it off, but you wouldn't have enough room because the shape of the body just gets in the way.
View 1 Replies2013 Prius IV.... I just noticed that my right side rear bumper cover has a 1/4 inch gap between the bumper and the quarter panel. I think it's from me sitting on the bumper while tying up my shoes or something. When I apply downward pressure on the rear bumper, the gap widens. The left side is tighter, but does gap out when downward pressure is applied. In any case, the gap is annoying.

View 5 RepliesI was recently in a fender bender where I was rear ended. My rear bumper cover became detached on the left side and the spoiler underneath it (left side and center parts) became detached. I lost several pieces of hardware in the crash. I was able to clip the bumper cover back in on the left side, and aside from that, I don't believe any bolts, screws, etc. are missing for the bumper cover. However, the spoiler seems to be missing about half of its hardware.

View 4 RepliesYesterday I came home for 20 minute stop. I parked with my front end sticking out of the garage.. Big Mistake! My 10 year old daughter sees the garage open and hits the button to close the garage door and walks away. Worst part is! I could hear the door closing from inside the house and could not get outside fast enough!
I've spent the last 24hrs trying to find replacement parts on the net and all I have obtained is more confusion. Is it all one assembly or am I looking for multiple part numbers??
Replaced this gasket that seems to be leaking oil. Looks simple enough, is there anything i should do or know before taking on this job? It's a 2002 Accent GS 1.5L ....
View 8 RepliesI have a 2012 sedan. I am not sure what happened, I don't know that I'm getting the full story. I bought the 2012 Accent for my partner, I drive an 11' Santa Fe. Anyhow, the front bumper on the passenger side appears to be separating from the body of the car underneath where it clips in under the fender/headlight area. I snapped it back in and it appeared to be secure. Went out to the garage last night and, well... it's popped back out but looks worse than it did before. Is it just clips that hold the bumper on that could have broke? And if so, do I have to replace the entire bumper to correct this?
