Accent MC (2006-11) :: Keyless Entry Not Functioning Properly

My keyless entry is suddenly acting funny. 2010 manual accent hatch, bought new, no problems at all so far. 50k on the clock.
Usually when I press the unlock button, the marker lights flash once and the drivers door unlocks, press again you get another single flash and the other doors unlock. Right?
Press the lock button and it should flash twice and lock the car. Press lock again and it will honk.
I had not driven the car for about one week and this morning the locks work ok, but the lights and horn are not doing what they should.
When I unlock, I get no flashing lights at all. When I lock I get the double flash, but no horn. Also, the panic mode works as it should, lights and horn.

I have a 2006 Lexus GS 300 and I have had the car for almost two years now. I have noticed that when I use my keyless entry button to unlock and lock the car, its not as loud as it was in the past. My key fobs all have new batteries in them (2 kays for the car). Could this mean that I need a battery soon? When I first got the car, the "beep beep" noise from when you lock and unlock the car was louder, now you can barely hear it.

I have a problem with my keyless entry and liftgate. It began as an intermittent problem and now it is constant. I am unable to use my keyless entry. I have checked the batteries, reprogrammed the remotes and nothing works. I am unable to open my liftgate at all unless I go in through the access hole in the liftgate from the inside and manually flip the latch. WHAT A PAIN!I did some online research and found that this is an issue with the 2006 trailblazer. According to the information I found, it seems to be an issue with the wiring between the liftgate and the chassis. The "short" tells the vehicle that the door is open, and this is why the keyless and the liftgate have issues. I have taken the tape off of the wires, disconnected the coupling and inspected them. I do not see any frayed wires or rubbing issues. Where do I begin troubleshooting which wire is the problem and how do I fix this?

I've recently purchased an off-lease 2007 Sonata and have the following question about the keyless entry. When I unlock the doors I notice that there is a short flashing of parking lights, however when locking the doors with the remote there is no indication.
I believe the manual says there ought be a short chirping which I am not hearing. The remote is just for keyless entry (no alarm is present). While this may be related, I find the horn sound is not very robust (actually quite puny). Is this normal for this car?

The keyless entry for my Freestar has just started acting up out of the blue. It will occasionally work after repeated button pushing on the fob.
It does this for both fobs
It does this for all buttons on the fobs
I have tried changing the fob batteries
The door buttons inside the car work just fine
What can cause intermittent functionality of the keyless entry system? Is there a box under the dash I can unplug/replug or a fuse I can change?

The key ring part of the fob for the keyless entry on the truck (2006 F250 V10) broke a while back. Finally got around to buyin a replacement only to realize that the keyless entry that came with the truck is not OEM. It's an Omega L2M 4410.
In trying to cycle locks to replace the fobs, the locks will not cycle. Tried everything that can be found on forums, youtube, etc. all to no avail. This leads me to believe that the aftermarket keyless was put on because there wasn't keyless from the factory.
I have experience with installing aftermarket systems, but this one stumps me - can't find where the system was installed in the first place. To me, this sounds like it should go to a shop for further investigation.

I have a 2010 Accent GLS with 96,000 miles. Up to now I have only needed to do regular maintenance (which I do myself usually ) and had no major issues other than the sway bar drop link problem which I found the solution to on this forum. And self destructing spark plugs (on 3 separate occasions).
The other day while driving, the car surged once like it was running out of fuel. Then the tachometer stopped functioning. And if I floored the accelerator to cause a downshift I would lose power and the car would surge until I let up on the accelerator and the car would up shift. The CEL came on and I had the code read. It was P0339. So I replace the crankshaft sensor and everything went back to normal and the CEL went off. Until 2 days later...
Today the CEL came back on. I had no issues while driving as far as I could tell. I had the code read again and it came up as P0336, P0300, P0302, and P0303. The odd thing is I have no starting or running issues. So I'm really not sure what is going on here.

2000 GMC pickup with 160 k. Didn't seem to get hot enough. Changed the thermostat and fixed that problem. Temperature is just below 210 degrees. Heater never did work well ( had it bout 6 months). After I changed the thermostat heater was cold. Ran it for a while and heater eventually warmed a bit but it doesn't get hot. And sometimes it goes cold. It goes back and forth....cold to warm..never hot. Is my heater core stopped up or do I have a control problem?

