Accent MC (2006-11) :: Tire Valves Window Broke

Have 2010 Accent. Like it. BUT tire valves awkward to reach, so I put extensions to use tire gage and air pump more conveniently. When I went to take metal cover off, the whole valve broke in my hand. Cost $100.00 because sensor had to be replaced as well. Dealer would not cover cost because I had used aftermarket equipment instead of OE plastic valve cover and metal cover had corroded in place. E-mailed factory rep, got same answer.
Also, when reaching across passenger seat to wind down window, crank came off in my hand. Shoved it back on, but just recently noticed there is a bezel in door tray where it landed. Can't for life of me see where it should go.

In the process of rebuilding a 2007 Accent where the timing belt broke while idling.
Pulled the head, ran a "water test" on the valves (put spark plug in, pour water on the valves and see if it comes out the exhaust/intake side) and found that only 2 intake valves were belt. Also shut off all the lights in a pitch black room, shined a flashlight in the intake/exhaust and didn't see any light leak from any of the cylinders except the one with the 2 bent valves.
Does this make sense? I would assume since 2 cylinders are always TDC at once, at least 4 valves would be bent.
Lastly, before rebuild I'll be replacing the 2 intake valves, all the valve stem seals, intake manifold gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, head gasket, head bolts and valve cover gasket. Anything else I should replace on the head? Trying to keep costs down as much as possible.
To add: Pistons have no damage on them, there are no marks of the valves hitting the pistons. The timing belt was replaced after it broke and the engine still ran however it ran rough. Compression test was done on only cylinder 1&2, 1 had 60 PSI and 2 had 0 PSI. Compression test was also done by just rotating the crank with a socket since I already had some of the engine disassembled.

How do you access the tire air valves on the DRW, the inside tire valve? I can't get my air guage or my compressor air filling connection on the inside tire.

Just had new tire installed and now noticing that the original stem cap was not used. Alarm is not lit, but wondering if I should try to retrieve the original one, since we notified the tire shop that afternoon......or purchase a new one.

My 09 Accent 3dr hatchback driver side window starts to hang up on something about 2/3 of the way as the window rolls down. Took to dealer, they said they had fixed it, but alas, its worse now than before.

My passenger side window is moving like a snail.
I tried both, the button on the driver side, and the one on the passenger side, and I get the same result. I also tried pulling on the door to give it more space, so it's not that it has too much pressure on it from the door. My car only has 27,000 miles on it, so the motor shouldn't be going out already. But I guess it's possible.
I'm pretty sure it's always been slower than the driver side window, but between today and yesterday, I noticed it's been getting dramatically slower every time I use it. I'm kinda' afraid to push the button to take it down now.

Had new tires put on yesterday and today my TPMS light came on. I guess one of the sensors came loose as I can hear it rattling around in the LR tire.
My question is do I have to replace all four sensors or can I just replace the one?

When I bought my 2008 accent I had to replace the two front tires in order to pass inspection. I think the garage didn't notice that my rear tires were actually a different size. The entire summer season I had been running two 205/45/16's on the front and two 205/55/16's on the rear.
After the winter I took them to a different garage to take off my winters and they refused to put my summers back on.... is this a major issue to run the 205/55/16's on the rear axle and the 205/45/16's on the front axle? I know they fit but is there a real safety concern or the garage covering their own bases.

My passenger window switch has stopped working. At first it did not want to open and close using the main switch on the driver door . (2008 1.6 3 door hatch). Then it also stopped operating on the single switch by the passenger door. Luckily its in a closed position. Is there any possible fixes, bar having to buy a new switch, as its proving hard to locate. Mostly main switches for the sedans available.

How to remove the window cranks from the door panels on the 2010 Accent. I have reaad lots about other models and can't find anything on the 2010. I purchased the cranks removal tool but it don't appear to work at all. I drop by my dealer and that was like talking to the wall, they don't know how to remove the handle.

We have a 2007 Passat. The tire pressure sensor broke off at the valve stem. In checking with the dealer, I was told the tire pressure sensor and valve stem are all one unit. My question is if you can use a regular valve stem and attach the sensor to it, or do you have to get the entire unit with the valve stem and sensor together.

I have a 1997 F250 Light Duty with a 5.4L and 4 wheel drive, 216,000 miles. Last year one of my front tire chains broke and ripped the ABS wire. I have soldered them back together and no longer have the ABS light illuminated in the dash. However, when I apply the brakes at speeds slower than 25 mph, the ABS pulses. Over 25 mph the brakes work as they should until almost stopped and then they pulse.

I ran over a curb on the passenger side and somehow broke off all 4 tabs that you screw into to hold your fog lights in place.
How to fix this issue without replacing the bumper? I don't have any cracks in the bumper but I do have scratches on the bottom of the bumper.
I don't suppose I can get this replaced under warranty can I?

I recently bought new Accent 2011 and drove it for a couple of weeks. Couple of days ago I noticed that only one out 3 Power Window Buttons lights up with when dim lights are on. Also there are no lights for power lock bottom. Is it the way it suppose to be or it is some sort of an issue? The only reason I noticed it, is that my driver side power window button lights up and the rest don't.

I have a 2012 Accent GLS with premium package. So, this came with fog lights. Few months back, one of the fog lights got ripped of its place and the body shop said the hooks which hold the light are broken and whole bumper need to be replaced for the light to be attached and quote was given for around $750.
I contacted other small body shops to just stick the light with glue but no one accepted to do that.
I don't use those fog lights anyway. So, is it cheap in a way to remove the other fog light and just fill the fog light spots? When I say fill, I am not sure what those are called which exist in place of fog lights for a car with no fog lights. I think its better than just being with one fog light.

I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey with 40K miles. The valves have been making a chattering noise for awhile now. I have tried different brands of gas (highest grade) - no luck. I took the car in to the dealer while it was still under warranty they could not find anything wrong. I took it again lately and they said not to worry. It seems like some sensor is not functioning properly but I could be wrong.

I have a 2006 sonata with a 2.4 . It has 120,000 miles on it right now. Around 100k miles , when the engine is under load(hard accelerations), the top end of the engine starts clacking,like the rockers arms are loose. It also does it when in park and you rev it up above 3000 rpm then let off the gas. I have not had time to pull the valve cover yet.

I just found out that the air conditioning compressor is broke in my 2006 prius and its going to cost $1800 to fix it.. I am not in the loop here but that seems ridiculously high. I mean i save money at the pump but all that money just went out the door if i get this repaired. I am really contemplating trading the car in rather than deal with that expense..

I have a 2006 F-15 XLT with a bed cover, tailgate cover and separate tailgate cap. The cap has cheap plastic clips that went into the tailgate but have broken off...this is a problem as I have a tonneau cover that is a tight fit. Every time I close the tailgate with the cover on, I have to jam the cap down and hope it is far enough by the time the tailgate closes.
2 Questions:
1) Where can I buy a reasonable replacement?
2) Is there a good solution to just repair? I tried JB Weld, but that did not seem to hold (surprisingly)