Some time ago my power mirrors stopped working. I don't normally adjust my mirrors all that much since I'm the only one who drives it but when I have, adjusting the mirror knob does nothing... and when it does, moving the joystick down will move the mirror up!
Depending on whether the lights are on or off all seems to change whether or not the mirrors will work. My right mirror seemed to be working fine but then that stopped as well.
Nothing is ever consistent; either they don't work or work very intermittently.
I've pulled the door skins off and nothing is torn or ripped wire-wise, changed the knob to a brand new one and still nothing.What it could be?
I'll bring it to my mechanic and sure enough it'll work when tested then will stop working randomly. Everything else electric wise seems to be fine (windows, horn, headlights, locks).

I have a 2012 Avalon Limited with the automatic temperature control. It used to be that the recirculation function was controlled automatically. The recirculation function would come on when ever the outside temp was hot enough and the inside temp setting was low enough. This is also how my 2000 Avalon XLS works and how my 2014 Tundra 1794 Edition works. Both have the automatic air conditioning system. Now the recirculation function must be turned on manually in order for it work. This has just been happening for the last 3-4 months. The dealer service writer tells me that all 2010 through 2012 Avalons with the automatic temp control Air Conditioning require the recirculation function to be controlled manually. Is this really true?
The manual makes no mention of this requirement to control the recirculation function manually. The manual says that the recirculation function MAY be controlled manually, but, when the A/C is on automatic temp control, the recirculation function is turned on and off by the A/C, depending upon the outside air temperature and the interior vehicle temp setting chosen on the A/C front panel.

My brake pedal needs to be practically be pushed to the floor for the car to stop. I went to a Munro Muffler and they replaced all brake pads and turned the rotors. The problem of the pedal to the floor did not go away. The Munro tech struggled with this then popped me with this estimate - brake lines master cylinder to ABS / brake lines ABS to front brake flex hoses connections, / brake lines - ABS to rear junctions fittings at the passenger front door. Also they want to sell me a rear wheel bearing because the temperature at one point was very high. The total estimate is $840. I can remove the Rear wheel bearing to bring the estimate down to 500. I asked if we could do lines from ABS to Master Cylinder only and the tech advised against it. I feel like I am about to get ripped off and am going for a second opinion.

On my Hyundai Accent 2007 (3 door) I accidentally closed tail gate without pushing the outside handle off me, as the manual recommends. After that I am unable to open the tail gate, neither manually turning the key clockwise nor with keyless fob by pushing UNLOCK button. I do hear that it unlocks however when pulling handle towards me, I simply can't open the hatch. Driver's and passenger doors open and close fine. I've checked the manual from cover to cover and verified every single thing that it talks about, but still no result.

Can you only open the driver's door on a Prius V 3 without holding the key? I can't seem to get the back to open and there is no sensor on the passenger's front. I am sure going to miss it for grocery shopping.

For some reason, it just stopped working. I replaced the battery about a couple of weeks ago, and it has worked fine until today. it shows the red led on the remote when I press lock or unlock, but nothing happens.

We're having trouble programming the keyless entry fob to unlock the doors. Seems that we can get it to open the automatic way (putting fob close to lock) but to lock and unlock using the buttons on the key hardly ever works. Is there someway to program through the MAF that im not seeing? (tried comfort settings) also tried resetting the key by unlocking manually and starting the car.

I have the keyless entry feature, but it's been acting strange lately. I keep my key in my right side jacket pocket & lock/unlock the door with the button on the handle of the car. Lately it hasn't been working....I have the hold the key next to the handle It seems to be doing this just about every other time I get in or out of the car.

Recently the keyless entry buttons (lock, unlock, panic) buttons stopped working. The red light still came on (strong), but car wouldn't unlock. The key still works for starting the car, but having to use the manual key to enter.
What I have tried:
Ensured this is Option Package 1 car, no push button to disable the SKS from under the dash Tried the reprogramming steps here in this post (though I would say they are not 100% clear) Read the owner manual pages 20-40 Gave up and spent $5 on another CR2032 battery (did not work).

I often use my key to locate my car in a crowded parking lot. But the range of the keyfob isn't very far, and Prius beeps pretty quietly, compared to other cars I've owned.
Where is the wireless receiver in the Prius? In the door? I'm wondering if there's a way to make it more RF-transparent and thus boost its range.
